Have a hard time shutting it down when I go to sleep (sometimes I keep it playing while sleeping). You are the only one on the whole internet (i know because I searched for ages)who plays Townes on a regular base and thus giving him the credit he deserves. Also enjoy the Teatro side of Willie Nelson. Maybe there's only one song a day that I don't find great, but only 'good'. I could rate all the songs with the 'tumbs up sign. I tell everybody I know to put Bikerradio on their tuner. Also great how you support the artist; I save every dime to buy the great stuff I discover on your station. | New Artists for BikerBar Radio: | Wher's the Greatful Dead? I would suggest "Wake of the Flood" and "For the Faithful" to start. The latter is a mostly acoustic set while the former contains "Let it Grow" which has an excellent Mid-American/Southwestern harvest theme. Neither is heavy nor "acid" sounding.
I would also suggest looking into Merle Saunders and some of Jerry Garcia's Bluegras compositions. These two have collaborated over the years with Jerry playing banjo and Merle Saunders Mandolin. |
