| Comments: | Little late to the game here, I know - it's been a year since the last comment! Ah, well...better late then never, eh? I just reread this series for what was probably the 15th time, and every time I wish for a movie adaptation. Perhaps someday... The cast...unfortunately, the people I picture for the roles are a bit too old now, lol. However, my mind is still firmly set for Klaus - I think Donald or Keifer Sutherland would do him proud. :) Bonnie I always pictured as Brittany Murphy from the movie Clueless (post makeover and minus the low I.Q. factor, of course). Christian Coulson seems a perfict fit for Damon, but I never could figure out Stefan. Shane West, while certainly attractive, doesn't hold that "tortured soul" persona for me. Agreed with Katherine and Elena being the same person...with today's technology, a bit of subtle prosthetics and slight voice changes would keep them just different enough to keep the intrigue. As for Tyler, I'm not even sure if anyone would remember this... Creepshow 2, the clip called "The Raft." Paul Satterfield (who played Zeke), I think would've made a truly perfect Tyler. (Unfortunately that movie was in '87, and Mr. Satterfield is now 47 years old.) Definitely not trying to stomp all over your cast pics. Truth be told I know everyone has their perfect pictured person in mind whilst reading a good book. Just thought I'd throw my two cents in. Now about that movie adaptation... ...someone's gotta be up for the project! ;) |
