| Comments: | Edward is 10 months old and very gorgeous he is an angel yet has the devil in him too!the twinkle in his eyes is not often missing and he is spoilt by everyone in his life- when you are first told your child has Downs .. well it hurts for a while and then one day it hits you that they are babies first and foremost and when you stop to think about the kids that are out there with worse problems than Downs . .well you know you just feel lucky and blessed . .I know Edward makes my day with his big cheeky grin and when I cuddle him it just seems he gets as much out of it as I do! |

Cassie is now 3 yrs an 2 months,she has started a state pre-school and is doing very well. She is trying to run and says lots of words, which we aree trying to get her to string together. She has been assessed by Portage at a mental age of 2 and a half, so this goes to show the more time you put into them, the benfits definately show through. Happy Easter to you all.. x |

| Comments: | I am trying to trace my half-brother who has/had Downs syndrome. The last information I had was that he was in Lincolnshire. His name is Geoffery or Jeffery Michael Harwood and was born around 1936 probably in the York area.
I know he was at one time in Claypenny hospital in York. Any help would be appreciated. Andy T. |

| Comments: | I have met several parents and children associated with your group, in the Market Deeping area. My granddaughter Alice Lovett (has Down's Syndrome) and her Father Mick Lovett seem to have disappeared and I would like to get back in touch with them. My daughter,Alice's mother, Christine Lovett, died of a brain tumour in June 2005.

| Comments: | i have a four year old (7/15/02) down syndrome son and i am just amazed at what he can do. hezakiah graduated from early childhood classes and will be going on to kindergarten at the early age of four. i am so proud of him. my mom raises my son as at the time hezakiah was born i was homeless; i did what was best for my son. my son would not be where he is today if not for his nana. |

Great to see loads of support. Cassie is now 2 yrs and 4 months, she is now walking and a real destructive madam!! She is speaking quite a lot, and signing loads of makaton. her fave shows are "Somethng Special", and Boogie Beebies, which she can now stand up and dance too, big bum wiggling is so funny... Shes so fab its untrue. xx |

I cant believe Cassie was only 7 months when I first signed the book. She is now 15 months and a little madam! She grows more gorgeous and funny everyday,she is bum shuffling and does the splits when she wants to reach anything!She has physio and attends a spesh needs centre once a week and is going great guns! She says lots of words, and babbles even more. Im so proud of all her achievements, and to new moms out there, its daunting at first, but once their personalities kick in it changes everything, so hang in there.. |
