| Comments: | Thanks Leslie and Fred for your warm hospitality and great food and wine last weekend. We were particularly pleased that you made our 12yr old son feel welcome too. We had 2 fantastic breakfasts and 2 sumptuous dinners - the steak was high quality and absolute perfection and our fireside seating much appreciated. Our friends who joined us to celebrate my birthday on the Saturday evening were delighted with their stay too. Thanks for the Wine tasting, the champagne and the port - all very welcome touches. We were lucky with the weather and can highly recommend the "Redesdale Chop" (or was it called the "Redesdale Axe Man Championships"?) if people are around at that time - we had such fun! Heathcote is a very friendly community, and we would certainly like to return soon.

| Comments: | A huge thank you to Leslye and Fred for their warm welcome, wonderful food and all the little extra touches that make this such a great special to stay.
We had such a good time, and even though it was just one night it felt like we had been pampered away from the stress of the real world and transported to our idea of nirvana (great food, good wine and a spa bath for 2!) We hope to make it back one day but if not then it is certainly a place that will be highly recommended to all of our friends PS if Fred is sharing his pastry recipe I'd love a copy as Peter says it is even better than his Auntie Lillian was ever able to do and that takes some beating!!! |
