I just finished watching Planes, Trains and Automobiles for the 20th time at least. That last scene always gets to me. Seeing you sitting in that train station alone, with no home. one of the best comedic actors of his time and he did, indeed, die too young. His death also saddened me because he left a wife and two young children who needed their father. I just discovered the film, "Only The Lonely", with John Candy and Maureen O'Hara, and it was very nice that John got to play a romantic lead (his only one) shortly before he died. He left us a great legacy of comedy films and I will always miss him greatly. Peace and Love, John. |

But after watching his movies countless times and reading everything about him, I miss him just as much,well even more than if I had knew of him before he passed.
