| Comments: | THIS IS A STEPHEN MCHATTIE UPDATE! I would like you all to know that he was actually born Stephen Ralph Smith, on February 18, 1946 in Cross Roads Country Harbour, Guysborough Co. (NOT Antigonish, Antigonish Co.)...meaning--he's REALLY 56 (NOT 55), Nova Scotia. Plus "Sniff", is his nickname, and "It's a liftin'" is/was his favorite quote.
Therefore--February 3, 1947, as listed for his birthdate IS incorrect. Plus, McHattie isn't his real birth middle name, but only his professional name...a name he apparently picked-up on his grandmother, Elizabeth (Hattie) Smith's side of his Family Tree. I just wanted to set the record straight here about him. Becky, I surely hope that you make the appropriate corrections under your EOMN cast's Birthday list. Thank you. |

It is good to see Becky you have the Website ready for Christmas. nice job! And i can't wait to see Emily of New Moon back on CBC. I had been off PEI for two months this summer down in California visiting friends and touring around a little, and i was happy to see L.M.M Books in the stores and the libraries there, and the place i was staying at had WAM so i was right at home watching EONM and seeing some shows that they have not showed in Canada. I was checking my email one day while i was down there and i recieved an e-mail from Maude and it was great to hear from her, it had been awhile. I had alot of fun with the EONM RPG although i didn't really contribute much. I miss the MONM RPG. Was i ever glad to get back home to good old Prince Edward Island. And i still think PEI is the most beautiful place in the world. and now that we have snow it makes it that much more prettier. well it was really nice to come back here for a visit and get all the new info on EONM and i will be back. created! I'm fortunate to live only 90miles from Montreal so the CBC is available on our cable system and with that comes the Emily series. I read the books some time ago and was hooked after the first episode. I was quite disappointed when CBC left me questioning who Laura married! While on vacation on P.E.I. this summer, I found Emily on ONTv-that was a treat!!! Upon return to VT-I found the cable system had added WAM!. I've been able to enjoy Emily in all episodes. Thank you for the great episode guide-I've taped them but fear I've missed a few-now I can track episodes. If WAM! is available in your area--Emily airs at 2am, 6pm, and 11pm M-F(est)-one episode per day. I look forward to stopping by again!!! |

First, if Martha reads this, Thank You! So Much for signing this book!! :) I'm honored that you took the time to visit my page, and sign the guestbook. :) And thank you for answering some of our questions. :) Also, I'm speechless. :) Stunned... :) I checked my e-mail and found out that someone had signed my book, and opened the e-mail and then went into shock. :) Imagine Becky thinking, "Oh wow, oh wow! I can't believe this! Oh wow!" Then I wondered... well it could be someone posting using her name... then I thought, but Megan Follows signed a guest book and Michael Mahonen really signed a book, and some actors from Little Men have been to chats etc... so it *could* be real! So, I began thinking "oh wow, oh wow!" again. :) Then I showed it to my mother, saying, "I'm not sure if this is real, but if it is... it's amazing....Could it be real?!" Several people have asked if it was really Martha. I can't completely prove that it's her, but I think it is. :) Even if it isn't it's more fun to think that it was Martha. :) If I find out for sure, I'll tell you. :) Anyway, I've decided that I'm going to write her a snail mail (c/o CBC I guess) and thank her for visiting the page, and tell her how awesome it was for her to visit and sign the book, and well, I'd thought of writing before, but now I know I'm going to write. :) Maybe if she writes back she will be able to tell us it's really her. I'm still a little stunned. A few friends say that it wasn't a dream, and my mother says it isn't a dream, but what if I'm dreaming and they are telling me it isn't a dream, in my dream? hee hee Something that always surprises me... I sometimes think of writing to an actor, to say how much I enjoy their shows, etc. What surprises me, is with the internet, they can find fans of their shows, and "talk" to us before we ever write to them. I just think it's so cool when they take the time to write or go to a chat or post in a guest book. I'm surprised, happy, excited, thrilled, and think it was so nice of Martha to sign the book!!! the Internet. The background is nice and makes things really easy to read. The pictures sections is nice too but some of the pictures are little too small..(But I guess you can't control that.) Anyway, do you live on PEI? I went to the Island for a few days this year. I did make it to carbott (sp?) beach park and saw the houses. But there was no set or anything. Cinar and watched Emily being filmed. It was great. Martha MacIsaac is my pen friend's daughter and visiting P.E.I. was a childhood dream come true. It was magical. Green Gables was wonderful and Anne was as real to me as Lucy Maud intended her to be. I guess we are all children at heart. I feel that Martha will be make Emily just as famous as Anne. |
