Romans 3:23 NIV says "for ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". Galatians 3:22 "But the Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe""God will give to each person according to what he has done. To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil. "Romans 2:6-9NIV. "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. " Galatians 6:7-8 NIV. John 3:16 says God loves us so much that he gave his only son so that we may have eternal life. " ...If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." Romans 6:23 NIV"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" Romans 10:9-10 NIV. |

My religious quest eventually took me beyond the small-mindedness of the JWs - and I believe that if there is something like a God, it's got to be a little more profound than the misery and violent God they seem to worship. We have seen the result of attempted theocracies before - it's never a good idea. I feel sad for the rank and file Witness, who is generally a decent sort, but the leadership has a lot to answer for! My dilema is I want to attend church but don't know how. i keep telling myself i will but when? I also don't know which one to attend. I am currently studying Bible Student literature but there are no ecclesias in my area. I need fellowship.
