Comments:sorry to everyone who came out to see 80's Enough at Bubba's the other nite...although we were awesome, and some might say totally boss, circumstances beyond our control forced the night into total lameness. anyway, i'm looking into the situation and i'm trying to figure out what to do for next months gig. it may get moved to a bigger venue, with more parking...

-the discovery of fire
-the invention of the submarine
-and the debut of Eighties Enough on Friday, April 25, 2009 at Bubba's in Bridgeport, WV.

Get there early and be a part of history.

Comments:dreambook seems to be getting inundated with spam. this is the second occurrence...i think it's time to give it up.

it's a shame. i used it when i started the solo thing, and my band, which probably started doing webstuff in 1996 used it. i'd say, probably at the forefront for having message boards for bands. definitely the end of an era.

i'll leave it up for a while longer, then most likely switch over to a blogger style page.

people...I must stress that I AM NOT responsible for party guests getting out of hand and being too loud.

the cop said he got two complaints. I'm pretty sure the first one came during the sing-a-long of "bye bye miss american pie" and the second came during the sing-a-long of "every rose has it's thorn."

Comments:"Bury Me Standing" has just broken into the top 10 on the Pop SongVault Auditions Chart.

Crazy music coming from my bro-in-law....crazier reviews. Pretty neat site. Nice to get feedback from music lovers...I may have to sample....

Karen, something is always wrong with your computer...get rid of that webtv thing...it's the new millenium for goodness sake! Not sure when I'll make it over there to MD. I don't have plans right now, but that could change.

Massey...i love it...every once in a while you pop up. Noone knows where or when...but when it happens, it's always a joy. You're right though...when you enter Hell, the marqee says, "Tonight, and Every Night, For Eternity: Balloonhead and Cakeface. One Show Only. Over, and Over, and Over, and Over Again. You Will Love It."

Happy Belated B-day to Heather, and Happy Early B-day Eric. I do not know when I will be able to get online again since I am having computer issues, and in the process of getting a new one. I am still hoping for at least one good snow fall. No more of this dumb ice weather.

Comments:"We Should Be Dancing," from my second album, Clear, recently got moved up to the next tier, in the Pop genre at SongVault.fm.
http://www.songvault.fm/charts/pop_indie_hit_radio.htm

Last I checked, it was #30. Competition gets stiffer here, so if you guys could go there, check out the playlists and vote for me, that would be great.

"Read A Little More" is still hanging around in the top 5 on the children's chart. It's pretty cool that it's still up so high, because if you look at the date when it was first submitted compared to the other songs, it's pretty impressive.

Comments:I don't know how this happened, but if you go to the SongVault website at:

http://www.songvault.fm/

...and you look under the "Childrens" music section, my song "Read A Little More" is in the top 20.

I'm not familiar with SongVault, but apparently, you go there to listen to independent music, from a variety of genres. You pick what you like, and vote. After 4 weeks, if you don't get enough votes, the song is removed. I think I signed up in April and the song is still there.

Usually, I have to force my music on people, but in this case people are actually voting for it. That's weird. We're definitely approaching the End of Days.

So go there, listen to some tunes, and vote for me. For the hell of it. Just to boost my ego a little more.
