I will always remember all the love and good that you gave even to a terribly confused person that I was. I now consider myself a work in progress all thanks to you and people like you that helped me see a better way. It's painful at times knowing what loss can bring but I want you to know that I never would have learned many things that I know now if I had not learned the value of the higher legacy you left all of us. My heartfelt prayers go out to the Lee family,for Eliza who to me is still part of the Lee family. I took my kids to see their graves and pay our respects for 2 of the greatest people to ever live. We try to visit often as we live in the Seattle area and it is nice to see so many go there and to watch fathers make their sons take off their ball caps out of respect.My time at Lakeview Cemetary is very emotional and bittersweet. I think it is important to keep their memories alive by sharing them with the generations to come. IF ONLY......we can only imagine. Great site!! That being said, I truly think Bruce Lee along with his son, Brandon were the two greatest motion picture martial artists that have ever lived. Unlike the motion picture industry and all other martial artists who have lost they rationality, Bruce and Brandon Lee brought to the viewers more then just their kicks and punches, but their soul as well. | Comments: | I am a life long Bruce Lee fan. I am 42 yrs old now. I live in Wilmington NC. For those of you who don't know this is where Brandon Lee died. He died at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, that is about 4 miles from where I am sitting right now. As most of you know he was accidently shot (while the cameras were rolling) on the set of "The Crow". His mother agreed to settle with the studio out of court so she would not have to watch that scene over and over. After that all film and pics were destroyed. Just as we were getting to know Brandon he to was taken from us. Just this past September my son and I made the trip to Seattle where we visited the graves of Bruce and Brandon. We also went to Mt. Saint Helens. In one trip two things I always wanted to do were accomplished.I am also a Bruce Lee collector. I know alot about about Bruce Lee, if anyone has any questions or just wants to chat send me an E mail. Thank you. |

| Comments: | I met Brandon Lee at my highschool theatre in a secret gathering in 1990 when I was 14. To this day I don't know who was responsible for setting the whole thing up, but I had a lot of problems back then that kept me from opening up to anybody, but Brandon gave me some pointers on how to overcome this and we discussed things of a metaphysical/spiritual/angelic nature. It just so happened that Brandon's interest in these things were the same interest that I had and so we kept in touch sharingt ideas about our path and what really mattered in life or reality. From that 1990 until 1993 I would get calls from him from time to time and he would share new things that he had found and simple,but very important,things that could help me out because I had shared with him that other than martial arts I wanted to explore the very nature of exsistence and he in turn did the best in helping me reasearch things that would help me along my way. I am not saying Brandon was some kind of guru or superbeing...what I am saying is that he did his best to help me in these areas of life that I was so stuck on. His help will always be geatly appreciated more than anthing. I never got the chance to thank him for his help. His last two calls to me was while he was on his trip to North Carolina for the making of the Crow and later when he was on the Crow set just a day before he died. That day took a lot out of me because I was given a chance to make a friend who had some of the best virtues that you could ever want in a friend and I say to you now Brandon,if there is anyway in the other world that you can read this, I thank you and hope to speak to you again one day and we will laugh together about all the times I kept bugging you about this or that way to meditate and how crazy I acted when I was on stage there in Grand Prarie Texas doing my impression of Eric Draven for you. We will also laugh about how I thought that I was so tough when in reallity I was a skinny kid trying to impress everybody all the time...yep...I was always seeking a way to show off in a new way. Everybody will look at what I just wrote and won't know what I am talking about, but if Brandon is reading it from the other side somehow,beyond my understanding, he will remember and know. Brandon, may the Ogdoatic angels ever gaurd you on every side on whatever plane you have been assigned to. Brandon would get me really thinking when he would say or quote"You are a dream and I am a dream. I am dreaming you and you are dreaming me and we are all dreaming each other. Besides ourselves...who is dreaming us?" I did not repeat that exactly how he said it, but the message finnaly struck home in my heart a few years later. Well, I don't want to take up all the space and I can't tell everything here on this site. I end by saying that I also look forward to a day that I can also meet Shannon"Wonder Twin Powers Activate!!!" again and also finnaly meet Linda Lee Calwell the actual former wife of Bruce. The wonder twin thing is something between Brandon and Shannon that they did when I told them that they kinda looked the same and they responded with the above. It's amazing that I knew Brandon for only a short time and felt that within some part of me that I had found a deep spiritual brother. I miss him and our talks about life,what counts,and digging out the truth out of what most call the unknown. Yes, sometimes I am sad, but I know Brandon would tell me to stop wasting my time in sorrow and to focus on my life now, but the pull to think of him is so great that both he and his entire family is added to my family prayers along with my prayers for the world. My prayers a based on hidden laws,are nonsectarian,are eclectic, and are not connected to any kind of god that expects me to be a slave but it they are directed to angels and he believed in angels. It is more correct to say we knew they exsisted. Believe in yourself....angels are everywhere and maybe closer than you think....think. Bless you all. | Comments: | nice site but you failed to mention that Bruce's continued use of hashish is what killed him, the doctors warned him after his first seizures that if he didnt quit eating cannabis he would suffer a worst fate, brain edema. | Comments: | I grew up in Vancouver, B.C and lived there almost all my life. Growing up and watching TV and movies. As a young chinese kid there were never that many role models out there for me. At least none that I felt I could really relate to and feel a part of. I was always a huge fan of Bruce Lee and it wasn't until one after noon that I was sitting in front of my television and saw a trailer for Rapid Fire that I realized Brandon existed. I was young, but I was instantly in tears. It was amazing. There he was, the son of Bruce Lee, and he was real and alive and making movies. I was instantly given a hero in life. I made it my goal to learn about him and maybe one day meet him. In 1993 we all know what happened. We all were in shock and pain, confused and saddened. I've since visited his grave, if only to prove to myself he is really gone. I never got to meet him, but I still think about him every now and again. I believe he is still one of my heros, someone I can try to emulate. I'm 27 years old now, living in Los Angeles as a television post production supervisor. I try to live my life better and with pride, he gave me a strength that i will always be thankful for. I'll miss you, Brandon. |

My father is a big fan of Bruce Lee and it was just weird how I had took Brandon without realizing how big of a fan my father was of Bruce. I started liking Brandon when I watched Showdown in Little Tokoyo. When I was in the sixth grade I had took an asthma attack and on the way home from the hospital I was listening to the radio and it came on that Brandon had passed away. I was devastated and my mother thought I was going to have another attack. The movie "The Crow" is my favorite movie and I had to have it so I bought the movie, I had also got "The Crow Soundtrack". I own Rapid Fire, Showdown in Little Tokoyo, Lazer Mission, Kung Fu the Movie, and The Crow of course. I am one of Brandon Lee's biggest fans. I wanted to name my first son after him for the past 10 years and when the time comes I ain't going to be changing my mind. I only have 2 posters of him dressed in The Crow but I treasure them. I watched his biographies and always looking up info on him through the internet. To end this I have to say that Brandon was the most extrodinary person there ever will be and all those wannabe's who try to do the Crow movies are no comparison what so ever so I don't think they should try. |
