And i completely agree with you. Although I am not a witch or Wiccan myself, I am very interested in Wicca and witchcraft and I guess you could say I follow the Wiccan Rede. Really, I'm only following my heart and my heart doesn't believe in intentionally doing anyone harm (unless, as you say, it prevents greater harm upon others). Even when simply speaking a curse on someone at whom i am angry, I stop myself and ask if it is really something that i should do. I believe that every action has a boomerang effect, and make sure that a curse is something that is really deserved/necessary. And, also, one (in my opinion) must be careful of how they curse another. I believe it important to emphasize the purpose of the curse. One of my personal favorites is "cursing" someone to live a hardship that i or someone else have/has lived so that they may be humbler for it and more compassionate towards others. It all started when i found something online...a quote acually from Bush,our president. It basically said he is against giving wiccans the same religious acceptance. Well that got me thinking about wiccan and i started reseaching it and for the 10 things about i wiccans. So basically I have really been reading up on it and have a few friends helping me out. I repect this reliogion to the highest standard for many reasons. Mainly the fact that it is not a religioun where certain types of people are not aloud, and its not here collecting money and many other reasons. I hope that I can learn more and more and someday help others the way many web sites and friends have helped me understand the truth about wiccan and get rid of all the rumors...Thankyou and please feel free to email me any time...
