| Comments: | rod , wow what a blast from the past ! great to hear from you and its really nice to hear youve gotten your life togather. its to weird that i was thinking of you a couple of days ago and now im writing this to you. so heres whats happening w the guys . dave is in spokane playing in a killer band w charlie drowns x guitatist kull, pete is on the robbie knevil show on a&e tv. greg is married and owns his own busniess on 6th ave in tac. i have lymphoma and ive been doing chemo therapy off and on since oct 01.
shane is living with the same guy near point def.his dads friend chuck. i quit smoking cigs 4 yrs ago, its helped alot. i am playing music again in a metal band near my house. i have 2 drum sets and a garage full of gear. i am ceo of poolhouse records . the label i started after i got sick and couldnt play anymore live shows. my wife is a great person and stuck it out with me every inch. she is a nanny. we live in the poolhouse .theres a photo of it on my photos page. the little girl is 3 , and her name is isabelle . she is the light and love of our lives. thanks for gettin in touch rod !!! sorry to ranble on . your long lost freind . don cooper |

| Comments: | Thanks you. A "friend" directed me to your page. I'm not sure why I logged on, but I'm glad that I did now. I very much enjoyed your website, especially the poetry. The "letters" from the disease were also very interesting and effective. I'm only just coming to terms with my own "problem" (I can't even say the word "addiction") and these things are a hard slap in the face for me. Truth hurts, doesn't it? Maybe that's why I logged on. Maybe I'm hoping something can hit me hard enough to finally wake me up...before it's too late? Thanks. |

Hey, glad i clicked the link!! I am another recovering addict & belong to the narecovery group @ yahoo (I'm new to that one) I receive emails from the posts onsite~~ that's how I found you. I do not have a web site, as I am not sure how to do them, yet. (just got my puter in May~~LOVE IT) I have been clean since 1/6/93 & live in a small town in WV w/lots of turn-over of newcomers, so I have sought support & enlightenment on the web!! There is alot of that on here!! If that is what your lookin' for & I am. Your story is a reminder to me of where I've been, and where I choose not to return too JFT!! I am a single mom, that has turned our world around w/the help of NA, love from recovering addicts & my conception of a higher power! I do not do chat (well, msn messenger w/my recovering friends) and i read alot more (online) than i write ~~ INPUT!! It is hard, for me, to write all the things I beleive to be true today. Though you being in recovery ~~you know. I would like to thank you for being here, and for sharing yourself, your creativity, your individuality (opps- it's late) DIVERSITY IS OUR STRENGTH!!!
