Comments:This past week-end the Collins Foundation had two of their aircrafts on display at the Bessemer, Alabama Airport. B-17 and B-24. I video taped the aircraft while taking off and landing. I am currently editing the footage together to go on Youtube. I remembered that I had some old WWII photos that my grandfather had, so I scanned the photo of the lonely B-17 in flight. After doing so I was able to read the name of the aircraft. Mad Money II is the name on the nose. So I inquired on the net and found this site. The picture that I have is in flight side by side shot of the aircraft. My Grandfather served as a bombardier on a B-17 in WWII. His name was C.G. "Son" Littleton of Opelika, Alabama. I have to look up the unit that he was in once I find his records somewhere in my house.

Thanks for keeping the memories of history alive!

Comments:My father was Triangle P 384th at Grafton Underwood. He was a Lt bombardier and navigator. His name was Herman "Doc" Radakovitz. He recieved a few DFC's and went on those missions as described. How all these young boys did it I'll probably never know. I will however, always remain eternally thankful.
And of course thankful to Jack's family for the web sight.

Comments:I read Jack's account of his training at Jones Field. My father, Lad Moore, was class commander and flight instructor there and probably knew him. This is a higly informative site you maintain. I appreciate reviewing it.
