I never had the honor of knowing Mr. Giberson, but I read the book "Firehouse" and learned a bit about him.
Something about the story of this larger-than-life hero has always stayed with me. May he and his brothers from Engine 40 Ladder 35 rest in eternal peace. |

Sorry about your lost. Iam a Fire fighter from jacksonville florida and we had a dedication to our fallen brothers on 9/11/06 for the five year annitverisry. We had well over 400 members of the JFRD show up along with the men and women of the United States armed forces show up.I was choosen to represent James Gibreson of Ladder 35 FDNY, to honor him for his brave courage that day five years ago. Didn't know him but i know he gave his all; that is all that you can do. Also wanted to say everything will be ok, and that he is home now. God Bless
Never Forget! |

I am a Fire Fighter in Alberta, Canada. The barbaric events of 9-11 seem distant, yet so close as I close my eyes and play back the video of the towers collapsing onto so many of my Brothers. I too will NEVER forget no matter what! I am humbled by the dedication of my Brothers as they performed their duties to save lives that were unsaveable and perish themselves in the process. I did not know a single one of you but when I saw you die I cried for you and prayed that all of you be carried home by the hand of our true and living God. May God bless your families, and your home. Revenge is mine says the Lord, so lets continue to serve those less fortunate the best way we know how and thank God for our freedom to choose forgiveness over hatred! |

I never knew you but I miss you, Jimmy. The job is still going and we're taking it directly to the enemy, where it belongs. We've killed and captured a lot of terrorists since. We're going in again. Rest in that peace, brother. |

Dear Ericka,
If you return to this site, please contact me. When your Father died in 911, I ordered dog tags and got one with his name on it. I wore it for 3 and a half years. I feel it is time you have it. If you will contact me, I will see you get it. I wore it with much pride. I also wore one for a NYPD Policeman named Thomas Langone. I have them both hanging here on my computer desk. I would love for you to have it. It will be very hard to part with, but I think it is something you would like to have. Much love to you and your family. I know its been hard for you hon. But he is a Angel now and he is watching over you always.
Thank you, please contact me at LHen1961@aol.com

There are some thing's that are just to hard to lt go in life, this is one of them. The time since 9-11-01 has passed but not the pain that was caused. For every move they made every step they have taken we will be missing them. The family and friends of all the Heroes of 9-11-01 are always in my heart and mind at all times. |
