| I've wanted a 1967 shelby GT for years now. Weve had a few
come to town in the car shows and I attend all of them. Last year there was a 68' and a 66' but not my 67'. I was so disappointed. I haven't been able to find any good pictures on or off line. I hope to find some here. I got the chance to help work on one at a shop a little ways down the street and I've never been the same since. I'll own one someday, but for now I'll continue to dream. |

You can be proud of as it appears to be an excellent example of the genre. I too have a 67 coupe which has, after 3 years, been completely restored as a restomod. Somehow, though, I never seem to be finished with it as it continues to soak up $$$. Let me hear from you sometime and we can compare cars and experiences. Best of Luck. |

| I have a '67 coupe and I am restomodding it. It is looking good. I have new rims (Chrome) nostalgic American Racing's on it. 235 15 in the back, 195 15 in the front both rated 60 series. Its eggshell blue but going. I am painting it a dark Ford Lazer Blue or a Dark Dodge Viper Blue the end of this summer. With the paint will come 2 white racing stripes over the newly chromed hood blinker indicaters. all chrome will be replaced or re-dipped. The deltailing of the Engine compartment will come at the end of the '99 year before I go to college, oh yeah I am 17 in Atlanta. Starting the rebuild on a 351W and would like to hear what you might have to say about switching the 289 out and bringing in the streeted Windsor. Of course I will change the C-4 tranny to the more beefier Tremec 5-speed or factory 3-speed. If you have any recomendations on where I could get these things for a lower than manufacturers price it would help me tremendously, b/c as you know this will take quite a bit of money and time!
Thanx for reading, Austin God Bless! Good luck on your cars!!!!! :-) |

Like the page, looks like you've put alot of hard work into it. My pony is a Porshe Red '66 coupe with a chromed out, self built 302 (with all the power goodies!). I have redone the car practically from the ground up, and it's been in many parades and shows. After next summer (and some more trick head work!) I plan on taking it to the Atlanta Dragway, as well as trying to get into a couple of magazines. Good luck with yours, it looks great! |
