Have been meaning to contact you for ages just to say thanks for the fantastic show you gave at Brighouse in October. It was absolutely brilliant. For me the highlights were hearing 'My One Desire', 'Pledge of a Fool', 'Little Orphan Girl', 'When' and hearing you do any Dion/Dion and the Belmonts song is always a treat. Also the Neil Sedaka medley was superb. As a big Neil Sedaka fan myself I don't think he gets the recognition he deserves and it was great to hear you do these songs. Although these were all great the best performance of all was of Elvis' 'C'mon Everybody'. It is a great song that isn't that well known but the way you three performed it was absolutely amazing. Also congratulations on the Doo Wop CD. I do have a slight preference for a lot of your doo wop songs like 'Such a Long Way' and 'So Wrong' and so this cd is fantastic for me. I particularly like 'Dance Girl' and 'Pledge of a Fool' as they are both excellent songs and I have never heard the originals so for me they are new songs. Hopefully the title 'Volume 1' means there is a follow up album to come. It also great to see a couple of dates in Scarborough and York in the summer which I am already looking forward to. Thanks again for your great music. |
