Wow - Neat Site. Here is another equine vacation hotlink that includes a free horse ride in the Shenandoah Valley. |

| Comments: | Ramsey Lake State Park is one of the nicest state parks around. I take my children camping there all of the time. |

| Comments: | Had many joyful camping and fishing week-ends and vacations
at Ramsey Lake, as a child in the 1950's with my parents. Born and raised in Decatur, it was a nice get away. Sure is great to see and hear about it on the Web. Now living in Connecticut, I don't get out that way any more. Thanks for the memories, Jim |

| Comments: | Ramsey Lake State Park is a great place and our family
visits often. We frequent the horse camp, the trails at Ramsey are great for all levels of riding. Our daughter is 4 years old and the trails at RLSP are great for her to learn on, and when she gets tired we take her to grandma's and dad and I continue on our ride on the more difficult sections of the trails. We would spend even more time at the horse camp if the facilities were maintained and improved. The last few times we visited the water hydrant wasn't working and it would be great if the horse camp could be upgraded to include electricity. I don't think the part staff and state official really know how many equestrians use the horse camp and trails, or I know they would be more interested in maintaining and improving. |
