webring. May I tell you, as a musician and song-writer of 30 years, (now in my 17th year teaching music), that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Shalacy's mp3 samples! I was very glad to read at your site that "I Wanna Be Yours" has been released as a single. It is a wonderful song, wonderfully performed by Shalacy, and the band sounds great! And the mix is perfect also. Many times with a child singer, you'll hear in their recording, a production so big that the young singer's voice is being drowned out by background singers, plus too many instruments joining in and effects on top of it all! I like to hear what the singer can do, and I enjoyed every note of the "I Wanna Be Yours" sample, as well as "The Melungeon Song". "Mama's Hills" is yet another great song, and also very well performed, despite that it had the sound, somewhat, of a demo, while the other two did not. I hope you can send me an address where I can buy Shalacy's singles by mail. (I'm in Pennsylvania.) I just love seeing a young singer do well.
