Think of our courts and the whole bases of our legal system. we have Written Laws which cases are presented and argued up on and theese laws play a great part in how the cases will be decided. Now tell me how you would feel if you were about to go before the court and you knew that your fate would not be decided by writtin laws , but by the speculitive opinions and how they Judge and lawyer just happend to feel things should go that day. Do you thing you would have a dogs chance of getting a fair sentence. maby you will argue you would be perfectly happy with such, but 98.3% of people feel we need writtion laws to even think you woyld have a fair chance. No No No to the Contrary we believe God gives us say endless Choices. The verse You mentioned in Exodus 4:21 is but one of many that is used by the preponents of the teaching of Predestination . The best way to clear this up is to read the whole issue and not snatch this verse or any other verse out of context,,,, see that is Satans continual trick to try to make the Bible say all kinds of things he uses the exact thing he has so strongly schooled into all theese Cults,,, what is that it is 1,,,2,,,3 1, Add to a verse,,,2 take away from a verse or 3, take the verse out of context,,,,,, #1 adding to is like the Mormons and J.W's do you show them a clear cut verse how salvation is not by Works and they say ,but,but,but it only means not by works on a tuesday when it is raining . NO sorry it means what it says Not By works. Or they will #2 take away,, they will say welll it says not by works , but in the original Greek or spanish the wotrd is travico(spanish) and this does not mean to not do any works it just means hard work. Yes yes yes yes yes I John Remley Hunt do believe in Eternal security. Several people have written and asked how do you feel some posts have been on your guest book which appear to not believe in it,,,,,,,, we though you believed in eternal security. well I do yes I do,, and as always any one is free to post counter views I do not censor a thing on here, I want to hear every ones view even if they don't believe as I do please write yes yes yes. The issue is an old argument called ARMENIANISM verses CALVINISM. The Armenian view that your Good works some how enter in or contribute to your salvation. And Calvanism exactly at the oppisite end of the spectrum teaching your works never enter into your salvation just like nothing you ever do will contribitute to helping your parents concieve you,, so just as you had absoluetly nothing to do with your first Birth Calvin ism also stands firm tha you have nothing to do with your seco=nd birth beyond doing as a little child and recieving the free gift of salvation. There are about 200 verses that appear to back Armeniasm and 400 that do back the Calvin istic position. So even there you have a 2 to one ratio. My position is if my Good works were not good enough to save me they sure are not any better at keeping me saved I put all my bets on Jesus Christ and rest all my cares with him. One thing I think the people who teach loss of Salvation should think about several yes several of the verses that they run to such as Hebrews 6:4,5,6 if you take there view and try to say this is a saved man who lost his eternal security or salvation, then you have to stick to the text it clearly says who ever this is loosing what ever that that is it ther remains no hope,,,, so if theese Armenians stick to there guns they had better not ever sin or mess up cause it says once you loose it it is gone !!! and there is no getting it back.
