| Comments: | Hi. I'm going to link your site. I have a small tribute to Aeris and Tifa on my site- though tribute isn't accurate, more like character analysis. Aeris is my favorite of the FF7 characters, although I didn't like how they tried to rip off Terra and Celes to make Aeris and Tifa. Not that I don't like Aeris, I just wish they'd developed her more- killing her off was wimpy.
Nonetheless, I think Aeris came off as a very spunky, independant character, and one of the stronger females in Final Fantasy. She's right up there, after Terra, Freya, Garnet, and Rydia. |

Now don't get me wrong you site is good.... for Cloeris fans. Sorry, but it doesn't interests me. Now don't get me wrong its not that I hate Aeris I mean she's okay, but I must admit there was something I didn't like about her. I mean I cried when she died. Plus if Aeris is so sweet and kind like you guys say she is she would want Cloud to move on with his life and end up with the other woman he loves which is Tifa. Including the fact that Aeris and Tifa were best friends. Plus if you saw the movie you could TELL in the end that Aeris wanted Cloud to move on with his life and that Cloud had finally let go of his past in the end. And for those who haven't watched the movie don't make something up that you think is true when you haven't even watched the movie yet to actually support your issue. I've seen the movie like a billion times and you have to admit to yourself Aeris's wasn't the only person Cloud was grieving over he was grieving over Zack as well so don't think its a big major Cloeris issue. The movie is basically about Family and moving on. And for those who called Tifa a slut or hore you can go to hell because as I see it Aeris was the one pressing herself onto Cloud in the game and rushing things with him. Like ex: The date when they just met, the fourtune telling from Caith Sith, and forcing him to do things with her if you don't believe me play the game again! As I know Tifa was more inncocent than Aeris could ever be. I mean God what do you have against Tifa do you actually see her selling her body off in the game, or movie? Just because she looks that way doesn't mean anything! It's not her fault. If you have an issue about her outfit blame the creators! One more thing ppl why must we fight over this issue all the time! Its still a damn love triangle! When Cloud is ready to choose he'll choose! Let us all wait until then and TRY to get along with each other! Geez its like a life and Death issue and I swear! I feel sorry for Cloud to actaully to go through all this hell it's not his fault he fell in love with 2 women... well actually it is, but still! Aeris is also referred to as "sister" by the children. Advent Children has a strong family theme both from the point of view of the heroes and of the villains; maybe she's just being included in the family. The wolf I'm not sure about. I've heard both that it's Zack (which I doubt) and that it signifies Cloud's guilt. |

| Comments: | Kadaj: PS:at the end of advent children, cloud calls aeris 'mother'. Why is this?
Few ideas: 1. He was confused. 2. He was asking for his mother, not addressing Aeris. 3. It's not unusual for Japanese or Asian couples to refer to eachother as 'mother' and 'father'. 4. He was implying that Aeris had been protecting him. I don't think Advent Children was overly Cloud x Tifa or Aeris x Zack. The only CxT moment I picked out was the end where Tifa smiled at Cloud, but that was fairly one-sided. If Aeris is interested in Zack, then that must also be one-sided because he tells her that she doesn't belong "here" (besides, I think that if AC had been AxZ then that would have been a big betrayal of Aeris' progressive character). I got some CxA vibes, particularly in the way that Cloud seemed to feel about Aeris, but overall I don't think Advent Children cleared up the whole "Love Triangle" at all, and I'm glad it didn't because it's a pivotal part of the storyline and Cloud's character development. Advent Children, like the game, is completely and utterly open to interpretation and it's unfair to focus exclusively on the love triangle as part of either when a lot of the story also exists outside of Cloud's love life (which was half a joke anyway, given Priscilla, Jessie and the guy in the Honybee Inn). |

| Comments: | First things first, I think your site is brill and I adore all the pink, although the text can be a little hard to read at times.
Secondly, I'm a Aeris and Cloud fan to the core, and the game developers were as well,otherwise a) why else would the original plot have involved the two of them getting together and b) anyone seen the end of Kingdom Hearts? That scene says it all. Thirdly, I was heart broken when I discovered Aeris died. I had to stop playing the game for a month untill I felt like playing again. Not only is her death pointless but it can be a serious pain to those players who have Aeris as their strongest fighter (a friend, without mentioning why, told me to get all of Aeris's limit breaks on the first disk before heading back to the Gold Saucer, meaning she and Cloud were at level 67 while the others were still in their twentys when she died). This means that I found it difficult to continue the game for a while because of the low strength of my team. Fourthly, Aeris's death is pointless! She supposedly dies to summon holy but its the lifestream that saves the day. What a waste. Anyways, couldn't someone use a Phoenix Down to revive her? If it's possible halfway through battle then you certainly can if a temple with no distractions!!!! Okay, I'll stop ranting now and go back to giving Vincent his back rub. |
