Comments:I am still a high school junior and I have already decided
that I want to go into the field of forensics. I am just
fascinated; I have been for some years, but it suddenly hit
me within the past half-year that that is what I want to go
into. I'm considering the fields of pathology and biology
within forensics, but am still undecided at this point. I
have enjoyed your site and commend you for your work. I
thank you for sharing your achievements and wish you luck
and continued popularity. from Lewisville, Texas

Comments:Mr. Cook,
You don't know me, but I felt I needed to write, to express
my and my company's gratitude for work you did, regarding a
situation we became involved in in Europe. I would also like
to hear you speak, should you ever be asked by the Army.

have much prefered it over the Nursing Profession. Thanks
you for you site and the enlightenment it brought.

Comments:I want to thank you for this page and want to know your up
coming speaking engagements? I'm retired and can get to
almost any destination with notice. I'd like to hear you in
person and on any subject you might be presenting. Thanks
again for this page and your most interesting career.

Comments:Just caught the first release of "The Bone Collector" with
Danzel Washington, on Video rental. Very chilling movie and
was wondering, from your point of view, how realistic the
forensics were in it! By the way, I wish you'd add a link
which would show where you'll be speaking, during the up
coming year and if it's an engagement where the general
public can attend. I'd like to hear your presentation.
Almost forgot, Colorado Springs, CO here.

Comments:Mr. Cook, this field has always amazed me and still does. I
also know that there are many different specialists in the
field of forensics and each one is very complex and not
fully understood or appreciated by the everyday person on
the street. I admire all the specialties and also the team
work involved in each case. I hope I have the opportunity
someday to hear you speak. Thank you for your informative
page.

Comments:Richard, I am impressed with your bio and somewhat envious,
because I have just been an Engineer all of my adult life.
People, like myself, can only look at what you have done and
wish it had been us. Thank you for sharing your life and
vocations with me. I shall keep my ears open to any
possibility for you to come and speak in our area, as I
would love to meet and hear your presentation and
experiences.

Comments:My how the years have passed since I met you when you were
attending the University of New Mexico. I never realized
your life had taken on so many different careers and
apparently quite successful. Don't forget your old friends
who knew you when you were only a young student.

Comments:Richard, Thank you for giving an old friend your time and
opinion on a case I know you didn't want to have any part
of. Your insights and thoughts were invaluable in helping
our government obtain a more concrete position on this most
sensitive issue. Again my friend, you're still greatly
appreciated in this field, even if you do say you're
retired!

Name: Sally Benson
E-mail address: Sbee@aol.com
Comments:Richard, you're probably sitting there scratching your head
right now, going who is this person. I was one of your
students, back in the 60's when you were teaching at the
Sandia Peak Ski School and racing for the University of New
Mexico Ski team. I never knew all of this about you, until
I happened to type your name into one of my search engines.
Congratulations on what appears to be a very interesting and
full life.

Comments:I just listened to a tape of your speech to the Worker's
Conpensation Boards of Canada.
I was impressed with points you brought out, which I hadn't
ever thought about. I wish you would have cited a few case
examples, but I heard a long pause after you asked for
questions. I regret I wasn't there, as I would have
probably kept you busy with questions for the next couple of
days! I thank you for your speech and my dear friend who
thought to send it to me!

Comments:Mr. Cook, you don't know me, but thanks to your recent
investigation into my mother's case, we have been
recontacted be her insurance company with an apology and a
settlement check with added compensation for our hardship
added.
I know this might seem unusual for you, but we felt that
maybe too often your work goes without the praise it
deserves. Again, Thank you!
