I am glad I have found a place to go to talk to other survivors. My father molested me and my mother covered it up and didn't get me help. When I started going to therapy as an adult because I had all that rage bottled up in me, I told my mom why I was going and she disowned me and my kids and didn't talk to me for months. She came back and I told her they both have to get therapy and they expected me to pay for everything and my father wanted to know if fingers were going to be pointed at him. He feels no remorse and my mom supports him. Therefore, I have had to cut ties with my family. I can't have my children around them when they think they've done nothing wrong. I am healing now it's hard especially when my daughter talks about my parents. I did the right thing I'm just trying to get past the anger, resentment and flashbacks. |

This site is very helpful, I am 18 years old, I live in Nova Scotia. I was adopted with my Biological sister, I was 4 she was 2. I was badly sexually and Physicaly abused by my birth family. I have DID with PTSD I was Diagnosed at the age of 16. I have gone though a lot of hard times since then but when I come to this site it takes some of the stress because I can talk and not feel misunderstood. I would like it if other people with DID who would like to email me to just talk I will be glad to talk. I know that there is not a lot of teens as the Main person because DID is mostly Diagnosed when your an adult but if there is any Teens out there I would be gald to give you advise or just talk to any of you. I am new, and wanted to join in and see the forums, but this site would not let me. What's up with that?...don't know. Tried a couple of chat rooms, which stated there are other people there, but no response. I am lostin this dark, dank place and no where to go, except inside the 'who's' of 'who' I am. hi im very new and very scared. i was dx mpd long ago. im back with my first dr now again. ive been through another trama and its caused worse damage than the ones previosly. im very scared but looking forward to meeting others who understand. this will be new for me. ive lost all those in my life who did understand. im not able to sit long periods at a time so if you see me please dont leave or think im not answering. if you make a noise and give me at most 15 minutes i promise to be back. im very scared being alone and being new. im looking forward to meeting everyone. ive met two kind and wonderful people already. thank you for giving me a chance to be somewhere , you dont know how much it means to me and mine. thank you all again, nobodys |
