The only facts that I have on this computer (just moved to Belgium and desktop is still in transit) I know that he was killed while plowing a field by a neighbor who was in disagreement with him.
My father Clarence Albert Perkins was born in Megargel, Texas on 23 August 1913. He had two brothers, William (Bill) Olen Perkins and Bert Perkins (he had a twin who died when born, Bertha); one sister Olga Perkins. I do not recall my grandfather's name but my grandmother's maiden name was Jo Benson Watts. I have been told all my life that after the Civil War, Zeno's mother had barrels of confederate money in the cellar of their plantation home in Georgia, I believe this was in the area of Moltry, Georgia. I am very interested in working on my family tree and meeting distant family members. |

May I suggest that you have a male family member DNA tested so that the Perkins Cordinator Steven Perkins in Houston, Tx can match us up and stop all this guessing. I had my 84 year old uncle tested and the results are stunning. The cost is not much and it will match us in the same bloodline. Good luck. |
