<br>Well here is the thing. Ever since I've given up all sexual pleasure I quit having OBEs. It seems to me that sexual energy is very closely related to kundalini energy that helps induce OBEs. Now although my OBEs have declined I feel an amazing sence of happyness and love that I did not feel as much as this before. I feel grounded in my divine-connection and feel safe and like I'm living right, even though I'm obviously far from living as right as I'd like to.

<br>All of my spiritual experiances now are very good. There are beings directly guiding me in my dreams and meditations and my experiances are very good alot because I know they are guiding me through them and protecting me from the harmful ones.

<br>hearing voices etc..)
<br>Well, what can I say? I generally do not see auras unless I'm already in the dreamworld. I get subtle impressions all the time. I guess I always have, but I'm really paying more attention to them now. Ghosts? hehe, my spirit-guides are always with me & guiding me. Sometimes I can hear them communicate if I'm half asleep.

<br>Not recently. I let the guides (the concourse) take care of that now. I just try to live right and what comes comes. I plan on having a great astral fun when I finally get married & can get this sexual and kundalini circulating between myself & my bride, but intill then I'm like a dormant volcano just a rumbling. -oh, but I understand such things are taboo to talk about so i'm sorry if anyone is offended by that. I hope it will be helpful to some aspiring mystic who chooses the path of self-restraint and celibacy until marriage.

<br>hrm.. I havent fasted for weeks at a time in a long time, but I did a fast where I drank at night & abstained from drink in the day for a while and that did not really enhance my psycic experiances as much as it enhanced my ability to maintain self-control.

<br>Ultimately it helps the quality of the experiance & I'm not talking about the quality of vision or the quality of control, but the spiritual level of the very reality itself that is being experianced. the higher levels. That connection to the highest level feels stronger by living right. This is very important. By limiting my selfish desires and conforming my life and thoughts to God's way I have found myself in higher worlds that I do not ever remember being in before. These places are .. unspeakable, but I'll tell you I feel very very dirty, and sick being there because I am so far from being as good and pure as I am trying to be, I'm so full of selfishness and it makes me feel quite discusted with myself, but the amazing warmth is like nothing else every, its the strongest love ever.

<br>would believe some of them. I started off with the
<br>vibrations, etc but now they arrive without warning. All I
<br>know is that I am usually extremely tired before the
<br>experience and completely refreshed afterwards even though
<br>less than 30mins has passed. During one oobe I was in a
<br>subway tunnel once that is one block from where I used to
<br>live. A light shone behind me and my shadow was outlined on
<br>the wall in front of me. My shadow was hovering and it

It would happen at times when I had no intentions of doing it, and at first was not consious, but recognized it by the paralizing feeling and vibrations just before hand. I have now however, experimented on many occasions on my own to project willfully, and fully consious. I have been successful at this about 10 times or so, but once "out" have not been able to cover any great distance travel wise. I also still have spontaneous projection, which seems to happen more frequently than my willed experiments. Since I want to meet up in the astral realm with other travellers, I would appreciate any hints that might help me out on the control issue. I almost ALWAYS get to the point of feeling paralized and have the vibrations, and feel like I'm falling, get the low pitched droning sound in my ears, but then most of the time before I'm actually out it ceases. <br>always been fascinated with the paranormal and had quite a
<br>few psychic experiences as a child. For a long time as a
<br>child (4-10 years old) I would feel the tingling sensation
<br>and become paralyzed about once or twice a month. I didn't
<br>know then that this was the first step before leaving my
<br>body. I would always fight it off, which was difficult
<br>when paralyzed. I thought that I was dying or something
<br>horrible was happening. I asked my brother and mom if they
<br>ever felt this, and they said no, so I never asked again.
<br>Years later after reading a couple psychic books, I found
<br>out that the tingling sensation and the paralysis was the
<br>beginning of an oobe. I hadn't felt the sensation often
<br>after about age 10, but now that I knew what it was, I was
<br>determined to project. So, I got a couple books on the
<br>subject and read them, did the exercises and what not and
<br>nothing happened. Then a couple months after I quit with
<br>the books, I had my first, (and to date, only) out of body
<br>experience. I was 17 years old and doing homework really
<br>late. I told myself that I was going to take only a five
<br>minute nap. So, I laid back and the next thing I knew I was
<br>paralyzed and started feeling the tingling sensation in my
<br>solar plexus. I let it continue until my whole body was
<br>tingling. Then I blacked out for a split second and next
<br>thing I knew I was hovering above my body, fully
<br>conscious. I was aware of my body, and where I was a few
<br>feet above it, but I was more aware of my astral self. I
<br>was really calm and had no fear once I was out. I had one
<br>question that kept repeating in my mind: "What do I look
<br>like outside my body?". After thinking about this for a
<br>little bit, I saw my astral self from another point of
<br>view. I was a ball of white/blue light, about the size of
<br>a grapefruit, just hovering in mid-air. I was still aware
<br>of my body and wanted to see my astral self through my
<br>body's eyes, and started to open my eyelids (they were like
<br>the only thing not paralyzed). Suddenly I was back in my
<br>body, it was a real shock, like I just got the wind knocked
<br>out of me a little bit. Well, since then, I've been trying
<br>to get out again without much luck. I've had some lucid
<br>dreams, but no more oobes YET. I will though. I'm very
<br>determined to project again. I'm hoping that knowing
<br>somebody is expecting to see me "out there" will help me to
<br>get out. Hopefully, eventually, I'll have a lot to
<br>contribute to the success part of this site. Guess I'll

<br>I have not had any personal experiences of OBE or LD, but I
<br>have read a bit on both subjects. I have lurked around the
<br>OBE newsgroup for some time now, and I would like to attempt
<br>to participate in this 8 Aug trip. Bart has asked me to be
<br>his partner for this trip. I think it is good that you
<br>welcome participants of all abilities to attempt these
<br>experiments, even complete beginners.

<br>experience of floating about 4ft above myself whilst
<br>discussing the nature of life, the soul's path through it
<br>and the interplay between predetermination and free-will.
<br>Just for a moment I could feel in emotion and subconscious
<br>pictures the whole of life, form the smallest particle,
<br>through atoms, to molecules, to people and animals, planets
<br>and galaxies to the universe itself as a complete whole.
<br>each level was mirrored and repeated throughout on all
<br>scales. Just for a moment I stepped beyond time and space
<br>and then came back down with a thud!
<br>
<br>I know that AP can be done, but I cannot direct it, or fall
<br>asleep in the process. Maybe with a group things could
<br>start to happen for real. Please help me to try,
<br>
