Just found my way here from one of your ads.
Read the last chapter in reverse and was only mildly confused, but greatly interested. So I've decided to start from the beginning. And I've noticed one thing already - in the last line on pg 3, "remember's" doesn't need an apostrophe. You got "it's" right, though, which is one most people have a problem with...

Hi, I love your comic!

I have a feeling that you're the Crystal that child_dragon used to write about a loooong long time ago on Neopets.

If you are, then the Internet is way smaller than I thought it was.

Hi, I just discovered your comic yesterday and read it through - I couldn't help it! The first thing that struck me (strangely enough) were the mouths. You have an amazing talent for faces, nevermind the costuming and backgrounds, but the thing that definitely struck me the most was your ability to get the proper expression in lips and mouths. Your drawing talent coupled with an intriguing story has me in for the long-haul! Thanks so much for sharing your talent! ~ Q

seriously, though. what's up with daian's face in panel 1, page 211? is that his mouth, the overly long white strip? it looks like the false hinged mouth of a wooden doll...the art is so good in general i can't quite grasp what's going on there. is it an oversight or am i imagining things?

hannah recommends some good comics, but i do not read HERO. looked for it, couldn't find it - link please? hannah, you are sorely missing out on wayfarer's moon - and regularly updated. right up there with lint, phoenix req and catalyst. feywinds is also very good, but the plot is not moving along lately. once/week updates means side stories take you way off track and each page must be written to precision from the get-go - again, i'd recommend to comic creators to take a lesson from the shadowgirls creators - their art is actually not my favorite, though it's very good - but it's the best written comic in the genre online right now bar none. i love nicole's art, though - i think her thing is she focuses on video games more than fantasy lit or webcomics, which limits her story. same problem with garanos, the author doesn't read fantasy, so her own is littered with plot holes, poor character development, etc. - it is a rare combination that the same person should write and illustrate the story - since webcomics are generally one-person operations with zero profit, they suffer from either poor writing or poor illustration. i think crystal's doing pretty well, but i would call colby purcell the master in the fantasy webcomic genre, followed up by ellerton.

Heya! I've actually been following the comic for awhile, but right I just wanted to tell you...

You have an incredible talent for drawing, writing and story-making. I'm sure if you had critics they would find some nit-picky excuse to say you're horrible. You're not. You're awesome, and I hope you never stop taking joy in using this talent to entertain yourself and others.

My, I like your style of drawing. I don't know why, but it reminds me of some good old comics in my country... And I really love the story - especially Elei and her determination, but all characters are charming. I can't wait for the updates... And I hope that the story is meant to be long :-)

Both Kai and Elei look very graceful and wonderfully vulnerable. I like your style of drawing hair. I think the foxes looked too cartoon-ish, and not nearly "wild" enough. My only complaint is the lack of updates, though you should work at your own pace, of course! Your writing and storytelling are superb. Keep up the good work! Thx ;-)

Just finished the Prologue, and am seriously IMPRESSED with both your artwork and your story-atmosphere-thus-far.

Hey there! You never told me you drew comics!? Its cool! And the plot is far from cliche. Just a comment bout drawing. Its nice and all already but if you could just draw them in more DETAIL. The folding of the cloths, face lines, hair, wood, metal, all in as much detail as possible, it would bring more depth to your artwork. Less details just makes it more towards the manga style, japanese looking type of art. Not that its bad. Just a suggest and comment. Like it nonetheless.

Cheers!
