I enjoyed your recent appearance on ATWT.I don't understand why that show has not signed you to a contract.That was the only time this year I watched ATWT.I have basically given up on soaps since the cancellation of AW.I understand that many other AW viewers have stopped watching soaps as well.I also do not understand why OLTL does't bring you back as"Marcello Salta". After all,if they can bring back "Rae" in a major way,there is no logical reason why your character cannot come back as well.Were you to be signed to a contract to OLTL,I would watch that show everyday.That is the only thing that would get me to return to soaps as a regular viewer.Soaps have nothing to offer me right now.It was great to see you at the recent AW reunion in NYC.I hope to see you back on TV very soon! |

on AW for all those years. Being a Montrealer, loved it when you'd address fans in French. French folks here really get a charge when non-Quebecers speak the language. Hope your boys still watch the Boston Bruins Hockey Club; I follow the Montreal Canadiens ... my nephew, Karl Dykhuis, plays with them. In 1992 when you were in Montreal with Alice Barrett, I gave you one of Karl's "Score" rookie hockey cards. Also loved the AW Fundraisers that we had in Montreal. Best to you and to all the cast of AW. Too bad for AW fans, especially those like me who watched only one soap. Now daytime TV is Nowhere Land for me. NBC is no longer welcome on my in my home since they cancelled Homicide -- Life on the Street (May 25/99) and then hammered the final nail in the coffin on June 25/99 when fans had to say goodbye to Another World. Miss AW very much. |

not been able to get Another World back on the air. I have been watching As The World Turns to see you and Jake but they have not been giving you any air time. I enjoy seeing Jake but I am furious that they appear to be writing Vicky out of the show. I sure wish some other station or network would bring back Another World. It was and will always be a far superior soap than what is currently on the air. I only watched Days of Our Lives and Another World and AW was far superior than DOOL. They have gotten so rediculous that I am getting fed up with the show. Especially how they age the kids. I have been watch ATWT. The writing is almost like AW but I can not get really interested in any of the characters. Not like AW. ATWT is missing the boat when they leave you and Lila on the back burner. I thought for sure you would have gotten a bigger role for the trial of Margo. You play the lawyer role better than Tom. I wish I could find more out about the latest actions being taken to save AW. seem the same. I've watched it from day 1 and miss all of the characters so much. Cass was always one of my favorites. The humor he brought to the show was so enjoyable in what was sometimes a very unenjoyable day in my life. I loved the storylines with Cass and Felicia, Cass and Frankie, and Cass and Lila, but the ones I think I enjoyed the most were the storylines with Cass and Cecile. He was so funny with Wally and also with Charlie the tuna. When I hear his beautiful voice on a commercial that runs on our station every once in awhile I can imagine his face again. I still don't understand why Another World was cancelled. It broke my heart watching and taping the last show I knew I'd ever see of my favorite soap of all time. |

messages. I just wanted to say how much I miss AW. I started watching the show when I was 16 yrs old (all 30 years of AW) and even though I worked and could only catch the show on sick days, holidays, etc., throughout the years I always managed to keep up with what was going on. I have never written to any TV personality or show about anything but I wanted you to know how much I enjoyed watching you play Cass over the years. Dressed up in drag at the restaurant with Nicole, the wonderful relationship of Cass and Felicia over the years (and their love for Wally) and I especially enjoyed watching the romance develop with Lila who certainly was a great counterpart for Cass' character. That relationship had a lot of potential for sure. I miss all of the characters and actors who played them. I hope everyone is doing well these days.
