Comments:Probably my favourite cartoon as a kid. Someone put the episodes up on youtube and it is strange but wonderful feeling to watch them again. I think the cartoons that kids watch today are not a patch onto the likes of Galaxy High. The storyline, music and humour are great. The characters are very likeable, especialy Doyle, Aimee, the creep and even Beef! I always thought Aimee very prtty cute; I liked the fairly inocent chemistry betyween Doyle and Aimee. Ah, the good old days...
Thanks for the website, especially the interviews.
Savour the memories, people!

Comments:Hey! Nice page! I was going to make one of my own for Galaxy High but it fell thru years ago. It was fun reading this. I remember my family renting the VHS with the first three eps and Beach Blanket Blowup. A couple years ago, I thought it would be a blast to watch it again because it was so fuzzy in my memory. To my dismay we'd taped over our copy and the one VHS release was incredibly rare. Finally tracked down some copies and enjoyed watching the WHOLE 13 eps.

I nearly fell over when I saw the DVDs at Best Buy. I never figured they'd get released, I snatched a copy immediately!

Comments:I was actually kinda old when this originally came out (23), but I spotted a quality cartoon when I saw it. I bought the DVD and will try it out on my kids and see if they like it. Good stuff.

Comments:Galaxy High totally rocks! I love this show! Of the girl characters, Aimee was my favorite, and for reasons I'm still not sure of, Beef was my favorite guy character. I also love the whole concept of "style shopping".

Comments:I loved this show when I was a kid. I used to watch it on channel 2 CBS back in NY. Funny thing is alot of my fellow friends dont remember this show, but for me it was a stand out. I will never forget the line:

"I love it, I love it, I love it!!"

Comments:I was so surprised to see Galaxy High on DVD at the store the other day, so I bought them both. So many memories. Watching them again, I seriously dig the show! I didn't remember much as a child except for the fact that I watched it and that I liked it. But as I watch them as an adult I can't help but feel this was a really really great show. It was weak in a few places but if it had real heart, it had a real memorable atmosphere, and I'm really getting into the whole universe of the show. It's rare that shows really grab me like that. At any rate, at some point in the future I'd love to do a fan-flash cartoon or fan-game of the show. I'd love to see a sequel and I have some ideas for that too.

Comments:Thanks for such a comprehensive site, about one of my favorite (almost-forgotten) cartoons. Thank goodness that the DVDs are out now - my tapes were getting really worn! Keep up the great work on the site - I'm happy that you keep updating, even 20 years after the show was on the air.

Comments:I used to love this show! I remember it being shown on TV on Saturday mornings in the UK in the late 80s and early 90s

It has to be one of the most underrated cartoons ever, none of my friends can remember it. I can't believe its coming out on DVD! I'll defintiely be buying it

Great site

Comments:I wish I remembered more about the show-- at this point, the only line I remember is "I'm Booey. Bubblehead. I don't believe we've met?"

I grew up to be a tremendous fan of John Kricfalusi's work, though, and now I'm terribly eager to own it for myself. Huzzah for DVD technology! Huzzah for the groups that pick up old shows to release, thinking someone out there must want them-- because someone does!

Comments:"I love it, I love IT!"

So glad that the DVDs are coming out. This show was brilliant and really funny too. It was like a predecessor to Futurama almost!

All it needed was more episodes. Could this happen?!?! Stranger things have.

Comments:Ahhh...the good 'ol days. The days of mecha, Knowing is half the battle, and watching cartoons all day and night. Orbots, Robotech, Transformers, and GALAXY HIGH. I was in Heaven. Galaxy High was always at the perfect time of day, too. Grab the cold pizza in the fridge, plop myself in front of the TV and get lost in space, Galaxy High space. What a great show. It truly was ahead of its time, like most shows in the 80s. These are the ones that just stick with you forever. I remember having 3 shows on VHS. I treasured that video tape for years and watched it whenever I could. It was always best to let some time pass. Then watch it in the afternoon. I would do that whenever I would go to Golden Aplle Comics on Melrose Blvd., in Southern California. I'd get back to my place, it was a good sunny day that always reminded me of that sunny Saturday when I was a kid watching Galaxy High, as well as other shows. It was enough to inspire me. I chose a futuristic setting and a style cartoony of my own style to make my Senior thesis film when I was in college. I love the sci-fi future of things, like GHS. I goota say, I got an "A". It was worth it to watch Galaxy High. Thank you John Columbus and company. From one animator to another- artist, director, producer, character designer, etc., etc.,.. You guys really made something that is all HEART. I love it!!! and I cant wait to see it on DVD. It is a funny thing that some of the lingo I actually use in my everyday talk, soetimes it happens. "I love it!!!" or I'll go "Cakalac" just outta the blue. I hope there could be character design drawings on the special features stuff, but what ever winds up, I am sure to enjoy it. All my Best...and thanks again for this opportunity. Come on June!!!
