I have recently started traveling down Trinity and I seen your garden so I was telling my boss about it and I told him when I pass it that it just stands out to me and at first I thought it was a business selling crosses but then as I drove by it more I just feel a certain peace that I can't explain. Due to the area I have never just pulled over fearing I would cause an accident but now that I have reviewed your website I can understand the feeling I feel when I pass it. | Comments: | My Aunt took me to visit the Garden last Friday, May 9,2009. I loved knowing that someone has taken the time to creat a memorial for these oned loves. It was nice to see the Yates children honored. I was a little disappointed though when I was looking at pictures on the website. The Garden looks abondoned now and all the beautiful landscaping and the gazebo are gone. I hope this place of peace and rememberance has not been forgotten. |

| Comments: | I had a couison who at the age of 12 was talken into the woods by his best friend's 18 year old brother and sodomized, beaten to death which lasted several hours, and his body was then sodomized again. To be able to have gone to something like the "Gardens" and seen that our family wss not alone would have helped in the healing. I hate to see all of this tragedy but with the "Gardens" these beauiful people are be remembered even by those they never met. |

We visited her gravesite this weekend as we do frequently and could only think about what Raven would have liked to have been doing - jet skiing at the lake, playing basketball like she loved to do so much...we know you really can't think of the "what-if's" there are times when it just seems unavoidable. There is no word to fully express it, if anything--a Haven for Sorrow-weary loved ones to remember their angels. We lost our precious ex-daughter-in-law this year to a murder or murderers, her name is Tammy Kay Cochran Hopper, you may see her on findagrave.com, her killers have never been apprehended. she was strangled, her body set afire and left in a ditch. She was leading a troubled life at the time, but she did not deserve this, she was a sweetheart who found herself led astray and paid the ultimate price. Maybe we can remember her best through the Garden Of Angels. Thank you. |

| Comments: | I am a member of Bikers Against Child Abuse in Wichita Falls, TX. We were there during the Texas Crime Victims Conference and the dedication ceremony several years ago. The story and the garden are just as moving today as they were then.

Her father and the man who nearly killed me as well is finally done with the trial! It was not as quick or as much time as i had hoped but I will take 30 years. it does not bring back my precious angel, but at least her death is bringing purpose. | Comments: | My grandson Chase Lee Chamberlain was murdered December 29th, 2005. He was my sons only child. Chase was beat to death after evident daily beatings. The man charged with his murder has been with capitol murder and I PRAY that justice will be served. I have had to choose to let GOD and the system serve up justice. After Chase was murdered, my sister Terry Lecroy found out about Our Garden of Angels and had a cross erected i his honor, well, on July 8, 2007, Terry passed away from brain cancer and can now join Chase in heaven..... I am very grateful to have a place such as the garden to go and remember Chase and a life that ended far too soon. He is in my heart each and everyday. I thank my sister for the loving gesture of the cross and all who make the garden of angels possible. It's a shame that people have to leave this earth too soon but it is VERY GOOD to have the garden to ease the pain abit. I want to give special thanks to Greg Price, JoAnn Meriweather, Southwest Transplant Alliance,Benjy Rhodes, Tonya McDonald and JoAnn Starkey. It is wonderful to have such a great support system. The garden to me is so very special as my son is buried in Iowa and I had no place to visit with him. The garden has provided me a place to process, grief, reflect and meet wonderful people who know how I feel. Andrew's cross was #106 and I just want to express my deepest gratitude to all that gave so much of themselves to make this possible.
When I later made a visit out there I realized that it is not only a wonderful place for me to visit Andrew, but apparently a nice place for all his friends to visit and feel close to him. This was apparent when I noticed all the flowers and candles that had not been there at the time of dedication. It is so serene out there.Thanks to all of you! |

Our hearts are broken and will never be the same since the death of my sister.The reality of all of this seems to have finally sunk in after all of these years. It is so terribly sad that one person can change the lives of so many by committing such a selfish act of violence. My sister has missed so much. She has missed being an Aunt to my children, one of which she never got to meet.It breaks my heart to see my children growing up without her. I will never get to be an Aunt to her children because she didn't get the chance to have any. The sadness this has caused my mother is unexplainable. Our entire family has been affected by one person who was too cowardly to stand up and take punishment for what he had done and instead took his own life. We will one day see her again and that is what keeps us going. We love you Hillary and miss you everyday.

| Comments: | Well, it has been a long time now... 9 years and one month since that day. It was only three nights before when I had my last conversation with Amy. We were planning on getting together the next weekend to go "tend to some business". Anyway, I remember the devastation that this ordeal has put on everyone, including myself.
Well, I will say to the entire family, and even friends of Amy, whether I knew you or not, that I am truly sad when I think of the choices that I myself have made that could have effected this.
