| Comments: | Outstanding site! Thanks for all the info and links. I'm a 37 yr old Security Forces (Used to be called Security Police) Squad Leader. I was stationed at RAF Chicksands, England from Apr 83 to Apr 85. I really miss the UK, great times and fond memories. I was priviliged to work with the RAF Regiment when the first nukes were being deployed at RAF Greenham Common in late 83. I learned alot from you guys, you set the standard for Air Base Defence in my book. Presently I'm in the Wyoming Air National Guard, 153rd SFS and have been on active duty since the attacks on the 11th of September. Most of our unit has already deployed and we're now just waiting for the other shoe to drop and find out where we're going. I've got soem pics of Greenham Common, Gawd I hated the GAMA site too!!!, but none of anybody in the Regiment. Keep up the good work. |

| Comments: | Hi there to all rocks, been reading some of the leters & it would appear that everyonew is interested in the 60th. Don'y thnk it will be anything like the 50th but there you go, was plenty of free ale that day if me memory serves me right, mind you from an old & I mean old Rock the memory does tend to fade. There is a couple of events to mark the 60th though. One is at the National Arborteum at a place called Alrewas, down near Litchfield, that takes place on the 1st Feb (Friday) 2002 "kick off 1000hrs, QCS & band in attendance. Then on the 3rd Feb (Sunday) there is another memorial service at Peterborough in the Garden of Peace, Central Park Broadway, Peterborough,"kick off" 1300hrs, where a memorial stone has been laid by the lads from the Cambridgeshire branch of the Association. Would love to see some more names on the webpage & if anyone is interested in sending photo's contact me on email & I will send my "snail mail" address, the more the merrier.
