Your news I don't only admire, but its opens up a river of encouragement within me that I can reach the mark. I am a person with a global interest to the call and i believe, all things are possible. I am dangerously software inclined and believe in where Info..Tech.. will take my great country Nigeria To. It 's a nice and great privilege meeting someone like you who is a great representative of Nigeria in the global world ( i crave to be one)i know that the hieght at which great men reach and are kept can not be achieved by a sudden flight. I admire your person and simplicity exemplified in all your achievements and believe for you that this is just the tip of an ice berg. Trust God and have faith that even the seemingly great challenges will bow in front you.Sincerely, i would want to meet you, in one way or the other, cos i know there is a way you can impact my life and those of others here in FUTA. so very good to learn about your story. Nigeria has much promise and that comes from young men like yourself.
Please Check out N-computing Thin Client servers. I am from Canada and was probably the first person to bring this new tech to Nigeria. The leap in ICT for Nigeria can come in a very green way with the South Korean Made system that is be rapidly adopted in places like Brazil, America, South Africa,
and India. From 3 to 30 users per desktop computer with the same AC power usage. In multi computer environments like Schools, Contact centres and Offices this could give Nigerians great advantages

http://www.myyoungsoul.com/main Good day, Mr. Gbenga Sesan. Greetings from Ife students to their spectacular alumnus; greetings from our IT company whom you gave several advice some time back on web design and webhosting; greetings from your friends, Tokunbo Daramola and Ayo Dolapo.

We understand that if anyone should know the ICT trend in Nigeria, it should be you. This is why we are posing this question to you and no other. We have heard of MTN school connect, and several companies promoting e-learning in our secondary schools as their corporate responsibility. Our company however is in the business of providing ICT tools tailored to fit our schools (for a fee, of course).

Do your think such a business can be viable? and in what areas can such a company branch into that will make it profitable and indispensable? Are our schools ready to accomodate IT in their curicullum and deliver this curicullum on an IT platform?

Also, I suppose you must have heard of Nichola Negroponte of MIT's $100 laptops for developing nations. Does it seem feasible in the Nigerian context? Is it ever going to work and when?

We'll be grateful to hear some advice and opinion from an expert like you.

Thanks.

Dear Gbenga,

Coming across your site and your work has been very inspirational! Not only kudos to you, but the example you show, in humility, is admirable.
For as long as I can remember I've harboured 'thoughts and ideas' for impacting Nigeria on a micro level, and who knows, even macro Nigeria. Though I don't live in Nigeria (I live in the Netherlands), I've begun to make the effort to 'begin' finally with my activities in social entrepreneurship. One thing I know is that there are partners in Nigeria and the promise of the new generation will come from within - obeying Nigeria's call! I feel the same applies to those presently outside the country.
Like you, my field is also capacity building, particularly labour market development, knowledge sharing, skills and training.

I'll keep abreast of your activities, and if the opportunity should ever present itself, inform you of my escapades in Nigeria, starting with a trip upcoming September for orientation and research.

Yours sincerely,
Elizabeth Ibidun Fanoiki

It's like hallowing to me, that know that you never at anytime stop the good work you have been doing ... I really must say that good people like you deserves good gifts from God. Well am really concerned on the actuall fact , which is many young writers, in this nation with abilities of writting different works of writting aren't opportuned to do so. Though i know you are doing all you can to promote the youth. Please since you are more a voice for we the youth up front there , help us stress the need for writting compettions and programmes across the country , especially in states like Ondo state, Oyo State, Osun State and many other states... Thanks God bless.

stellagolda@yahoo.com
hello,
I am Adeniyi Omolara,a student of OAU.I read about you and your work in sucess digest and also your interviewed in yesterday's Guardian Life.I was impressed with your passion and vision on ict projects and empowering the Nigerian youths in diaspora.Iwas endeared to your story about making cool money on the internet when yuo used my childhood friend now in UK by the name Gbenga Aijotan as an example of people making money trrough the internet.
You have done well representing Nigeria in various organizations home and abroad.I was impressed when you said you were invited to UN metting,it made me to believe more in the Nigerian youths. You really need to see my dad yesterday when he was reading the interview excerpts inLife.he was really impressed wiyh the way you answered the questions intelligently and pray that the lord who is abundant in wisdom will give you more wisdom.
When i entered OAU although i wanted Medicine but got Zoology,i was dissapionted because that has always been my dream but when i read about this guy in UK -Akanimo Odon ,who came out with a first clas inZoology and got the British council INTERNATIONAL prize ,i was encouraged. Also, many people do say Lara you have a flair for writing ,you read novels ,you like debating on various issues aren't you suppose to be in Arts dept. but from you and Akanimo i have learnt that pursuing yopur dreams doesn't say you should bury your God givan talents afterall professsion doesn't make a man ,who knows when opportunities will come but one must always be prepared to grab opportunities when it come ,since then i have decided to keep equipping myself with a lot of information and building up myself for many opportunities ahead of me not minding the fact that i live in Ilesa in Osun state and not Lagos or Abuja.
I have come into realiation that there are a lot of talented youths in Nigeria gut many of them could't hold on to there dream long enough, maybe due to certain factors such as poverty, lack of information, survival and so on.Please in any of your public speakings do hammer on the need for youths to hold on to theior dreams,no two persons are he same ,someone out tere is need of thier talents.
I would be pleased if you can link me up with an oranization basically fopr youths empowerment in which i can participate via e-mails and be there in person periodically .I have a flair for writing and like to speak on issues pertaining to youths.
LOOKING forward to your reply to my yahoo mail adress at stellagolda@yahoo.com.
THANKS.

http://www.olamideayeni.blog.co.uk Gbenga Sesan, that name rings a bell. Frankly speaking, if not for the get-together organised by IRETI ADESIDA of YOUTH ONLINE NETWORK in AKURE ONDO STATE of which i was opportuned to be present, i wont know you. Myself,a 400level student of Computer Engineering from LAUTECH taught the ovation they gave you that day before you appeared at the venue was just too much. Little did i know that i will still join them to preach your gospel. I saw humility with class the day i saw you. I saw a focused and well-brought up lad the day i saw you. I respect your vision, mission and courage. Keep moving ahead and don't allow the wordly inclination cloudy your sense of thinking."the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all." It's well with you. We are proud of you.

Hi Gbenga,
I heard you speak In CC yesterday and have helped open a new horizon in my thinking. I would be graduating next month and I have 2 professional dreams. 1st to own an oil servicing company latest 2years from now. I am now starting to acquire skills and buy books that may be relevant but I need your support. 2nd I would like to have Nigeria's first Indeginous automobile Company 6-8 years from now and I even have the brand name already with me. I havent started work on it yet but like you said yesterday that what you wanted to do in the next 2years you just got a contract to do it even now and that you are getting a good pay.
what are your take and view or even support on these 2 far reaching industry.
Thank you. My phone number is 08034371401.
