Seeing it was almost as good as a visit! Great job! Can you believe we are going to have a caboose-maybe even a Y2k baby! The actual due date is Dec. 29, but I'm usually 2.3 days late. I'll be 45 when this baby is born! I've given away most all of my baby things, except we were saving the crib for grandchildren! We are excited, just a little shocked! Everyone is fine. Jim is working alot of overtime, but at least he gets paid for it! Home school keeps us really busy, and the kids are doing well in that. Jim's sister is an engineer, and moved here about a year ago to teach the kids Math and Science. That takes a huge load off of me. Jonathan got four teeth pulled this morning so that he can have braces put on next week. Carol gets hers off in July. Our dentist says the first six kids will need them, so two down and four to go! And who knows about the last two kids! Jim has a great big garden, and I have lots of herbs and flowers. Sarah, who is 12 now has a beautiful flower garden of her own. She also helps me weed. We love our house and almost an acre. Our goal is to get it fenced this year. I miss that Cajun food! Jim bought me some shrimp last week, and was it ever good boiled! little while. Yes, I am a "Yankee," I live in NORTH CENTRAL
LOUISIANA, but I hope you will forgive me anyway, cause my
"bestest" Web Sister in the world lives on the bayou, almost
to the gulf, so maybe that will help qualify me as a "little
bit" cajun. (She is the one who has put my page together
for me as my Christmas gift!!!!) About being from
Louisiana.....It's sooooo funny....my American net friends
from other states learn that I'm from Louisiana, and they
say, "Oh yea, I'VE BEEN TO NEW ORLEAN!!" (And here I am, 6
hours NORTH!! Poor, poor N. Louisiana kinda gets

Mississippi and E. Texas, I guess--- LOL) Well, I am a
piano player, too...a musician by trade, actually...so I

must admit that there has been at least one time in your life that something extraordinary happened to you and you have no way of explaining it. Is it luck that you attribute that to or perhaps was it someone looking over you? I heard someone once say that there is no such thing as "luck". Luck is chance and chance is something that just happens without any cause or purpose or meaning at all behind it. However most of us believe that everything that happens has a purpose, a meaning and perhaps should be referred to as a miracle even. Believer's understand this concept as the One that is greater than us working within our lives. Most people don't understand the power behind what we think and say, but there is true power in prayer and belief. Next time something happens to you and you think "wow, that was lucky!" instead thank the forces that helped it come to pass for you, for it wasn't mere luck.
