Comments:Hi, I don't go to BGSU. I'm still a senior in high school. I stumbled on to this site one day when i was online a couple of weeks ago. I just wanted to express the joy i feel after finding information on the gay community; and so close to me no less! (i live in one of the more rural areas of nw ohio, and finding other gay people to talk with is practically a pipe dream. Your site makes me more and more excited to get to college, so I can be with my own kind. Thanks again!!

Comments: Good job,
but here is a correction. Walt Whitman did
not write
the poem commonly refered to as "two roads
diverged
in a yellow wood", Robert Frost did. Although you
are
correct in listing Walt as a homosexual I think the
poems that
would be most effective in "outing" him if you
will, is
"Calamus", or "Out of the Cradle Gently Rocking"
where a
fairly descriptive love scene with a male friend is
described.
The sexual orientation of Robert Frost is left
to
speculation, although it is well known that he was
unhappily
married and prone to bouts of domestic violence
so perhaps
your reading of his poem is correct. Despite
this
correction I think you are doing a great service to
our
student body, keep up the good work.

Comments:Hi everyone! Here I am signing my own guestbook. Special
thanks to all who have surfed in and been to this website.
Jess : I had a chance to correct the list. Thank you! I've
been getting a few e-mails about who wrote 'two roads
diverged in a yellow wood'. I am convienced no one (including
me :) ) knows his or her poetry anymore. Anywho I moved
Mr. Frost to the 'we may never know' section and added Walt.
Thank you again! Take care * web maintainer Geoff
