| Comments: | Thank you all for the prayers on this Guestbook, and for understanding the meaning of the music and the spirit and how much it has helped me through these very dark days, it has been nothing short of amazing.
You are the best group of friends anyone could ask for. I know if I didn't have the music to help me drive into the hospital and cry so many tears in the darkness of the lonely road and alone time I probably would have lost my mind. Isn't it amazing how the music can just fit so many spaces in our lives? And to share it all with you is just incredible. We are bound together by the music and the spirit, yet it is so much more. We are a special group of people with so many talents and so much good to offer. But especially the love...love is powerful. Love is the reason. Love is the answer. Love is in knowing just what to do and what to say. You all have shown me that in so many wonderful ways and I thank you so very much. Tom is very close to being completely healed and while we still have no answers as to why this all happened, I know I come away from it knowing maybe the reason is just to learn to slow down, experience the love of life and pass that on. Life is a gift, live for the present. I will leave you with a song that seems fitting right now.... "You have laughed with me, washed away my tears You have shared my joy, you have felt my pain In this healing time, walk with me again Through these darker days on this narrow line~ Help me find my way I'm not afraid, I'm not alone You have taught me well, you have brought me home." I think John Denver would sing that if he had us all together...don't you agree? And we know, somewhere there is an eagle flying above, looking down and whispering in the wind, "far out." OH...and one more thing! This past weekend Tom was outside our house and he said he heard "haw, haw" up in the sky and he swears it was a HAWK flying around! I got chills. Love you all. ~Paula |

| Comments: | Well, I'll be seeing you all soon, but here's the latest...Tom started his second round of chemo last week. It's being given in pills this time! We buy them at CVS like a regular prescription...that makes it easier. Side effects should be minimal and those that he will get are cumulative, so he's able to work full time. Life has gone back to somewhat normal for a bit. Second surgery will hopefully be after the chemo...6-8 months away, but we'll deal. He isn't happy about waiting, but we trust the doctors know what they are talking about. Keep the good thoughts/prayers and wishes for us...it's still a long road ahead, but it looks a little less frightening now. Good friends and family have kept us going...and we thank you all! See you all soon at the cleanup/BBQ! |

| Comments: | The prayers worked...the surgery went very well and he's on the road to a normal life again! Just a couple more months to get through and they can reverse the procedure they did today (illiostomy) and we'll be very happy once again! Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and positive energy...there is light and goodness in the world and it lives in each of you! Love you all! |

| Comments: | From the Kenny Rogers song called "We've Got It All" (beautiful sentimental ballad) some alternative lyrics.
"WE'RE HERE FOR YOU" It's hard to know what words to say you're much more than a friend and this challenge knockin at your door we wish that it could end but like ancient rites of passage it's time to carry on you must navigate this rocky shoal and we're here to keep you strong We're Here For You when you need a listening ear We're Here For You when life seems so unclear and as years go slipping by us recall what helped you through like these times we came together you were here for us and ,,,,we're here for you and at JD get-togethers goodbyes are hard to do but we'll hug and we'll remember you were there for us and,,,,,,we're here for you,,,,,,,,,, |

| Comments: | As the calendar turns the page to May tomorrow I am slightly overwhelmed knowing in just 25 days Tom will have his surgery. While it is one step closer to ending this nightmare, I stress out thinking it will be the hardest step yet. Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts, it means so much. |

| Comments: | On the CD "Homemade Originals" the 3rd song called "LET HIM DOWN EASY" I wrote (alternate lyrics to), as I sometimes do. GOOD THINGS DON'T COME EASY & the first verses go; Reach out in brotherhood and help someone who needs it, be the first to give and then i'm sure you'll find, treasures that are priceless things that money just can't buy, cause a poor man's gold is joy and peace of mind,,,,,,,,,,,,GOOD THINGS DON'T COME EASY, they don't show up out of thin air, Good things don't come easy, it takes a little bit a work, and a few nice folks who care,,,,,,,,,,, |

| Comments: | Dear Paula, A little thought to keep your spirits lifted...
"Find a place inside your heart it's an easy space to fill, just plant the seed of hopefullness and then your struggles will be still. For tears of love that shed in pain shall nourish the flowers in healing rain, a space that blooms and fills with light can find no despair in the darkened night." Peace and Love, Sheila |

| Comments: | I thank you all for the wonderfully kind words. So nice to know so many are there for us with love, support and kindness. But even in this troublesome time, there are still others I think of. Please remember a special friend of mine who is dealing with a similar situation to our's with his mother and also with a problem with his young son. It's so hard to reach some when they go to a dark place when bad things happen in their lives, but I sincerely hope with love, friendship and smiles it will somehow reach to his heart and he will feel some peace. Thank you all again, and I can't say thank you enough for this place! |

| Comments: | Hi nice mommy! My heart goes out to you in this time of uncertainty. But I absolutely assure you of the ,,,,,,,,,, miraculous healing power of your love for your husband and he for you & the strength of a close-knit family. It's simply a gift from heaven that no "tsunami-like" problem can overcome easily, without a powerful resistance to it's challenge. You are one of the nicest people i've ever met & I think you know a lot of others feel the same way. Anything you need ,,,,,,all you gotta do is ask.
ONE word Frees us of all the weight and pain of life; That word is love. SOPHOCLES |

| Comments: | What a wonderful thought and sweet thing to do Richard for our dear sweet friend Paula. Just a little one she is but a heart so big and strong and a soul that is genuine, compassionate, and caring. Not an easy time for someone who has so much on her mind with a husband ill and two little boys to care for, love, and try to expain to why the world is just not the same as it was before. Not an easy thing to accept when you prehaps don't understand yourself. Paula please know that you, Tom and the boys have alot of love and support out there. People who genuinely care and are sending our love and prayers to you and the family. Life has a way of throwing us curves and giving us challanges, prehaps a way of showing us just how strong we are. We don't have to feel badly or prehaps weak when we have a good cry sometimes, it is natures way of cleansing the negitives out of our body and soul, I think in order to make room to fill it up again with light* and spirit. After all we cannot fly when we are weighted down we can only soar when we are 'enlightened'. We are here for you Paula to help lighten the load whenever you need us. 'Look up to where the eagle flies for his reflection is there within your eyes.' Love you Dear and Take Care. Sheila |

| Comments: | I thought the load to heavy
and I looked inside my heart. Thought all the brightness left me and my life would fall apart. Could not bear to dream again or wish upon a star *. Forsake all the dreams I held inside, forever out of reach so far. Thought tomorrow would come in fear and pain too much for me to bear. Take away my faith so strong, and leave me only with despair. I thought and thought till I looked around at all the gifts in life I've found *. For those are truths our promise from the start. So believe and trust when you look inside your heart. Peace and Love to all. Take Care Paula, our wishes and prayers are with you and your family. Sheila |
