We accepted a dog one time from a family who couldn't afford the medical attention she needed (heart worm disease)and we had her treated...with no grarentees, of course. She lived another 18 months, but they were the best 18 months in -my- life. |

| Comments: | Wonderful pages! I actually remember hearing or seeing something about Jimmy some years back. I am from Bay Shore, NY. Your stories about Jimmy are fantastic. He is a great dog. I'm glad to hear his treatment/s went well. It's amazing what can be done for pets these days. As a matter of fact, I am the proud owner of a dog blood donor. She saved another dogs life in 93' and we made the front page for that, but nothing close to the awards Jimmy has won. He is such a cool pet. May he be with you for many years to come. I can see the headline now....."Jimmy in the 21st Century..." (lol) Give him a scratch behind the ear for me... |
