I was looking at the one Ronin parody comic, the one of the first episode, and I agree, those are deffinitly DBZ poses. The Ginue force if I remember correctly. Only reason I recognize those is because my brother used to watch it all the time when it was on. All I can say, the only thing that kept that soldier from attacking was the fact it was probably laughing too hard at how dumb they looked doing the poses to attack.
