| Comments: | I have been a fan of Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons since 1963.....my late husband (Ronnie)& I attended many shows..(both large & small) We wrote the words of songs to each other while he was in VietNam....."working my way back to you"...."save it for me" etc....My biggest regret was that I was unable to purchase tickets to see "the Jersey Boys" in New York in December of 2005....(they had no two seats together in orchestra)..this was a gift to my husband for Christmas and 38 year wedding anniversary.....I had planned on getting them later....unfortunately he had a massive heart attack in June 2006 and passed away in July 2006......he was a Frankie Valli fan til the end and the music now makes me cry whenever I hear it..........I have many 45 rpm's and vinyl albums still held dear forever....I have met Frankie several times and also Joe Long....when he had his band "LaBracio"........very beautiful memories.....thanks for everything you mean to me........Susan Rehm |

Got my Zenith Clock radio for my 11th birthday in 1962. Heard Sherry on WABC and WMCA. Yes, I'm a Jersey Boy, born in Newark and grew up in Kearny (right across the Passaic River from Belleville) and displaced to Ohio. And, favorite group, no surprise ---The 4 Seasons. Saw Jersey Boys at the State Theatre in Cleveland 2 weeks ago. Saw the 4 Seasons at the Garden State Arts Center during Italian Week back in the mid 70's and saw Frankie Valli at Port Clinton, Ohio a couple of years back. |

Mr. Valli, if you read these messages, please, please come back to this area again soon. You have two lifelong fans in us. | Comments: | Hello. My favorite Four Seasons hits are "Working My Way Back to You", "Tell It To the Rain" and their 1968 rendition of "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow". I'd like to hear them sing "Saturday's Father". All in all, the Seasons' magic still beckons everyone, especially fans of oldies radio stations. I salute the music of four great men who made music magic. |

| Comments: | Hi Frankie,
I grew up listening to your music back in the late '60's. I really enjoy listening to Jersey Beat and your latest baby, Romancing The 60's. On a couple of the songs,it sounds like you're either smiling or quite close to laughter. On Jersey Beat, the songs done by The Wonder Who? really had me grinning. Clever trick, that. :D Your falsetto definetly blew me away, though. "Toy Soldier" was a sad song. Gerry Polci, singing lead on "December, 1963(Oh,What A Night)" definetly has an undertone of laughter in his voice. Even his eyes are slightly dancing. It just makes the song sound playful and fun. Like the gent's remembering an exciting time in his life. Definetly looking forward to more of your and the 4 Season's cd's. Yours, Taevia |

| Comments: | Hi again,
Since I signed the Guestbook, I'll sign this one too. It's been over a month since I met you and Charles in NYC at the BC/EFA event, but the thrill of that evening was meeting the original Four Seasons, Brickman, Elice and OBC Jersey Boys! I had to take a photo of John Lloyd Young and Frankie Valli together, as well as Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Joe Long with their Broadway counterparts. At that time, I had no idea that this was your website, but already knew that you and Charles were heavyweights in the Four Seasons/Jersey Boys World. Are you going to include any individual fan reviews of either the SF, National Tour, London or Chicago casts of Jersey Boys? If so, I think Susie Skarl has quite a collection of Jersey Boys regional reviews submitted by fans, and am sure it would not hurt for her to share with GILG..... Keep up the excellent work and I hope to meet up with the East Coast fanbase again in the near future! Thanks! Mike B. Magbaleta |

Now, SF is hosting another cast and I'll be meeting up with Irene & Buz Eizen and some CA fans that were not able to attend the NYC bash to watch SF's Dec. 8 performance. Thanks, Mike B. magbaleta |

| Comments: | "Romancing The 60s" is the greatest peice of music that's been released in 15 years!
I first heard "Romancing The 60s" on the night of Oct. 2nd have listened to it over 10 times since. I was thrilled when I held the CD in my hand. This was the first "new album" I've gotten to see Frankie release since I became a fan in '97. It has been really interested reading the different comments about the album. I do agree that you really need to buy the album, and should not base what you feel just from the sound clips online. I seemed to enjoy the album more after I played it through the second time. I think I would enjoy the album no matter what, just for the fact that it's Frankie singing. I love the song selection, the arrangements, and I think at 73, Frankie still sounds amazing. I feel sure Frankie really worked hard singing these songs and a singer myself, I know that it really does take a lot of energy - but I'm 20 - he's 73! I think we should not be expecting Frankie to sound like he did in 1962! In my opinion Frankie sounds just as good, and better is some areas than he did on "Hope and Glory" from 1992. It seems that he put more emotion into his singing than he has in past projects, just listen to the emotion on "Let It Be Me"... It's not important what you don't have, it's WHAT YOU DO with what you've got! - unknown I like the fact that he isn't just singing these songs "straight" - just like they were originally performed note for note. I thought he put his own unique spin on them and I love it. A few of my favorites were "Take Good Care of My Baby," "My Cherie Amour," "Let It Be Me" and "What Becomes Of the Broken Hearted". I felt on a few tracks Frankie's voice seemed a little weaker such as "This Guys In Love With You" unless he was aiming to put a more intiment or softer feel on the song. It also seemed to me that there was not as much enhancement done on Frankie's voice for the album as what's done during his live shows - you would think it could be the other way around. The orchestration is amazing and it's some of the most complex work I've heard on anything Frankie or The Seasons ever recorded - love it. I enjoyed the jazz/latin flavors, especially on "Sunny" and I like the treatment on "My Cherie Amour" which has alays been a personal favorite. I love the lush passionate arrangements alongside Frankie's voice - makes you want to snuggle up with that special someone. It was great seeing the team together again and I'm just glad I got to see the day when Frankie released another album - I hope to see him release at least 20 more! This is REAL MUSIC through and through - a real masterpeice. I feel sad to think that people would consider these songs "cheezy". These are songs by some of the greatest composers of our time. Thanks Frankie! Matt Barber http://www.MattBarberExperience.com |

| Comments: | This weekend my mom and I caught an exciting performance from Frankie and the "California boys" at the Freedom Hill Ampitheather in the Detroit, MI suburb of Sterling Heights, a mere 7 hour drive from home in IL. I had seen their concert at the same venue in August 2003, and both performances in Feb. 2004 in Warren, MI (neigboring suburb).
The show is perfection. From 5 rows back from the stage, I was yet again blown away by "the sound" of Mr. Valli and his amazing band, even after seeing them around 25-30 times since the year 2000. I enjoyed the three album selections, "Call Me," "Let It Be Me" and "Spanish Harlem". Besides those, they did not perform any rarities and omitted a few songs they had been doing such as "Stay", "Silence Is Golden" and "Streetfighter." I enjoy the way the band members interact with each other, and jump around on stage. Matt Baldoni and Keith are fun to watch, especially when they croon the stage along side the dancers, and run over to Robby. You can tell they have a great time and that's important. Each time I see Frankie perform, I continue to be inspired as I am a performer myself and Frankie has been my biggest icon growing up. I can't wait for "Romancing the 60s" to hit the shelves. It's amazing it's been 15 years since he has released a CD. I was only FIVE when it came out and at that time I had never heard of Frankie Valli! I am tempted to go and buy about 100 CDs to help them hit the charts!!!! Thanks Frankie! |

| Comments: | As many here, I've been a fan of Frankie and the group since childhood. It was the summer of '62. I was 7 and "Sherry" was playing non-stop on my new Brownie transistor radio. My love affair with this incredible man, his talent and his heart, began that summer and has continued until this day. And just last night, at the Mt. Laurel Center in PA, I had the great, great pleasure of finally hearing Frankie live! Can it be he's actually as good or even better, today? Oh, can he still hit those high notes, those low notes, and every note in between to perfection. What a night of fabulous music! My only regret is that I didn't have the courage to rush the stage along with so many, to perhaps shake his hand; he couldn't have been more gracious or giving to the fans! But as we told you last night Frankie, we want you back. Please, come back...the love affair continues for this Jersey girl, for that Jersey boy!
You're the best Frankie and can't wait for your new CD; great song choices! P.S...You're still as 'hot" as ever! :) |

For me, I was in "awe", sitting in the front row and getting to experience Frankie performing such a beautiful rendition of this song, which I heard Frankie sing for the first time. I love the feeling I get when I hear something new by Frankie. The audience seemed to enjoy his "new" songs, especially "Spanish Harlem" which seemed a good song for him. The dancers sat on their stools and did the harmonies while Frankie took center stage. He mentioned that the album should be ready by September. Awesome night! Both nights (May 9 & 11) were sold out. New Jersey definetely loves Frankie. With the huge success of JB, I hope Frankie will want to continue touring for years to come and hope he will be singing until at least 83 or 93. I will be there supporting him and the Seasons all the way. Matt Barber |

| Comments: | I've been a fan of The 4 Seasons since the days of Sherry and Big Girls Don't Cry. I've been to many a Seasons concert and each time I went, I had a better time than the last. Just as a minor point to and about Frankie. If you should continue singing through the year 2010, you will have been in the music business as long as Mr. Frank Sinatra. You will have covered as many decades in the business as did Mr. Sinatra. Keep on rocking. |

| Comments: | On Saturday, March 10th I celebrated my 20th birthday seeing Frankie Valli live in Lancaster, PA and March 11th in Morgantown, WV.
Both concerts were fabulous, the first I've seen this year. The concert set was basically the same with a few nice additions - a song by Chris Montez "Call Me" which Frankie is planning to release on his new CD. He said in a few weeks the mixing will be finished - can't wait! He also performed "Last Request" which I had never heard performed before. It was nice hearing Frankie talk about his views of life today and to hear him mention how he grew up in a time when "music was music". He thanked everyone who has supported the group over the years and for buying the records. I had a wonderful time both nights and it was great seeing Frankie and the gang, still going strong! Frankie had the same group of dancers and band...hopefully he will keep these guys! They were all awesome. March 10th was both mine and Matt Baldoni's birthday (Frankie's lead guitarist) who was 29. It was fun watching Matt rock out on songs like "Streetfighter" - he is very talented and adds a lot of emotion to the songs. I recently got back from a two month tour of the West Coast. I will now be playing more shows closer to home in the Midwest, then leaving to tour the East Coast in April and May. I hope everyone is doing well. Frankie is still the word! Also the LPs I have to this day. My 45s all of them were stolen what a blow to me and my memories of those great rock&roll legends. Have not seen you guys yet in person, I do hope some day of seeing Frankie and the boys in person. Have to go on your site to purchase a photo of The Four Seasons. Take care, with many more perforces in the future. Your loyal fan--Larry Carter |

You should copy them onto a DVD/video and sell them, you'd make a lot of $$$$!!! I've recorded a few, but I definitely rely on you to keep up with them all and I visit your site many times to see them over again. |

I can receive e-mails, but, I can't send them temporarily due to an error symbol that keeps popping up. I did succeed in securing a table, hopefully in the front. My address book is updated. I saw Jersey Boys and there is no question in my mind that it will sweep the Tony Awards. The entire cast has given it their all and the effort is going to be rewarded on Sunday evening. Quite aside from that I personally think the "real" Frankie Valli, like Frank Sinatra, has become more and more handsome as he has seasoned (not that they weren't both handsome when they were younger) but, this is my personal opinion and preference. The talent is timeless. |

| Comments: | Last weekend I had the great pleasure of attending both performances in Peachtree City (Atlanta), GA. Here are some comments on the shows...
Both nights were equally fantastic. The addition of "Soul" was refreshing. I also enjoyed the newer arrangment of "Stay" which seems to give more spotlight on Frankie's high pitched vocals - really cool. A few small changes have been made to the intro of "Dawn" and "I've Got You Under My Skin." The newer guys in the band seem to enjoy their time on stage. Their newer guitar player, Matt Baldoni has fun "jammin" on stage with Robby, Creg, and the other guys. All the musicians are very talented. I do miss the presence of Brian Brock on percussion. I thought the extra sounds added and sound more glamerous. Frankie seemed to be having a good time as well, although I know he was tired from being on the road for a few weeks. I think the audience really had a good time. I enjoy the lighting effects thoughout the show and the acoustics in the amphiteater were really good. You could hear Frankie's vocal really well both nights. I experienced the "southern hospitality" myself as I performed in Atlanta, Chattanooga, and Nashville. People are generally more polite and friendly, which is always a plus. This summer I'll be touring the East Coast and New England. As I've been traveling, I think about Frankie and the guys when they were my age, doing exactly the same thing, and going out after their dream. It's a tough road when your starting out but hopefully the hard work will pay off in the end. I'm also looking forward to seeing the Seasons in NJ. Matt |

| Comments: | Hello again,
So good to read and hear about that special evening for Joe Long. The 4 Seasons became my favourite group in 62 and by 67 I journeyed to Boston to catch them in concert. Frankie Valli remains my favouite all time singer all these years later. I have over 500 different Valli songs in my collection. When Frankie found out that I traveled from Canada to see their show at Blinstrub's, he made me the special guest of the group that weekend. Needless to say as a 19 year old, I was quite impressed with having the opportunity to meet the Seasons in person. I saw six Seasons' concerts in Boston between 67 and 1970. I recall how much Joe added to their live concerts back then, as a singer, a musician and an excellent mc as well. And during that weekend when I met the group in 1967, Joe couldn't have been any nicer or down to earth when we crossed paths backstage, during a radio station appearance and even when I met him on the street. Joe Long was a huge part of the 4 Seasons success, adding so much energy and enthusiasm during some lean chart years at that. So nice to hear that he was recognized and honoured at the Jersey Boys' performance. What a fabulous guy and wonderful talent! Paul Kennedy Halifax, Nova Scotia |

Dear Jersey Boys Fans, We’ve all gathered on this blog because we’re fans of the show. Now I know that as true Jersey Boys fans, we all appreciate the entire cast/crew and what they all bring to the show. However, when I got to see the show, I felt bad for the rest of the cast, because the only ones receiving any applause were the four leads. It’s because of this that I’m working on something to give to the entire cast of Jersey Boys. This is where you all come in: I need your help to make this work. I’m putting together a book to show them how much we appreciate them and all their hard work. I’m looking for any and all Jersey Boys-related fan art, pictures, letters to the cast, reviews…anything you want to share with the cast, I’ll put it in. My only request is that you please focus not only on the boys, but also on the often-overlooked members of the cast (Michael Longoria, Peter Gregus, Sarah Schmidt, Jennifer Naimo, Erica Piccinnini, Heather Ferguson, Donnie Kehr, Mark Lotito, Titus Burgess, Dominic Nolfi, and Steve Gouveia.) I’ll accept submissions until May 21, so that I can put it together it get it to the cast before their contracts start to expire. You can e-mail any submissions to me at NFGurl@hotmail.com (Just put “Jersey Boys” in the subject line). If there are pictures or anything else you’d like to send through snail mail, just e-mail me and I’ll send you my address. Thanks for your time, guys! I know that with your help, and enough participation, this can be a really great gift for the cast. Sincerely, Erin Kuntzelman |

| Comments: | I wanted to add too, that I'm still reeling from the Concert in Marin Sat. night. Frankie Valli made me so happy hearing all the music that I listed to when I was 14 in 1974. I remember seeing him on Dick Clarks New Year's Rockin Eve special in 1974 and he sang "Who Loves You" I fell in Love with Frankie Valli then and there, and I've never forgot him. Of recent I've been going through some tough times and seeing him on Sat. Night put a bounce back in my step. I immediately went out and bought Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons greatest hits. I listen to them on my way to work and home from work. The concert was soooo much fun. If someone would have told me I would have seen him in my lifetime, I would have fainted. Thank you Frankie Valli for all the joy you've given me!!!! |

| Comments: | "Valentine's Day in Lakeland, Florida"
Here's a report from last night's show in Lakeland. This was the best show out of the three that I attended during the past week because I was sitting in the first row, center. Stewie Stone opened for Frankie for all three shows. I sang along to every song, I hoped that Frankie and the guys could spot me singing along to songs like "Streetfighter". I'm sure I must of been one of the very few people in the audience who knew it. I think it's great that they've brought back a few of the songs that wereren't hits. If it was up to me, every song would have been a hit. I liked being right up in front because I felt more connected to what was going on. It was really great and the show passed by far too quickly. One part during the show Frankie talks about the success of Jersey Boys and being on the Sopranos. He asks the audience "now be honest, how many of you went out and bought our records over the years" (clappings and yelling), "and how many of you never bought a Four Seasons record?" (some noise). The dancers come towards the stage with stools, mic stands, and instruments, ready to throw at the people and Frankie says "get there names and addresses." I thought that was funny. The new arrangement for "I've Got You Under My Skin" is pretty nice. Also, the arrangement on "My Eyes Adored You" is a little different. There are a few songs he is not doing including "Fallen Angel", "Harmony". I never did catch a show when they did "Last Request" or "We're All Alone." I also enjoyed it when Frankie got on his stool and spoke his mind about things going on in the world and how life use to be when he was growing up. Sometimes I feel like I should have been born in a different era and I find myself not understanding what's going on, like Frankie. The band was fantastic, backed with a Florida horn section. They now have three guitarists. I will write later with the names. My only complaint is that sometimes I think Frankie announces the year the songs were recorded in too often. I think at least he should get the year right for "Save It For Me" which was recorded in 1964, not 1966! I don't think the average person cares when each song was recorded (I'm not the average fan, I have all the years memorized) but I would rather hear Frankie talk about the songs a little more, what they are about, what inspired them, and anything else of interest. I also wish that more of the audience had as much excitment as I have during the show. Most of the people in the audience were middle ages through 60s or 70s. A lot of the older people want to stay sitting and they don't seem to clap much or keep the clapping going throughout the songs. They would give a standing ovation before "Let's Hang On" and then sit right back down, when I would have wanted to stay standing. I knew Frankie was going to shake the people's hands and they just sat back down so he had to bend over the stage with his hand out to get their attention. I felt that I stayed standing, I would be blocking someone. Anyway, I think the audiences really enjoyed the performances. I heard a lot of good things after the shows. I feel that just because you get older doesn't mean you can't have fun and let loose a little, at least sing along and clap and not look like you bit into a sour lemon. I come to the shows to have fun and enjoy the the music and sing along just like when I was 10 and first dicovered the Seasons, life was more inocent and less complicated. Now I'm 18, traveling the country by myself with God and music powering me every mile, but I still love Frankie and the Seasons just like I did when I was 10. |

| Comments: | I just saw Frankie Valli last week in Ft. Myers ,Florida. It was a show I never thought I'd get to see..I didn't know he was still touring. I found out about it pretty late, and got sort of bad tickets, but still had a great time...he was amazing. I was wondering if you have an address where I could let him know how much I enjoyed the show, and ask(like a teen ager) for a current signed photo. |

| Comments: | Last night's show was amazing. Period!
I saw The Seasons last night in Melbourne, Florida. I've been touring myself in Florida and got tickets to three of the Frankie shows here. I had such a good time last night. Compared to the other night in Fort Meyers, Frankie had much more energy. I could tell he was having a great time. The band was fantastic, looked like they were having fun. The dancers were great. Two of them are new, one is from Washington State. There have been changes in the band as well. The new drummer is Creg Pillo, new guitar player is also named Matt! He's from San Francisco (went there last summer, loved it). They no longer have Brian Brock on percussion. Keith was still there on bass, and Robby of c course. Frankie looked like he was having a great time. The audience was really loving it. They haven't been doing "Harmony" but they did "Stay." I love to hear Frankie hitting those sky high notes. I liked it when Frankie said "all the music today sounds the same, like crap!" I couldn't agree with him more. I have to say I enjoyed this show very much, had so much fun. Keep up the good work guys! I will be in Lakeland on Valentine's Day. I have front row seats, can't wait! Matt |

| Comments: | Hi Frank,
Mary had told me about the great time you had in NYC when you went to opening night. She did not, however fill me in with all the fun details. Next time pick a hotel that you've actually heard of before. Glad you had fun. I love the website, you've done an excellent job and I have bookmarked it so I can check back from time to time. Keep up the good work. Clare |

| Comments: | I first met Frankie Valli and the gang when they performed a
"record hop" for me at St. Margaret's Catholic Church in Reading, PA. "Sherry" was #1 on the CASHBOX pop list at the time. Their fee: $400. We developed a friendship and the group returned to perform at the Exeter (PA-near Reading) Block Party a couple of summers following the Reading, PA, appearance. Their fee was substantially higher due to the string of hits they were bringing to the pop charts. In the meantime, Frankie arranged to have the group perform a personalized Deejay jingle for me. I still have it! An example of their "class" - At the Exeter, PA, appearance a rainstore shortened their outdoor performance. They offered to reduce their fee so I would not be hurt due to the light crowd due to the storm. Frankie and I kept in touch until the mid-70s. They are great performers and true gentlemen. So happy for the success of the Broadway show! By the way, I was on-air and program director of WRAW-AM, Reading, PA, at the time I initially met the group. |

| Comments: | Always the best. No other group can compare and down through the years they have always had the cream of the crop in singers/muscians. I have been following since they hit with Sherry in '62. Long lived Jersey Boys and thanks for these web sites and the most cordial and accomodating members I have come in contact with and of course that includes former members of the 'Seasons who answer our questions and are kind to us.

| Comments: | I would like to add to my comments. John Lloyd Young was the best.He sounded so much like Frankie Valli, it was amazing!!! This kid is twenty something & he has a long ,long career ahead of him. The guy that played Tommy DeVito was also good. All of the guys were good but, John Lloyd Young can sing, play the music and dance. I could not imagine anyone else playing Frankie. Thea |

It could have some mistakes and to bear with them. They didn't make any mistakes. It was perfect!Let me tell you, this is the best show I have ever seen on Broadway .(I'm 56 years old & boy have I seen many!!) The whole theatre rocked!!!! I would like to see Jersey Boys again & again.Thank You Frankie Valli. |

| Comments: | It's great to have this site. The album after which it is named needs to be viewed as a history making chapter in the career of the 4 Seasons. Innovative and interesting.
Plus the Motown years need to be explored and a way found to get the material released. The much neglected Chameleon album along with the rest including Charisma should once again see the light of day for the old and new fans. |
