The horses were awesome and I just felt I was living my hertiage days in the 1800's. I'm going to look around on the website in support of catching your shows and buying items for my granddaughters. Every time its just the same. She comes galloping over with her ears up high. The bond between you two makes you so happy you cry. You groom her to perfection; Give her treats when she is good. If you asked her to jump a mountain… She’d do the best she could. You drain a lot of her energy, But she doesn’t mind one bit. She hops into a trailer… Where her body will barely fit. She trusts you with everything. For her life she looks at you She enjoys your voice and company… And grain and carrots too. In her heart and soul there’s only love. To you it has your name. When she’s hurt she looks for you, And needs you when she’s lame. She looks for love and comfort You give her what she needs, From water, grain, and carrots; To hay and yummy treats If she bites your fingers Every now and then, It not to be mean In the heart is where the love is seen. Although she is an animal, Her heart is tender warm and true. She runs around and sweats all day In efforts of pleasing you. She can only do what you taught her; If she does that you should be glad Other horses know different things; so don’t compare and don’t get mad. She is your best friend So be patient and just smile, Even if she runs away at liberty And wont stop for quite a while. Just know what you need to work on You’ll go through smiles screams and tears. even if it takes a while… You’ll get rid of all those fears. You did good and so did she Is all that you can say. and bareback with out any tack. We resemble the way the indians ride with their mocasins and beadwork, and buffalo hide. With the ultimate bond between rider and horse so free, and so gentle without any force. Liberty and jumping is the way we go, voice cues, and leg cues, and really loud woes. Working hard is the way we suceed, and helping others when they are in need. "I can't" is a phrase that we never say, because you can and you will in every way. You will go above and beyond what you think you can do, I know that I did and you will too! Ask lots of questions when you don't understand everyone is willing to lend a hand. Take the instructors advice I know it has helped me, it can help you be the best you can be. This team is amazing is all I can say. From the life-long friendships, and uplifting neighs. Congratulations! You all did a wonderful job. My mom talked to one of the judges, Penny, who gushed about how impressed she was by you all. She is even talking about her daughter possibly joining the club next year, she was so amazed! I especially want to recognize all our queen contestants: Erica, Becky, Jessika, and Ashley. This is the first year all the girls exceeded the minimum horsemanship score, meaning they were all good enough to be queen! I honestly didn't know who would win, they were all so good. In my youth I rode bareback and knew there were ways to control your horse with legs, leaning, etc. But never had the chance for training and practice. You are so great at what you do. I rode back when Janis was the drill instructor, Neenie Blake was Queen, and I rode three horses in my Eh-Capa time, Comanche-- Paul's Pizza(also known as Red), and Valerie Moon (Val as she was affectionately known, except for when she bucked me off
during the sixteen abreast jump at the Snake River Stampede (back when it was held in downtown Nampa) then she was known as Vanessa, Valerie's evil twin))-- I loved riding in Eh-Capa,the times I had there are some of my fondest memories.
