| Comments: | I would just like to say that I went through 4 years of marching band with the Walled Lake Central Vikings of Walled Lake, Mi. It was by far the best experience of my life. My freshmen year was the first year we actually made states. We went from scoring a 35.05 as the highest the previous year to a 78.80, taking 6th in states. Over the next couple years we had improved moving to 4th, 2 times consecutivly. My junior year had played the Blue Devils show of 1994 and 95 "My Spanish Heart" taking home 4th place and a score of 83.05. Sad I remember the scores but I do, live with it. My senior year we had the honor of having David McGrath as our director. A director who previously directed Plymouth-Canton. 13 State champions ships, and 5 grand national champion titles. We ended up taking 6th but performing the best we ever have. Now that I am out of highschool I miss it a lot. This past year Walled Lake Central took 3rd at states, and wille probably be state champs this year. I wish you all luck and may the memories last you a life time. (MONA SHORES ROCKS MY WORLD!!!!! You got my vote for state champs flight 2 this year guys!)...REETHS PUFFER...whats up wit you guys, you da shiznit too!)(jenison! Good luck guys, you will be great this year!) |

| Comments: | Hey guys what up, This year was a really fun year...i did alot of stupid things...most of them during shows...i think the most stupidest thing was losing me shoe, which really hurt marching back, i dropped my flag and sean hoeked marked time on it...i marched with a broken rist for a while...with and without a cast, and at the fall concert i hitt a trumpet players trumpet with the back of my tromebone...sorry kyle. But hey no one was hurt... and i lived this year wasn't the most sucessful year, but it was fun. Wish me luck for section leader, i hope i get it. there is one thing i am glad about though... its finally concert season, i cant get hurt, or do something stupid...haha i will find a way to screw something up, not on purpose of coarse. but yea i am going to go chill and eat the holloween candy that is supposed to be for the little kids tomarrow...my moto first come first serve...and its all i can eat...so i will see ya in band...

what up park band! just thought i'd thank you all for a very successful season and many memories. i know some of y'all are disappointed with our competition results and all, but good times were had, and memories will last :). yeah, i'm a little sentimental that it's over... but it WAS successful just because we improved and put our hearts into it. I'm not just trying to *motivate* you or anything, i really believe this and i think it's good for you to hear it from someone other than the directors. Besides, i can't motivate you - you have to do that yourselves. in more than just band, really, but that's an entirely different life lesson... one i really hope you all can find in you to learn.
