I usually don't leave comments, but someone gave me the link to your page a few months ago and I just found it again and absolutely had to tell you how much I adore your writing! I only just read The Waterstreet Mill and am definitely going to read all your other stories as well. Please continue them!
I started visiting your website when it was completely different and there was a little Arslan jpeg on the homepage! I loved these stories so much I would same them on disks and in print outs! But some of the stories are gone now or they've been revamped, and now the unfinished section has no working link! Help help! Where have they gone?
I forget how much I love your fics :) Pariah Society especially. Cade and Remy are my faves and I keep going back to reread their scenes. I *really* hope they end up together in the end. I'd love to see Remy slightly change Cade, especially on how he feels about love/closeness. Gosh, they're so hot together! I love Dane too so I'm conflicted about it all but I think my mind has latched onto Cade/Remy more (could be because I lvoe Cade so much haha) Anyway, I hope you're still writing and are well ^^

I always come back to reread all your stories and I continue to love them as much as the first time when I read them years ago.

I.... Have not visited your page since I attended Hawaii University in the fall of 2005. AGES! yet you've remained one of my favorite writers throughout all that time. Many have disappeared over the years, or life simply takes over - I hope you are still writing and revising, because I plan to revisit ALL of your stories. Much need to a refresher and some amazingly well written, thought out and embellished writing.
Please don't forget about us! Ever lasting and patiently waiting fans, yes?
Much love, and muse vibes to keep those verses flowing. *like honey on a summers day*
(started with 'Anglika'.. Ch.5, I don't think I've ever read the entirety of this story... Which begs BEGS that it should be completed. @___@. )
I remember the Flyers story in its original glory. Yet having read the newest version I am chopping at the bit so to say for more. Any planned updates anytime soon ??
P.S. I'm a Jamaican and I'm female so people hate that I enjoy this subject matter. But I want to be a short story writer and novelist but I have so much writer's block*sigh. I wanted to ask how do you push yourself to build up these stories and actually finish? Do u give yourself a time line or do you take all the time you need?
I've been a fan of your writing for years and years and check on this site regularly, always hoping for a new chapter of the Mill or the Society, two of my favorite stories. I do love all of your stories, though.
I hope that you keep writing and updating, I'd get really sad if I never got to read those lovely stories to their end... please let us (your fans) know how the writing goes!
Does here have story about Dorian who is captured by Flyers? I know silly question, but if someone can answer that... I'll be happy:)

Lovely work. I began reading this site years and years ago and just re-discovered it a few weeks ago. Glad to see it's still up and running. I'm also glad I'm able to appreciate the Classical references throughout your writing now. Tremendous. Thanks!

Hah! After a few years and a few changes, I return once again! I am pleased to see more chapters of beloved stories. *-* <3 My roommates laughed at me while I was flailing in my chair reading Waterstreet Mill. "NO, YOU'RE DRUNK, DON'T MESS THIS UP! EEEEEK" LOL
Can't wait for more, and I hope you're doing well, Thera. Thank you, thank you so much. <3

Are you really back? You said you were... but so far since June there's been nothing. Can you please inform us in some way if you're working on any of the chapters of your wip fics? Like Pariah Society and Waterstreet Mill (my two favorite stories of yours). It would be sad if they got abandoned...

I'm soooooooooooo glad to see that this place is still here, I've been reading your stories since years back, and today suddenly when I thought I wanted to come here and see if there's any updates and wow, yes, haha, I think I will definitely reread some of the stories that I've read before, I can still remember how deeply enthralled I was when I first encountered your page and read your stories, I just literally couldn't stop. Please complete the old stories and keep on writing! I love every single piece of them! I know it's hard to keep it up sometimes, but I just wanted to let you know that there are a lot of ppl out there who cares and are looking forward to updates, like me! Again, thank you so much for sharing you wonderful writings.
Hi, just came back again to check up on your site and admire the artwork. I think I'll read Angelika again :) Its my favourite story. I'm so glad your site is still up, so many others have closed now that I'm rechecking all my links from so long ago. So saddening. Thanks for hanging in there! :)
I've never written in your guestbook, but I've been reading your stories for YEARS now. I love each one and take emotional investment in all of your characters and stories. I'm elated to see you writing again and I hope it continues.

OH MY GOSH! I love all of your stories SOOOO much! Thank you for existing so you can write them and we can read them! lol
I really can't wait to finish angelika and the gypsy of rhiddeia. I think I've fallen in love with them~

I really liked the Ayr story and the Kikit/Kellen story. Can you finish them?
Only other I have read so far is the merman one and I relished it. Than you for sharing your art. :)

I must say, I was delighted to see you're re-writing Angelika. I loved the old story, but getting a taste of something new is awesome.
I'm also hoping against hope for a different ending for Gabriel in this one...
My favorite character, in my favorite story, by my favorite author is gone? Why? I have recommended your sight and your story, Angelika, to so *many* other people and you tore it up, from the BEGINNING, and rewrote it? The sickest part is I don’t know whether to trust you and read the updated version or to hunt you down and cause you physical harm for the trespass … I’m scared. (and b4 ur fans chime in-im probably the one who recommended u this site, so u just hush!)
oh my god, I'm so happy you're back! I hadn't checked this site in quite awhile, considering it seemed dead, and just now I decided to try it once more and saw the updates! Definitely going to read the rewrite of Angelika - really liked that story :)
Oh, I hope you update Pariah Society and Waterstreet Mill soon ^^ I'm totally in love with those (my most favorite ones). Anyway, glad to see your back, and can't wait for more updates in the future :D
Hi Thera, I just wanted to let you know that I've been reading your stories for nearly 10 years, and think you're a fantastic writer. My current favourite work-in-progress is The Water Street Mill, though I was a big fan of Angelika (even in its earlier form) and Angel Eyes too. I sometimes go for weeks or months without checking the site for updates because you update so seldom nowadays, but I do always come back and I was really excited to see the update from last week. Please don't ever stop writing!
I had an absolute shit day and nothing made me feel better (not even cinnamonrolls) until i for some reason decided to check you site, and I saw that it looked a bit different from usual; and it made me soooo happy! I don't care that you didn't update any stories, I got happy cus that was a life sign. Means that you're still alive and may continue your stories. I can honestly say that Exit Running is one of my favourite stories ever. And of course, Pariah Society is a favourite as well. Even tho I say I can't wait to read more it's not true, becaus I can wait for years because I know it will be worth it. Hope you have an amazing day!
Yay, you're still going to work on the page :) I love your stories, especially Angelika, and Waterstreet Mill which I've followed since years ago. Take as long as you want to update, I'll be waiting.
I'm so excited to hear about updates soon! I've been re-reading all of your stories because I love the writing so much. I will be checking the site every day.

Hi! I first found your site years ago (almost 10!) and have loved your writing. Over the years I noticed that the length of time between updates have been growing and I just want to say that I'm sure your life is hectic and you're super busy, but I hope that you don't stop writing because you're really talented. Plus I really wanna find out how all your stories end! Hope all is well =)
...umm are you going to finish any of the storys or are you going to abondon them. cause their really good an worth while it just be ashame to let such good work go to waste.
Hey, I love the Waterstreet Mill and I was wondering if you are still writing it?
You have a great way to write and make me want to know more.
Thank you for sharing all those great stories with us!

I just wanted to sign this to say that Angel Eyes is a beautiful story. Very well written and deep, with believable characters. Thank you for the read.
i am so happy i found this site after so many years. i found this site for the first time when i was about 13/14 and now im 18 going on 19 and after all of the gay fiction i've read, yours is the one that i always remembered, some stories so clearly i felt like i watched it and others really vague that i wasnt sure if i had read them or imagined them. anyways. im bookmarking this site this time. love your stories, can't wait for them to be completed. <3

I love all of your stories. Especially, Pariah Society. I'm in love with Cade, and really, really want to see if anything happens with him and Remy. I'm wanting them together, despite the fact that poor Dane would be alone. I just love them two!
I also like the Waterstreet Mill and the gypsie of rhiddea. Those stories are awesome as well (can't wait to find out what happens in WSM!)
Lastly, I just love how you write. You have a way with your words that make it so... perfect. I haven't actually found stories written this well (that aren't published for real) in a long time.
Are you by chance going to update any of these stories soon? Preferably, Pariah Society and WSM? I'd love, love, love if you could. Email me the answer if you can, I'd really appreciate it and look forward to whenever you do update. Great job :)

Hello again! I've been frequenting your page since you first designed it. I really miss your works, especially Westland. I've been printing your work out so that i could reread them over and over again since I didn't have a computer at the time, and I noticed that this particular story was removed. Was it too erotic? Well, I loved it...actually I love all of them, especially Waterstreet Mill. I like the love 'square' between Micah, Archer, Hunter, and even Galen. (Because Galen still has feelings for him)
I also like how Gipsy of Riddheia is coming along; not sure who will be with Salleus (I believe I spelled it right). I'm starting to think that Errai might like him. I also like how you used your previous ethnic groups like the galilani. Okay. I'm done now. Miss your work! Bring back Westland!

It's lovely to see an update! :) I didn't expect it when I decided to check up on this and to see that yes, there was an update!
I've just finished reading your waterstreet mill story and now I'm left wondering what is going to happen. It's been such a long time since you've updated that I don't have hopes of you ever updating this story again. I like the build up of the love triangles. I'm not sure who I want Micah to be with or who he should be with. Of course the romantic in me wants him to be with his first love Archer, but I don't know how ARcher feels about Micah, where as Hunter loves him and he also loves Hunter. Then again, first love, it's hard to get over. It would seem quite cruel to have Micah leave Hunter despite my irrational wish to have him be with Archer. I don't know how you would go about resolving this sticky situation if you ever decide to finish this story

Your writing is wonderful! It's refreshing to find stories as well written and beguiling as yours. ^^ I'm having trouble finding writing like this amongst published slash books. I'm just starting to read The Waterstreet Mill, I'm kind of hesitant to get really deep into it since it's been a while since your last update on it. X_X I don't want to get too hooked quite yet... Please continue to write!!
I read the Waterstreet Mill. The story is absolutely beautiful and I love that you're moving the romance at a slow pace. I still don't know if you're planning to pair up Micah and Archer, but their relationship is pretty realistically portrayed.
Hi..this site is awesome.. i have just finished reading your "the waterstreet mill" story and it was so moving that i teared up...huhuhu im glad you made this story... i wish you good health and relationsips to continue this story...god bless

Wonderful writing! Loved Angel Eyes and currently reading Pariah Society. Update soon please! It really does have an interesting plot, aside from the pleasurable sensuality~. Can't wait for the next chapter :]
I stumbled upon this site a few years ago and every once and a while check back up on it. I've forgotten the details of all your work but remember the effects they had on me. Hopefully I'll get around to re-reading them soon.
Just thought I'd check in again, though it looks to have been a while since you last update. :)
I absolutely love your work and I have read every story on your site at least twice or more. I keep checking back hoping that you will update one day. I hope you are doing well and that you are still writing your wonderful stories. Its not often that I've come across such a talanted writer as you. Thank you and I hope to read new installments of your stories someday!
I really love your story Angel Eyes, and I'm wondering if you're ever going to go back and write an epilogue or something for it? It just doesn't quite feel finished.

I discovered your stories quite some time ago. I've read just about every book you recommended, the Nightruner series being my favorite. Yet even as Seregil and Alec's story draws to an end, I keep coming back to this site hoping for a conclusion of other much beloved characters, and it appears I'm not the only one =] As it appears that you have moved on to other endeavors, I just wanted to express the enjoyment I've received from your creativity and wish you best on the Islands.
Hi, Thera, this is Rosa from Spain. I've been a faithful reader since... my, so long ago! More than a decade already!! O.o Just wanted to let you know that I'm still here, that I still love and enjoy reading your fics, and that I hope you'll keep on writing, because your stories are captivating and incredibly good. Even the pain is the good sort of pain, so I always come back for more :P You're still my fav writer! I hope to see some update soon =) I'll keep checking!
One of the first things that gave me confidence to "come out" and have some self-esteem was this site, especially "The Waterstreet Mill". And then I had forgotten about it. I think that was three years ago. And it took me about an hour to find, pouring through google, because all I could remember was that the word "eros" was in the title. But I'm very glad I put in the effort. The writing is excellent, and very positive. Thank you.
Hey, just wanting to make sure you're still alive. lol Been waiting for some updates, and it makes me sad to not see any of my favorite ones updated. Well, I really like all of them. >.> Let us know how you're doing!
Congratulations to this great site and these great stories. I've just found your fiction and regret that I didn't find it sooner considering your last update so long ago. I usually don't read unfinished fiction that is likely not going to be finished, but I couldn't resist and it was worth it. There is so little high quality yaoi out there and your stories are definitely a gem. The characters are great and multidimentional, you don't bore people with endless descriptions of gratuitous sex, your language is rich and gives me a good sense of the worlds you created and your storylines (the ones I read) are not the same clichee over and over again. So I hope you will continue at one point, but even unfinished as it stands the stuff is great. Thanks for writing and sharing it with us all.

Just for curiosity's sake, exactly what is 'soon' in your mind? Because that 'coming soon' has been up for months now and if you don't intend to update anything then please don't raise our hopes like that...
I truly love your stories, especially Pariah Society, and I would love to read more of it and the other stories (especially since I've been around since this site was created) but it's kind of hard to hope and hope but then never seeing anything happen...
I hope nothing serious happened in real-life and please don't take my comment as an attack... just, if you don't intend to update, please take that sign down, ok?
You really should continue this story! It has so much potential and everyone enjoys a good shounen - ai. And, it is really hard to find a good fantasy/adventure based story such as this. Most are very modern. This reminds me of the Dragonlance Saga or the Riftwar Series.
I really think you should continue this.
I'm so totally back the next year. I can't help but keep passing around the link to here, and everyone's coming back to me with the same question; WHEN IS THERE GOING TO BE MORE?!
:D *pressurepressure*
kidding, kidding. <3 But you are missed dearly. <3
It's been so many years since i first came across your writing... and for some reason i keep coming back to it religiously. i just reread exit running after four years, and was equally moved by it as i was way back when, when i was just a lowly, sheltered kid. then i read the walls for the first the this evening, and i'm moved once again by your storytelling prowess; It's truly rare and phenomenal. i really don't know how you do it, but as always, i thank you for sharing it.
Yay! It's so hard nowadays to find really good writing, and it's obvious that your one of the best writers out there! Please don't stop writing; I can't wait for the next chapter of the Waterstreet Mill to come out. I think that I've fallen in love with Hunter ^^. I really hope that you don't disappear like many other good writers do. Please stick around and share your talent with the rest of us! *Loves*
Hey there, I'm back reading after a couple years hiatus from reading yaoi online. It's great to see some new chapters, especially on WaterStreet Mill and Pariah Society! I'm glad to see that you're back writing, too. It's a bit late, but welcome back to the mainland. :)
Hi!!! I remembered the story you wrote that you haven't completed.

Hi, I just read your latest chapter on the waterstreet mill story! Thank you so much for continuing to post, I really just love it:)
There is something that always makes me return to this story. You write in a understated way, without long descriptions and still you make the words come alive and create this intriguing world. Hope to hear more from you soon:)
OKay, I tried to look for it but all I found was your Perdida and Flyers...which were soooo good I think I read the ink out of the print. I guess I didn't have that story and I really can't explain it because I read it when I was I believe 12 yrs. old?
Well, all I remember was the the main character was a teenaged boy who was a freaking nymphomaniac. The only scene that pops into my head is when he is captured and sold and when he was taken to where ever, he was reunited with I believe it was his slave. But the teens who were enslaved with him had to put on a show for people, which they did by having sex in front of an audience. You made that story soooo erotic that I really wanted to keep reading it but it was never put back into the site.
P.S. I tried to add you to my myspace but it didn't go through. If you want, you can add me. Just search zumayna...if not, I'll just keep trying until you're added.
I just love ALL of your stories. Some of the stories I've noticed have changed alot, since I've collected your works since I was younger. I noticed it when I read absolution over. Can't wait to read them all over AGAIN because they are so good. You are very talented and should think of compiling them inot one book and selling it. I would most definitely buy!
P.S. There was this one story that I read a long time ago that was really intense (sexually). Once I find it so I can remember the title, if would be really nice to see it back up here again.
I love you! I was ecstatic to find that you have updated. I didn't know that you had an internship, so I almost gave up on your ever updating...but finally it's here!
Among your stories, I've only read "The WaterStreet Mill" so far, and I've been reading it nonstop. Like, right now, I can't take my eyes off the screen, but I feel the need to say something to you, the author.
I think this is an amazing story. The plot is not exactly new, but it's not cliched and it's refreshing. You've got strong characters here, especially Micah. He's just... so real and humane that I have a really strong sympathy for him. I feel like if I were him, I'd probably like that too. No, not really, but, well, what I mean is his thoughts, actions, feelings, all of them are imaginable and understandable. They could happen for real, if you know what I mean. Plus, the way you picture Micah's appearance is nice. To tell the truth, I really wanna read a clear description of his looks, but knowing it through others' reactions and words is not too bad.
I also like the way you construct your story. Not too fancy, but enough details to pull the readers along. To tell the truth, too many of flowery and polished details just screams headache and showing off to me. The intimate scenes are not graphic at all, but they're certainly romantic and loving. I kinda wish for more since I mostly read M-rated fics, but I think I can feel completely content with what you've got to offered.
Please keep up with the good work. I don't read non-M-rated fics that much since I'm a pervert, but I guess I'm pretty blessed that most of the light fics I've read amaze me. Thank you.
I found and adored your site years and years ago. It was really your talents and work that pushed me into thinking about making my own stuff better. And I've been through a whole lot since the last time I even had the address to your site... so coming back to it is like coming home. I cried when I found it just because I was so overjoyed to put a finger on the source that inspired me to create some of the things that I've made now.
Anyway, I missed reading your stories. And Angel Eyes-- yeah, maybe it has a fluffy ending, but real life is hard enough. You have a talent for ending things the way they should be ended-- often bittersweet and beautiful. I'm glad I found your site again.

I have been reading your stuff for a couple of years now. Seriously, I have read everything at least a couple of times. Your work is really captivating. Being a writer of simular genre myself, I can appreciate not only your skill but your bravery in putting yourself out there. I haven't gotten there yet, myself.
Keep up the good work. Oh, how about a few more chapters on your major works?

i am soo happy to see an update after such a long time, i can't even say in words how happy that one made me. Thank you
Long time ago I have read translation on Russian 3 chapters of Your "Westland".
Since then I'm dreaming of reading it all.
Where is this wonderful story of yours?
I love your stories, my favorite one being the Walls of Astyanax. I'd wish you would finish that story, pretty please? That and the Waterstreet Mill, I'm glad you continued it.
Have just finished reading "The Waterstrret Mill". Love it, absolutely, completely love it! I hope that this story is continued and await with great anticipation a new chapter.
Your writing style is engrossing and human, your characters are likable and easy to sympathise with in turn. I also love your plot twists and didn't see most of them coming which is very refreshing!
I really hope to see more of this soon and am so glad I found this site!
