| Comments: | Lots of great info & some great adventures. Done some similar stuff hiking + we raced at the 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo in 2008 & it snowed in Tucson.
Looking at The 24 Hours in The Enchanted Forest near Gallup & it looks like you have ridden some of the trails used so I may be it touch if you don't mind. Cheers Roy aka the BeerBiker |

| Comments: | Gordon,
It was great riding with you at Lunch Loops at night. It was perhaps the best ride of my year. So far. Looking forwards to seeing the 2010 pictures. I'll hope to catch up to you on the trail again. Somewhere, sometime. |

| Comments: | I got the link to this when searching for reviews of Jumping Pound Trail in Canadian Rockies. I am doing a trip similar to yourself but in much fewer days starting in Banff and ending in Vancouver. Your views have helped to weed out the rides not worth doing. I want good views and good technical singletrack and enjoyable downhills! No doubt I'll get a few bear experiences in there too. |

| Comments: | We are stuck in Las Vegas for a couple of weeks. While here we discovered Bootleg Canyon, and a track called Caldera. We found your site searching for Caldera. Nice site, and you have some nice, very well documented holidays.
We have done many of the same rides as yourself. We sold our home (one week ago) and moved from Springdale, Utah (outside of Zion NP). We had three fantastic years of riding the Slickrock Swamptrail from our back-door, as well as JEM, Hurricane Ridge, Gooseberry, Thunder Mountain, Brian Head stuff, and so much more. Now, we're on to the trails of Bend, Oregon. Keep up the great site, and keep on riding and writing! |

| Comments: | Hi there,
Googled Willow Camp in Marin County and up popped your site. Amazingly simple presentation! Nice and refreshing. Just the facts, but it drew me into reading your fun 2005 California vacation and bookmarking your site to browse on. I like the maps too, that was essentially what I was looking for. Thanks. I live in Marin and if you come out again, you have to ride Tamarancho in Fairfax. Maybe you have but give me a holler when you do. jb |

| Comments: | Nice journal; I read the most recient US one and was surprised that you do the trip solo. Are you not concerned about crashing/getting lost/other bad things?
Thanks for a great contribution to the web. Jason WD (aka flamejob) |

| Comments: | Looks like you lead a very fruitful life from the UK, and it looks like you're enjoying every minute of it. Congratulations on pursuing the dream...and in a way...living it. I had to laugh at the "donations" request. Sorry, but when I see a picture of the Mercedes, I'm not feeling too sorry for you. :-)
Anyway, good luck, keep the rubber side down, and keep livin' the dream. David Steamboat Springs, CO |

| Comments: | Hi Singer! Pretty cool stuff you have on your website! I particularly enjoyed reading about your adventure in the Southwest. For any of your readers in Europe looking for a mountain bike vacation in Arizona, I am running tours in this exotic part of the world. For a base camp, we use a very comfortable RV (recreational vehicle) or "caravan" as they're known in Europe. This makes traveling to different locations really convenient on our guests. Renting an SUV; figuring out driving routes, hotels, restaurants and the best trails to ride can be quite overwhelming. Please check out my website.
Will check again soon to read about your next holiday blog. Cris |
