| Comments: | So the other day, as my mother and aunts lounged around the pool, one aunt said, "Boy, that Cinderella Man is a great movie! You should all see it!" My mother, being... well... old and out of touch with anything recent, goes to the closest Family Video to find it (keep in mind that it's still in theatres... Whatever though..). What does she end up bringing home? A Cinderella Story. Starring Hilary Duff. Throughout the whole movie, she kept saying, "Hm... Maybe this isn't the movie that Arlene was talking about!" Dur... | Comments: | I had to watch 2001: A Space Odyssey in my Music and Movies course at school... I left about 30 minutes in, because I was on the verge of stabbing a pencil into my eye or something. Monkeys...
I'm sure it's a perfectly wonderful movie, however, and maybe I should finish watching it someday. When I have no sharp objects handy. Anyway, sorry that your March was so crummy! Mine wasn't too spectacular either, but I managed to make it through without getting sick (after being around at least 5 people that coughed and sniffled all over me), so just for that, I say HOORAY MARCH. Although my computer got sick and cost me 80 dollars and a reformatting, so for THAT, I say DIE MARCH. But I'm getting off-track again. I finally saw Bend It Like Beckham. Actually, I made my mother buy it for me as a bribe to go shopping with her. That was a good movie! Really, really good. I'm in the middle of an India Fascination period in my life right now, so that helped. I'm sure aloo ghobi is tastier than chicken tikka masala... Blech. That Jonathan Rhys-Meyers is nice on the eyes too, eh? Yes. A HUGE congratulations on quitting smoking! That's awesome! I know it's tough to quit, but I'm glad you did! |
