I have always had animals in my life and they have sure helped me thru some rough times. We now have 3 manx cats, a pound puppy ( I call a peorkian terrior , pekineese and yorky ) and a large pound puppy ( boxer/ lab mix.) a guenia pig and on the farm are 22 cows.

| Comments: | I was just curious about the dapple color in this fabulous breed. My daughter has a 10-month old half-dachshund (red) female. Most folks THINK she's a purebred, but her haircoat is longer than a shorthair and her legs are too long to be a purebred dachshund. Her personality is ALL dachshund however. We just love her and I have vowed to never own a LARGE-breed dog, again. Last weekend, we were just in a pet supplies store and were treated to our first-ever look of a black-n-tan-dapple (mini) pup! I fell in love! If I ever get to own my OWN dachshund, I am sure it'll have to be a dapple. You are a PA breeder, so I am curious about the breed. |
