ou have an interesting website... Also, I am searching for information on John Samuel Helms, he was first known leaving North Carolina and moved to Florida's West Panhandle where he married a Davis and acquired property in what is now Homes County. Do not know if it was homesteaded or purchased. He died in 1955 at age 84, which his birth would be around 1871. John Samuel Helms was a barber and probably did other things as with most barbers in those days. I have found several John Helms, but not that followed the path of my grandfather. Thanks for any information you may have. Thanks Hueyis@hotmail.com

The DiFilippi was my father's original name when he arrived from Italy to Ellis Island. I have not successfully found him on the ship's manifest as he may have been born on the way over in 1906 to his parents Santos and Sarah. If you can lead me in the right direction in this search it would be greatly appreciated. David DePhillips

Hello. I have recently started researching into my family geneology. I noticed that you are looking for information on Albert Anastasia (Mad Hatter). I am also looking for a possible connection to him. My grandfather and great aunties and uncles refuse to speak of him when asked and just say that he is part of a different Anastasia family... no relation. But, I find it very interesting that I have a great-uncle named Albert Anastasia (old, but still living). As well, the male family names are all... Anthony's (grandfather & uncle), Frank's (great-grandfather and uncle), Ralph (great-uncle)... I have an ENORMOUS family on my dads side (Anastasia). The Anastasia side of my family is VERY italian and many of us live in western NY state. We also have relatives (another branch of our family - Anastasia's & Anastasio's) that live in New York City. Well, anyway. As I said, I am just starting to research into my family history. If you think that I can provide any information regarding what you are looking for, please feel free to contact me. Also, if you think that you may have information that would help me, please let me know that too. Thanks. This is a very nice website. It is obvious that you have done a lot of work. Very best of luck in your research. Kimberly (Anastasia) Delgado delgado115@yahoo.com
