I think things are going to be pretty good here in Winter Haven. The ride here went fine. Mom & Dad are taking turns sleeping in the family room with me for now. I get to run around in my new backyard and go for walks in the evenings. The 2nd day was weird. In the a.m. I got a bath and the next thing I know, Mom & my new little sister, Meagan are taking me home and I'm groggy as heck(& a little sore). But I'm O.K. now. Oh yea, the cat...well it's' big & fat (& a dark brown brindle like me). She doesn't like me very much & she scares the poop out of me! Thank you Donna & Carl for everything you do and saving me from a bad situation. Everyone has been real nice & seem to love me very, very much! We'll stay in touch. |

| Comments: | Hi Donna! We've had Letmtalk, now named Steve, for a couple of weeks now and we just adore him! An older greyhound (he is 7) can make such a "greyt" member of the family, very quickly! We adopted him after losing our beloved grey Harry unexpectedly at the age of almost 7. I think Steve was so meant to be with us.
He has adjusted beautifully. He loves to ride in the car and loves walks. He gets along great with our children, whippet, daschund and two cats. He is such a sweet, wonderful dog. Thank you so much for all you do for the hounds. |

have seen at the convention center where i work. They came with a medical association. They were called therapy dogs. Anyway, i fell in love with the first one i seen on your website. His name is Farmer, DOB 3-27-02 I sure do love him already. I am sure you know about the Hurricane that hit New Orleans last year, well with loosing everything -- i could not afford at this time to fly him here to me. How long do you keep them? Just a little note to say Hello from JT's Rose Lynne & Why Tell Corbin. We are doing Great. Our new names are Maggie Lynne and Bobby Corbin. We have met several hounds from your kennel. We went to our 1st little show and we got honorable mentions. It was pugfest. Our mommy and daddy also put us in the pet idol contest. Our pictures are online at news-press.com/contests. | Comments: | I just got All Star from you today,and was a little worried because I got him on my lunch break from work, and had to take him back to work with me for the rest of the day..... WHY DID I EVER WORRY???? he was a perfect gentleman! We went to the pet store after work and he was actually a little put off by the guinnea pigs, a group of us laughed to see this huge dog scared of a guinnea pig. At home he has not paid any attention to the cats or ferrets! HE IS GREAT! I will send you updates! |

She is a joy to have and she loves her 2 mile walks each evening with me. She went through her spaying surgery without incident and has recovered wonderfully.
