Comments:It is so nice to see people honoring their parents. I was fortunate enough to spend much of my adult life close to my aging parents and enjoyed every little thing that I could do to improve their quality of life in their later years. Unfortunatly I paid too little attention to thier history and have been left with many unanswered questions regarding their earlier years. My father was a veteran and my mother was a nurse in England during WW2 and both had a reluctance to tell stories of their hardships before and during the early years of their marriage. I know how proud you are of your father and how gratefull we are to all the veterans who gave so much to give us the freedoms that we enjoy each and every day .

God Bless those who have done so much for us.

the bronze star sometime during the war but I havent been
