Ocallah was compassionate and sensitive to my crying jags on the phone. She validated SO much. Information she could not have possibly researched came through ... personal things no one would know! I met you at TCF, thank you for letting me know of your site. Wow, your "Guilt" writing is powerful. My son died March 1, 2006 he was 27 and although he was a young man, adult, on his own and living over 1,000 miles away. Tony was still my baby, I think if I had been a "better" mom and that others (their dad, my family) could have helped me more in raising my kids. He, they would have learned better life skills, he wouldn't have been drinking, he would have made wrong choices, he would have been out late. I know he's gone, he's here in Columbus or down there in Charleston, SC. My faith is far away at this time but, I hope that one day I will see him and that this God will no longer keep us apart. | Comments: | I just read your touching story and part of your Dreambook. It touched my heart. My son drowned May 15, 2004 while trying to recue a friend from the Pacific Ocean. They both drowned. It seems like only yesterday. I imagine my son (he was 33) in the water calling out for help (his Dad, my ex-husband) was there, but he didn't so much as get his feet wet to help my/our Son. If I had one wish, I would wish that I could see those final moments through my son's eyes and feel every emotion and feel any pain that he felt. I have so many unanswered questions. If anyone believes that the Spirits of our loved ones don't live on, let me tell you this, "you are wrong". My Son lets me know of his presence constantly. It is a big help. I love you Greg. |

I decided to have a look......I saw a face, it looks to be of a woman....I am not sure why I am so compelled, however, something told me to type in modern miracles into my web browser, yours is the first site I came to.....your story has touched my heart, my soul, my being,I can feel your pain,my empathy for you is strong,I am sure I do not make sense, but, I read your page on guilt. She should still be with you, but then she is and I am sure you feel her all around you. I understand the terrible pain you are enduring. I lost my beloved grandson to murder 6 years ago. What a beautiful thing to do for your daughter and for other people to see what a darling little girl you Logan was and is. I, too, have lost a daughter. Her name is Ashley Marie. She was my only daughter and the youngest of 4 children. She was 13 years old when she died. She went to heaven on April 19, 2002. A drunk driver took my daughter's life. Why he was out driving a car after 5 DWI's I'll never know. I do feel guilt over my daughters death, because the night she died, she wanted to go to a dance. It was her dad's weekend to spend with them and I told she had to spend sometime with her father. Ashley and one of my son's were in their dad's truck, when the drunk driver came down the wrong way on the highway. He hit the passenger side of the truck where she was sitting and she flew out the window. She died instantly. I keep telling myself that maybe if I wouldn't have been so selfish and let her go to her dance that night, that this wouldn't have happened, and that she would still be alive. I have only read part of you web site, but what I have read has brought tears to my eyes, thinking about your beautiful little Logan and my beautiful Ashley. I miss my girl so much, that there are days when I don't know if I can make it. Someday I will see her again and never let her go. I also enjoyed reading about the signs that you have received. There have been things that I have seen, but I am not sure that these were signs form Ashley. It makes me fool good to know that they could be. Thank you for sharing little Logan's life with us. |

I always keep a VERY close eye on her, but now I'm going to watch her even more, if that is even possible. Logan is there, watching over you, and smiling because she knows she was blessed with a wonderful family, even for the short time she was here. Yall are still her family, of course, and she is up there, running and playing, and God is telling her stories, and she is playing with all the other children who's lives were taken away from them.
