Hello, Jean Jaques!

I like Your Music so much, because it remembers me on my first (self build) Formant Synthesizer. (1 Volt/Octave techniqe, You´ll know that for shure)

Meanwhile i don´t need a Synthesizer anymore, because i learned to do this Sounds with my Mouth. Yes, it´s true! I learned that Sounds over Years of practice by listening to all the relevant Productions like "Switched on Bach" by Wendy Carlos and more ...

Since now, i did´nt run into the market with it. But if You are interested, Jean Jaques, You could be the first Person to work with me.

Give me a Wink and i´ll send You a Demo-mp3 ...

Best Wishes,
Christian Rubarth, Berlin - Germany

Hello Mr. Perrey,
Just a note of Thanks for your Vision in Music.
My Father introduced me to "The In Sound From Way Out" when I was a small child. With many family moves, the original record was lost forever.
I was inspired during a 1989 trip to Australia and heard the ever so familiar Perrey-Kingsley sounds on an Australian Radio station.
This is the first and last time that I heard this cherished music on the radio. Prior to the Internet there was no way to locate a replacement album. With EBAY technology in force now, I was able to obtain the original Vinyl, as well as find you.
At this time I am very "Happy" to see that you are active in new recordings.
I don't know what to say, except for extreme Thanks to You and my Father, both of you opened my mind to Electronic Music at a very young age.
Sincerely,
Patrick Kluge Baltimore Maryland USA

Hello Mr Perry!

First let me say that I have been a fan of your music for many years, so thank you for the joy you have given me!

I am writing you because I made a very interesting find at the WFMU record fair last week. I found two acetate discs marked Ondioline Demos! One contain some spoken parts by a frenchman--I thought it must be you!--and demonstrations of the sounds that are possible on the Ondioline, as well as tracks featuring the Ondioline along with orchestral backgrounds. The second disc is one side only and contains music recorded live at a hypnosis performance. The acetates were cut at Satellite in Fort Lee, New Jersey.

At any rate, I thought you might be able to help me figure out if these were your demos when you came to the U.S. to sell the Ondioline and when they might have been recorded. I have made a copy of the acetates to compact disc—if you give me an adress to send it to, perhaps you can listen to it and see if it is you.

Thank you for your time and again, many thanks for your brilliant music.

Your music has always been an inspiration to me ever since I was younger! I was so happy to find your web-page, and look forward to buying your CD's, etc. Never stop being a kid at heart! What ever happened to your project with working with dolphin-human language abilities? I love dolphins, too; and would like to know more about what you've discovered.. Your music always makes me smile! (^_^) ...Yours Truly,

Dear Mssr Perry and Mr Countryman,
I just received a copy of The Happy Electropop Music Machine. It is just like listening to JJP for the very first time in the early 1970's. The squeaks, burps, and giggles, the outrageously happy music....well...I have listened to the CD twice already, and my smile gets wider each time. I loved the music back then, and I love it all over again now!!
Mille merci, thank you so much for keeping the music alive! I hope one day you will perform on the west coast of Canada; it would be an honour to see you.

Kind regards,
Sherry Buttnor

In 1971 when I was at school my friend Adrian played me an LP he had just bought called "the amazing elctronic pop sounds of Jean-Jacques Perrey" or something similar!
Those tunes have stayed in my head ever since, I have just found your website and I can't help smiling at the photos etc.
Thanks for a lifetime of fun, I'm still looking to buy a copy of that LP...

Hi Jean-Jacques!

I love your music! I got the In Sound From Way Out album back in 1967 I think. It made me a determined fan of happy electronic music for the last forty years. It still makes me smile, especially Unidentified Flying Object and Spooks in Space.

I believe I have all your early albums. You can imagine my surprise in the mid-eighties, to visit Disney World and hear Baroque Hoedown playing on the parade.

I'm going to go order your new albums! Please make more!

Thanks,
Sandy

Jean-Jacques:
I first saw you on the old Wonderama TV show in the early 1960's. You and Gershon Kingsley played songs from "The In Sound From Way Out" and I was mesmerized. I ran out and bought the album - I found a monaural version! - and I played it so many times I wore it out.

I then heard your recording of "Strangers in the Night" on the old Glen Campbell show and I ran out to the stores, learned you had just released "Kaleidoscopic Vibrations" and I ordered it from the local record store. I played it over and over too!

Without question, I have always felt an amazingly strong emotional connection to your music. If I had to choose one song to call my favorits- from all the songs that ever resounded in my ears from any source - it would have to be "Visa To The Stars". A simply beautiful melody and musical tone that tugs at my heart every single time I hear it.

It would mean the world to me to have you write back to me at the email address I have typed in below. I am a 55 year old (somewhat mature!) man, with a 33 year old son and a beautiful wife of 35 years. But I have never outgrown your music - I have every album in CD form now too. "Moog Indigo" included! And I just ordered your latest collaboration with Dana Countryman. I can't wait to play it!

You have been my "musical hero" since I was a young teen. I hope that you and your music live on for centuries to come!

Thank you for all the joy you have brought into my life!
