The workshop in North California is the best CPNE workshop for your money, since I attended both Chancellor's and CHE (Continuing Health Education) I can do the comparison and tell everyone both are excellent workshops.
I can honestly tell you the one of the differences why I believe CHE was better for me was, the students received extra time to practice in the morning and evening on the lab stations and AOC with the fellow students or with the instructor. If you skill is rusty or lacking like mine was that extra two hours or more to practice was a BIG plus for me. CHE also provides great mnemonics that have really helped me. At Chancellors the information was great, but the only draw-back was no extra time to practice. You must know your Lab Stations (by the textbook or carjack as it is nicknamed) Critical Elements and be able to perform and document on them during your CPNE. After the workshops, I think the CPNE this is a doable exam and it’s your Anxiety and Nerves that make you fail this exam. My CPNE is the weekend of June 10th, 2005 and I will keep everyone posted. Hi Tina,
Paper will be too short to write the enormous help that I got from you within a limited time I could afford. You not only gave the complete knowledge, strength and confidence for the preparation of CPNE but also additionally helped me to make my path lot easier for some of the left over program at your own time, expenses and sincere efforts. I wished to be in the first batch, and I'm proud to be among many who joined from thousands miles away from this place. I vehemently agree with Ms Annmarie's comments about the fabulous benefits of the program in comparison to little money. You not only made the program very interesting and comprehensive, you also updated latest changes by inviting/presenting students who provided the latest information about CPNE. I don't have adequate words to thank you for your sincere intent to help the students. There is no doubt that you compiled your great practical experiences from your own academic achievements by obtaining Master's degrees from reputed National Universities, and also working as a teacher for many years. Once again I thank you for taking pains to present the program for welfare of students, and also congratulate you for the success. I wish, you continue to render this great service to the student community. I emphatically recommend to all for taking the wonderful opportunity offered by you to pass the CPNE. Sincerely, Ashok. ashokrajagreat@yahoo.com

hello.. i took and passed my cpne last june 3,4 and 5... prior to taking my cpne... i attended a workshop offered by tina and it was very helpful to me... at the workshop i was able to practice, learn and review the critical elements of the cpne... cpne is stressful... one way of decreasing the stress level is to gain confidence... i gained confidence while i was doing the workshop because i was able to practice and validate the things that cpne requires... and also other students attending the workshop can be helpful too... you can arrange a group study with other student if it is possible... if you want to pass cpne... practice, practice and practice and get all the help you can get.. hopefully it'll make taking cpne easier and less stressful... GOODLUCK!

Tina,
What can I say that doesn't sound like I am hyping your CPNE Prep classes too much? The fact is that I AM HYPING your CPNE Prep classes as the best in the business. I have attended other preparation classes and they did not even compare with yours. The supplies and equipment in the lab were first rate and we had much more then any other prep class that I have attended. The course work was intense, and the amount of time that you devoted to each of us as an individual was fantastic. In my case, I had waited so long for a test date that my confidence was lacking. You, Tina gave me a "can do" attitude and with the wonderful class instruction, I had the skills I needed to pass the CPNE on May 27,28, and 29, 2005. What I can say is, that if I were in this position again, I would recommend that students do not waste their money on any other preparation class. You offer small classes, intense instruction, individualized assistance, and teach what one needs to know in order to be successful. Not only do you offer this fantastic class, but you offer yourself and provide us with the energies needed to combat our self- doubts and to believe in our abilities to perform. You have been there yourself and realize how stressful this CPNE really is. Tina, you can relate and are very empathatic, and you give of yourself. For the readers that do read this site and my posting, I have nothing to gain by suggesting that you attend CHEducation'ie: Tina's preparation classes. I have no hidden agenda and only want to see others be successful because I know how very, very devastating failure can be. In summation, if you want to succeed at this enroll with Tina. God Bless!

I recently passed my CPNE in Long Beach in June. I am so happy I am finally done with the CPNE after obsessing over it for so long. I wanted to write and tell others about what I found helpful in preparing for the CPNE. The workshop in San Jose was so helpful to me that I now want to tell others about this workshop too. I want others to benefit from such a good workshop too as I have benefited. I don’t have any personal stake in this workshop. I just want all those who attempt the CPNE to be successful. I truly feel that without this workshop, it would have been very difficult for me to pass the CPNE.
I had been preparing for the CPNE for the last few months. I took few workshops to help myself prepare for the CPNE. Looking back, when I compare all the workshops, this workshop was the best. I learned more in 5 days than I learned in others that were offered over two months time. Now I know this is the only workshop I needed to prepare me for the CPNE. I really appreciated all the help that Tina provided in her workshop. I was so impressed with the workshop. She was so organized and all the activities were perfectly planned out for the full 5 days of the workshop. All the lab stations were just like the ones I saw at the CPNE. Tina provided extra time to help me for weeks even after the class was over. She was able to give a very realistic picture about what to expect by sharing her own personal CPNE experience. She was always motivating and encouraging and she helped me believe that I can do it. She instills so much confidence in you that you believe you can do anything. I've never before met such a positive person.

I took Tina's workshop 7/1 - 7/5 and then flew to Syracuse on 7/6 to begin CPNE on 7/8. Tina's workshop was so helpful in preparing me for CPNE. Her class is incredible and I went into the CPNE with confidence and calmness because I knew I was well prepared. I passed the Labs on first attempt. They were easy after all the practice I got in Tina's class. I was able to complete the critical elements in the CPS using the grid Tina taught us in class. I felt very organized and in control. I am so grateful and thankful I found Tina's class before doing my CPNE. I just mailed off my State Borad application today. OH HAPPY DAY!!!

Tina,
I looked through more of your extremely professional website and found this forum of students who have taken your workshop. I am so happy to have read all of these, as it has instilled alot of hope for me. After receiving the CPNE examination manual, I felt a great deal of distress. I have been a nurse for a number of years and I know I am a good nurse....but you don't think about every little critical element at work, you just do it. Having someone observe you is nerve wracking. I have information from Rue and Chancellors and they claim a 96 and 98% passing rate for their workshop.I was excited about the workshop, but after reading what people have said about your workshop, I have decided to make plans on flying out to your workshop. you are the only one that offers at least 8 hours or more of classroom time for 5 days. Excelsior's is only 8 hours for 3 days. with your current teaching background and the fact that you are a former Excelsior CPNE success story only makes my decision to join your workshop over the others. Thanks so much for a wonderful site and I'm glad I found you. Sincerely, Lynette O'Gara Deltona, Florida

Imagine having failed the CPNE, despite having more than 10 years experience of bedside care and have studied, truely studied for 3 solid months, 8 telephone chats with Excelsior nursing instructors--The CPNE seemed the wall to my dream. All the test I had taken before seemed like grade school homework compared to this college level Obstacle course.
I felt frustrated, alone and inadequate. I questioned my abilities. I failed in April 2005 because I could not get my drip count right--I had barely passed all--ALL of the adult and pediatric PCS's. After taking the workshop, I know the mistakes the clinical examiner could have failed me for. I placed myself on the waitlist and found CHE. My workshop leader was Tina--a college professor that teaches both anatomy and microbiology. Tina is a bright, enthusiastic person who really shows she cares for her students. She gives you the knowledge that she learned from attending three other workshops including Excelsior. She sprinkled in stories of other CPNE students. I was able to practice my lab skills and patient care senarios. I loved the feedback from a graduate of Excelsior College. I passed the CPNE with High Flying Colors. Even the CA complimented me on my skills. Others may promise to show you the Excelsior way--but really, no other class allowed me the time to gain the confidence and composure necessary to spend another $1575 for the CPNE plus travel arrangements. The CPNE can and has shaken the most skilled, nerves of steel LVN, EMT, RCP (RT), CNA, and surgical technician. There is a way to pass this test--CHE helped me--I think this workshop can help you. Though many have taken the CPNE and passed without any workshop--but some are like me and need the structure of a classroom, like the interaction with other like-minded students, and need the extra time to practice the lab stations, patient care senarios and documentation (mar, planning, implementation and evaluation phase charting). Best of luck, Sonya--Graduate Nurse

I passed my CPNE this weekend at Syracuse and I highly attribute my success to attending Tina's workshop. It was really a blessing in disguise that I was able to attend the workshop a few days before my scheduled CPNE. I felt I knew the critical elements but I had a lot of questions running in my mind that was dividing my concentration. After the workshop, I felt very confident, prepared, organized and motivated. I also felt that Tina was very concerned on making sure that we are fully prepared for the exam and even offered extra day for us to practice the lab and one on one PCS. She urges us to use the supplies to make sure we are comfortable with it and sometimes I felt that I had underpaid her services. She had exhausted all her effort and time just to make sure I have all my hesitations gone.
For all those who have their CPNE scheduled in the near future, I highly advice that you enroll with Tina a month before. As I've told everyone, you will thank me later. I'm very happy to be a part of this workshop and looking forward to the "cruise".

Hi There,
Tina's class was an abbrviated three day version and it was well worth the drive. The other nursing students were wonderful to work with also. Tina will take you through all that you feel you want to learn. If you have any questions they will most certainly be answered. If you feel you are lacking in any skill, you will have ample opportunity to hone those skills until you are comfortable wiyh your ability to perform those skills. There is such limitless opportunity to learn and practice every single item and critical element within the CPNE that you cannot possibly leave her workshop without being as prepared as you want to be for taking the CPNE. I would recommend however that you take this workshop close to your testing date so as to retain as much as possible the information she presents. Take copious notes during the class for there are little tidbits and tips and cues that might not be remembered otherwise. She's a great gal and she truly wants you to pass! Good Luck on your CPNE. If you are going to take the CPNE, you must take Tina's prep course. She is extremely thorough and will take you step by step through EVERY area. Her lab set up is great, and set up just like the real exam. I attended Excelsior's workshop too and left there feeling like I didn't learn much and like I wasted my $. Tina's course on the other hand, was worth every penny. I passed the CPNE on my first try with no pcs or lab failures, I attribute much of my success to this course. Tina is also a great motivator, you will leave this class feeling like you can take on the world!

I would like to say a special Thank You, Tina for all of the support you gave me everyday during my CPNE exam you can't put a price on that.
Everyone that’s planning to attend a workshop, I can tell you that CHE is the best workshop to me that’s out there now, I've attended Rue's and Chancellors workshops and they don't measure up to Tina's. Imagine Friday night when you’re given your first PCS to write your care plan on, Tina will call you before you even call her to ask you about your Labs stations and to listen and give you suggestions on your PCS care plan. I was so thankful and I passed my CPNE. Tina, I would love to make a trip to San Jose once I am done with my NCLEX-RN exam and tell you class my experience. Sincerely, Annmarie Robinson

Hi there, i hope that to the people reading this, is for there support and motivation. To tell you the truth, when i myself read things like this, i wonder if they are real, or they are just created by the owner of the website. Well, for those of you who are like me, you can email me at my personal email at any time Ramirez_Ivan@msn.com. If you are thinking twice about taking this workshop, dont. I took the CPNE 8/26/05, i just passed at St clare hopsital, in NY. I think i could have passed the pcs part of the CPNE without attending Tina's workshop, problem, i would have not even gotten to the pcs part. i would have failed, wihtout a doubt all the labs. I was pretty confident of my skills prior to the workshop, i was extremely worried during the workshop because i realized how much help i needed, but i left there ready to take my cpne. To be honest, i did not open the folder that tina gave me till i was on the flight to new york. ( dont tell tina please!) I left the workshop so confident and prepared, i felt like there was nothing to study for anymore. what you get from the workshop, its like mastercard says, "priceless." Not just the material, but the support and follow up from tina. She reached me twice during the week prior to my cpne to see if i had any questions or concerns. At that time, i didnt have any, but come on, really, where do you get that kind of follow up from a 500 dollar workshop? The experiece from the labs at tina, man, just that is worth it. I would have been a perfect 4/4 on friday labs, but i didnt a dumb mistake, but i came right back and passed it on saturday. I had many years experience doing head to toe assesment on adults and pediatrics and doing a lot of the things they ask for in the cpne, thats is why i say that imight had passed without the workshop. But, if you dont have this advantage, go to this workshop. She will give you tips on how to memorize things that will just make your life 10 times better. I drove 8 hours to tina's class. I woke up at 2:00 Am the morning of the first class, and drove all night and early morning to get there right at 9. Trust me, it was worth every little bit of my effort. After what she does for you, its like, you dont want to pass for yourself, you almost want to pass to not let her down and show her that her hard work pays off. I hope this helps a few of you, and like i said, any questions, you are welcomed to email me. Have a good day, and good luck to you. A degree is waiting for you!!!

Hello, all! If you are looking for a workshop...look no further than this site. Tina is the only prep you will need for the CPNE! I have been an LVN for 5 years, and am sure that after taking Tina's class, that is the only way I made it through the CPNE. I took the class in June, then finished my CPNE in August and passed at RACINE. I went in two weeks before the CPNE, and then two days before I left, and I felt ready! I passed the labs without any repeats, and I went through the PCS's by the grace of Tina (and a million prayers) and her wonderful pneumonics! She gives you everything that you need to succeed! She is wonderful! I am happy to come in any time and help her students! Hope to see you there! Chris

"Take Tina's class!!" The only statement I need to make. I took the Excelsior Workshop and quite frankly it was extremely disappointing(and expensive). The college's workshop was helpful only for the lab stations and provided little to no insight on what to expect during the your PCS's. Tina's workshop covers everything you need to know from day one to day three, you will much better prepared and have the confidence you need to pass this exam. Excelsior college's workshop just provided you with enough information to make you scared and Tina's workshop will help you make sense out of all the madness. If you want to pass you have to sign up with her. Best of luck.

Hello guys, if you are going to take cpne soon and don't know what to study or even you kind of known but don't be so confident yet remember anxiety will make you forget things (if you forgot one a little thing ,they failed U ). Trust me, I can not pass this cpne without Tina . She has a wonderful lab there for you to practice, excellent pneumonics those help to assess and document for pcs . I just passed pcne last weekend at St. Clare Hosp in Schenectady, NY. On Friday, I failed one of the lab because I was so nervous . Tina called me, she calmed me down. On Saturday, I pass 2pcs and pass repeat lab. On Sunday, no problem with last pcs. I can not believe cpne is over. Thanks to Tina so much. Taking her class make me confidence and well repair for cpne. However, She is not finish with me, she always follow up to check how I am doing? She calmed me down, helped me with first pcs nursing diagnosis. Especially, she prayed so hard for me. Thank you so much Tina more than I can say.
From my experience, I am strongly recommend yours guys to take Tina class if you really want to pass the cpne. Good luck to all of you. Vivian

I just want to comment on how helpful Tina's Cpne workshop was in assisting me to pass my Cpne this August. It would have been most difficult for me to pass the cpne without the hours and hours of hands on training that I received from the workshop. Tina truly is there to help you with your weaknesses and give you valuable insight on the cpne process. By the end of her workshop I felt confident with my nursing careplans, simulation stations, medication administration and vital signs, just to name a few. If you are determined to pass the cpne and are willing to study hard and practice long hours, then I would recommend to attend this workshop. This is probably the only workshop out there were you get as much hands on training that you want and you don't have to wait to practice at the stations.
Thanks a million Tina, Natasha

Tina's workshop is amazing. I had gone to Excelsior's workshop, which cost more money, but Tina's is so much better. She has more lab stations, more space, real simulated hospital rooms so that you can practice PCS's. Tina's workshop is 5 days long and she will open it up at 8 am and keep it open as long as you need to be there. She is tireless! I took the workshop immediately before taking the CPNE and I passed with no repeats. No failures!
Tina is such a special person. I have been raving about her ever since I came back from the workshop. She will reduce your anxiety by at least 50 percent. The best thing is that she made me feel so peaceful about life in general. Instead of feeling stressed before the CPNE, I felt happy and enjoyed the beautiful world around me. You've got to meet her. -Rhonda Phillips

HiTina, Just a note to tell you that I did pass the CPNE last week in Columbus. I would not have been able to pass it without your workshop. To others who are looking, this workshop is worth much more than what Tina is charging for it. Her knowlege of the CPNE testing process is invaluble to those taking the test. Learn what she says, do it the way she says to do it, and write things the ways she teaches to write them and you too should pass. I am so thankful for the opportunity to have been able to take this workshop. It was exactly what I was looking for and Tina provided much more than I expected. Thanks again Tina.

I am still to take the CPNE, and Tina's CHE workshop for the CPNE is an excellent source of assurance to what you already know. She "empowers" you to pass the exams. She reminds you how far you have struggled and brings the tasks to be done back to perspective: We have paid and taken all the prerequisites, spent time and effort for all of these, and we want to get the degree; and it is there, we just have to get it, and show up for it. She will perform nursing practice above and beyond the standards for us to do; these are unquestionable practices, and no one will question your performance on the CPNE. She cares so much for you to pass, she will tell you how to be efficient without fumbling or accidentally placing your papers where unsterile. The attitude during the CPNE is: "C'mon CE, I will show you what I can do, come." See the pictures, all her equipment are complete. You will get to practice on a surprise patient. All fears will go away! When I first chanced upon her website, I had questions myself, but she is real, and you will feel her goal is she only wants you to pass. Free snacks as well.

I have known Tina for about 2 years. We both attended another school that was geared towards nursing concepts 1-7. after completing the classes I was ready to take the CPNE class. demonstrating lots of confidence and being ritual about my studies I absorbed what was instructed in the class. Off to LB to be a RN. To make a long story short......... I failed the CPNE and was despondent for about a year. I heard Tina was starting her own class and at first I was very reluctant. but told her " can you please send me some info about your class" about a week later I recieved the info and was I impressed!!!! I figuired if the written material was this good the class must be great!!. I attended her classes spent the entire week with other students and Tina sometimes 14 hours a day and absorbed everything she taught. And honestly, I must say the time in class was enjoyable and made me feel very relaxed and confident. 2 weeks later I came back from the East coast as a RN. EVERYTHING THAT TINA TEACHES IN THE CLASS IS EXACTLY AS IT OCCURED DURING THE LABS\PCS. Tina not only is a execllent instructor, but she explains why things are that way. Before, with Excelsior workshop I just memorized what they told me but was clueless as to why I was documenting it this way. Tina spent the time to explain everything in great detail. As a matter of fact I wanted to call her during my cpne in Wisc. with a list of questions and I pondered for 3 days any questions to ask her. She was so thorough I honestly could not think of one question to ask her!! When I finally did call her Monday she said she was " waiting for my call all weekend" I not only recommend her class but I am insistent that you must take her class!! If you are like me and want every advantage you can get to pass the cpne and get your house back to normal( put labs and books away) Take Tina's class.

I strongly recommend that anyone preparing for the CPNE take Tina's workshop! I went to the CPNE and passed my first try largely because of the way Tina prepared me for the workshop. I live in Colorado and am still breastfeeding my daughter so my family came with me. I took a leap of faith driving my family halfway across the country to attend her workshop and it was well worth the effort.
First off, Tina is an all around good person. She calls and checks on people and offers her help in any way she can prior to your workshop and your test. Even after my test while I was waiting in the airport to go home, she spent an hour talking to me about the NCLEX. Secondly, her workshop is several hundred dollars cheaper than any other I checked out. She has a set up with a Holiday Inn for a $59 dollar rate which is great for the San Jose area. I think rooms there usually go for over $120 which is a great price break. Third, the information I received in her workshop was very accurate. The labs were identical and she lets you practice as much as you need providing all the supplies you need to practice with. She breaks things down to the most simple terms for labs, care plans, and practical skills taking the fear of the unknown out of the equation. The major majority of my fear came from the unknown so having the information there helped tremendously. She also recommended to the class that they call and get on a cancellation list if they felt prepared. I bumped my date from Dec. 2 to Sept. 23, 2 weeks after I returned from her workshop and I doubt that I would have done that without her encouragement. So, here I sit 2 months before my original date with my CPNE behind me! Do yourself a favor and take Tina's workshop!

Of the two workshops I attended, Tina's was hands down the one that helped me pass the CPNE on the first try, TODAY 10-09-05. She gives right-on info (the other didn't)and updates constantly. You get way more for your time and money than any other. She is very well qualified and really cares if you pass, AND she wants us to be good nurses, not just a test passer. She follows up on her students. I know $500.00 sounds too good to be true for such a long class, but it is wayyy true. It will pass you if you listen to her.

I took my CPNE this past weekend oct 14-16 a week after attending Tina's workshop. I must say i don't think I would have done it without it. It was very thorough and exact. My lab stations were just as practiced at the labs in Tina's workshop. Her neumonics were right on point The days were long, but well worth it. It is definately worth the money. I almost didn't go because money was tight, but Im glad i did. Tina is wonderful, and really gets involved with her students at the workshop. Her wonderful husband was also there to help us with labs. Thank u so much Tina, I thank God for u.......

I thought I was prepared for the CPNE until I took Tina's clinical workshop. I can't believed that there was a lot more that I did not know. I attended her workshop a week before my CPNE and I passed my CPNE at Meriter Madison Hospital. While I was working with my patients, I always visualed how Tina showed me the critical elements and it helped me to not forget anything. I am so glad that I attended her workshop She is the best. She explained everything so simply. I highly recommended her workshop.

Tina's workshop did the trick.
I took 2 other workshops took the CPNE in Long Beach and failed. I took Tina's workshop and she let me know exactly what to expect. I retook the the test in Racine, WI, which is the best place by far to take it. The CE's and CA want you to succeed. I was confident due to Tina's workshop. Thanks Tina

I ATTENDED TINA'S WORKSOHP AND FOUND IT TO BE VERY RELAXED ENCOURAGING AND VERY STRAIGHT FORWARD. SHE TOOK THE TIME TO REALLY GO THRU EACH CRITICLE ELEMENT. TO THE POINT THAT SHE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO ENSURE EACH STUDENT FELT CONFIDENT IN THEMSELVES AND THEIR ABILITY TO PASS THE EXAM. MY HATS OFF TO YOU, KNOW IF YOU WILL JUST PREPARE A COURSE FOR THE NCLEX THAT WOULD BE AUSSOME

I passed the cpne at Amarillo, TX. I couldn't have done it without Tina's workshop that I've attended 2 wks before my test.If you're thinking of attending a workshop, I highly recommend hers. I have attended both EC and Tina's and found out that her workshop is very helpful.I should have known this workshop before and wouldn't have gone to EC's. She will teach you how to make a grid and oh boy, the 20 min check is really helpful for me. Being organized during the exam is one of the keys to be successful. One more thing, she'll support to the very end, she was my lifeline on Friday night with my take home first pcs.

I passed the CPNE in Madison, WI Oct 28-30th, 2005. I went with a very positive attitude, a "can do" attitude. I calmed myself with breathing (you know, in the nose, out the mouth) and thought about everything I did before I did it. I passed all 4 labs Friday night. Saturday morning I got my first patient and was cautious about the handwashing which became so natural that I really didn't have to think about it. I passed all my PCS's the first time. I had no repeats of anything. I did get together with the other students and although they don't recommend it I found it comforting in a strange environment and we hugged and encouraged each other good or bad. I had been warned about an instructor who a student had failed with previously but I just listened and then when I had that instructor I had already decided that I was going to pass because this was my exam, I am a different person, and there was a different PCS. Of course I passed. Anyways, be positive, take "CAN'T" out of your vocabulary, breathe, slow down....you CAN do it! Don't give up. Oh by the way, I've decided to add back rubs into my every day care once I get my RN position. The patients absolutely love it! Let's Get 'R' done!!!!
P.S. I guess I got a little off-track. Tina's workshop is the best. She is kind, compassionate, and always encouraging and a strength to all. Her skills lab is just like you'll see at the exam and her workshop is so thorough in comparison with Excelsior College. Keep practicing!!!! GO SEE TINA!!!!!!

I passed at St. Mary's in Madison, WI on nov 4-6. I was a little nervous, but thanks to Tina's workshop it would have been worse. I passed all the lab sim. without difficulties. Tina's labs were very helpful giving me plenty of practice and ideas on how to set up my own practice stations at home and in the hotel room. I passed all pcs's the first time thanks to Tina's mnemonics and grid setup. After practicing them everyday for a week prior to CPNE is filling my grid out in a couple of min. I think it really helped to be orginized prior to the test. Tina is very good at getting everyone involved in class and even though the days are long they are packed with helpful information. Thanks for the stress reduction and helpful planning.

I passed the CPNE in Albany this weekend with flying colors: all take one in labs and PCS's; no repeats. Thanks to Tina's positive thinking approach and scripts for therapeutic communication for the PCS's. Plus the skills I learned were above and beyond what they looked for labs or PCS-wise. My documentation, like the skills, was based on the grids I learned which covered all critical elements. My evaluation phase was clear. I impressed the CA and CEs. Tina does not only teach you to pass the CPNE but teach you to be an excellent nurse wherever you go. The workshop should be called "be the best nurse" workshop. You will be and the school will grant you your deserved degree. This workshop is also for those who'd rather have the content taught instead of learned alone with so many interpretations of a study guide no one could explain well and directly to me, except for Tina, of course. Thanks Tina!

I am still in shock at passing the CPNE first try and owe my success to alot of hard study ,determination,
faith and hope and of course Tinas strategies and her mneumonics system. Her workshop was fun and so informative and it feels sooooo good this Thanksgiving to be sharing my testimonial with all of you.I know I would have failed if I had not gone to San Jose.I reccomend both actually-Tinas and Excelsiors but go to Tinas first and know those CEs by heart before going to the other.I passed all three PCSs and failed one lab with a dumb mistake.I tested in Racine and the CA was great ,the CEs were fair and the staff at both the hospital and the hotel (Marriot) were excellent.I had a peds substuitute and was so happy.Only 2/6 passed the weekend of 11/18,19 and 20 th.I felt bad for the others but I was elated to be on the GN list. All my CPNE stuff is now out in the garage and it feels sooooooo good to not have to read any more of that study guide.Best of luck -keep focused and do what Tina tells you -know this exam inside and out and you will master it.Bye for now. I attended Tina's workshop November 11-14th,just one week before taking and passing the CPNE in Racine, 11/18-20th. Everything came together for me at the workshop, and I truly owe much of my success to Tina. I had been preparing for several months, but didn't really "get it", and solidify my plan untill I completed the workshop. Tina's plan allowed me to have such confidence, and to stay focused throughout each pcs. I never lost track of where I was, and I knew I could not forget a critical element or fail to complete any required charting as long as I stuck with my organizational plan. The bottom line is I could never have been so prepared and confident without Tina. The advantage her students have is imeasurable. You will gain all the tools required for success, and will finally,TRULY UNDERSTAND the CPNE.

I passed my CPNE this weekend in Racine, WI. Great site!!. Very friendly CE's. Everything is exactly what Tina teaches you in her class. I passed my CPNE because of Tina. Her class, her black binder, her encouragement and her being there for me every day every hour I needed her. Opened her class for me to practise on Saturday and Sunday's. She replied every email questions I sent to her within few hours. She even called me 3 AM (Ca. time)on Saturday morning (day of my first PCS) to give me the encouragement and answer any questions I may have. Who else will do this much?? She really wants each and every one of you to pass. Please, please I encourage you to take her class and see the difference.
Wish you all the best! | |

I passed the CPNE in Racine, Wisconsin on January 4-6, 2005. I know that I could not have done it without all of Tina’s help. I had very minimal clinical experience and Tina got me ready to test. She goes through every aspect of the CPNE from start to finish. From what to wear to how to fold your papers. From how to do an assessment to how to write a careplan. She was available with calming motivation and support whenever I entered panic mode. (Which was quite frequent!) Her workshop is the most comprehensive from any that I have seen. I would say that this workshop is a MUST for anyone nervous about the CPNE. Listen to Tina- she’ll get you through it!! Tina- I can never thank you enough!!!

I can't thank Tina enough for her workshop and support. I took her workshop and then a month leter went to Syracuse to pass the CPNE on the first time. I know it is an intense four days going from 8am -8pm and after, but it is well worth it. (Don't plan on sight-seeing here!) She has enough lab stations and hospital beds that no one is standing around waiting a turn to practice. I actually flew from the other side of the United States (PA) to attend this workshop and would do it again. Think about it...who else would get up with you at 3 am CA time to over your careplan the mornings of your exam. Saved me on my first PCS. Good luck to all on your CPNE's. Just relax and breathe...remember the CE's are human too.

I attended Tina's workshop. One month later, I took the CPNE for the second time. Only this time, I had so much confidence and knew I knew what I needed to do to be successful. Even though I was still nervous, my confidence in myself prevailed. When I took the CPNE the first time, Tina's workshop was not yet available. Had it been, I am pretty sure I probably would have passed the first time. I had attended Chancellors, Rues and PDS's workshops in preparing for my first CPNE, knew my critical elements frontwards and backwards, but those classes just did not give me the tools I needed, as I had no other prior hospital experience. However, the four days spent with Tina made all the difference in the world to me; my whole attitude changed from an attitude of fear to an attitude of "I can and will do this," and I knew that I would be successful this time.
This is absolutely the best CPNE workshop out there. Tina's is the only workshop needed to be successful during the CPNE weekend.

Thanks to Tina I passed the CPNE at SRMC with no retakes. The only thing I did to prepare for it was to take Tina's workshop and practice what she taught me for four nights on my own. I have no previous nursing experience. The skill labs are exactly as Tina teaches and there were no surprises on the PCSs. The workshop is a good time and is money well spent. SRMC is a great place to test also. CA and CEs are all very nice.

I did it! Passed in Madison this weekend. Tina's workshop is very thorough and gave me the added confidence I needed. Her workshop is superior to those offered by Excelsior.
From Wife Lori Sides: Thanks Tina! I called Tina at the last minute to inquire about her workshop. My husband was scheduled to take the CPNE in a short 4 weeks and although he had once attended the Excelsior workshop, I felt he needed more. She was willing to fit us in at the last minute and her workshop is just what "WE" both needed. Although I am a nurse, I did not attend Excelsior College, therefore I could not give him the training and confidence he needed to survive the CPNE. Last weekend he passed! I recommend this workshop to anyone who is preparing for the CPNE. Best of Luck to all. You are about to embark on THE GREATEST career there is to offer.

Guess what everyone, I PASSED the CPNE on the weekend of Feb 24-26 at SRMC in Atlanta, GA. I passed everything without having to do any repeat labs or PCSs. I was done at 9:40AM on Sunday morning. What an amazing experience it was. I want to thank Tina for offering this great workshop. It really helped me pass. Without it I think I would have had some serious trouble. But Tina showed us the right way to do things, what to look for and what to document. The equipment that she uses for the simulation labs are same equipment that was used at the actual CPNE. Just one hint, if you do your CPNE at SRMC, practice your simulation labs on a smaller table,(that's if you have your own setup at home) because at that site the tables for the four sims labs are very small because the room is small itself. The CEs were great and I can assure you that they want you to pass. I'm already studying for the NCLEX_RN and hopefully I'll be eligible to take it near the end of April or the beginning of May. Trust me, Tina's workshop is fantastic and I highly recomend it.

Not only is the workshop thorough (to say the least), I've never met somebody that so genuinely cares about your success.
My hospital training is very limited. Following Tina's workshop, I felt very confident going into the CPNE. Tina covers all aspects of the CPNE. When you get to the CPNE, you will understand all that is expected of you the first time around. I passed all my PCS's without any repeats. I only needed to pass 1 lab station once because i went overtime(my big hands kept contaminating the hub of the syringe). I was done at 10:30am on Sunday. Out of my weekend in Amarillo, the three of us that went to Tina's workshop passed with no repeats. We were all done on Sunday morning. Please email if you need any help. Mark

I strongly recommend taking Tina's workshop! I took the workshop in Feb and tested in Plano, TX on the weekend of March 17th. I felt prepared to take the test because of Tina's workshop. Reading the material and watching videos in no way prepared me as the workshop did. Tina's workshop has the actual stations set up for you to pracitce on and you even do role playing as the patient, CE and tester. I felt I knew what to expect.
Once you are done with the workshop your not left on your own for the test. Tina remains available for questions and you have the a network of other students to call or e-mail that have taken the workshop. I spoke with Tina the Friday night of my test she answered questions and helped me calm down. This workshop is well worth your money and time. It is very intense so be prepared for twelve hour days with homework. It payed off I passed! Thanks for everything you do Tina. Dianne

Even after 20+ years of nursing, mostly ER, with a variety of patients. I would never have been as well prepared for the CPNE (which I passed with no repeats this weekend in Racine) as I was with Tina's course. I had taken Excelsior's workshop in Dec (not as good in my opinion) and Tina's in Mar, 3 weeks before my CPNE. Her help with timing and careplanig and strategizing were invaluable componets for my success. I have a very high GPA at both the community college where I did my pre-req's, and with Excelsiors nursing therory exams and most of my colleagues in a large teaching hospital think I function very well as a nurse, but without Tina's workshop and God's help I doubt that I would have passed this weekend. I flew to Ca for Tinas workshop due to excellent testimonials from some of our staff members here in Charleston SC. The workshop was perfect!! I was able to take the cpne the following month and pass with little effort on my part due to the excellent information that Tina provides. Read your binder provided by excelsior prior to the class and you will be able to organize your thoughts from the class structure. Thanks Tina

Thank you so much Tina for all your support and encouragement. I was able to pass the CPNE due largely to your very concise, clear and thorough instructions. You made it so simple and made me feel very confident. Your workshop was excellent! I have attended previous ones but yours are far more indepth and personalized. I recommended your workshop to other examinees who weren't able to pass last time. And I am so grateful for the follow-up support you have given me during my very stressful exam. Thank you so much again! anybody who have questions about the exam or Tina's workshop, please email me.

Passed the CPNE March 31st, April 1st and 2nd in Racine. Great site and the examiners are all very nice. Tina's Workshop is basically all you need to pass the CPNE. I would advise taking it 4 weeks before your test date, that gives you plenty of time to practice and you won't forget everything you learned. Thanks Tina for all the help.

She also goes way above what you will expect.

Thanks Tina for the incredible class and your personal caring whether we pass or not. Your CPNE class gave me the info and habits to pass the CPNE, AND I use some techniques you taught that were not taught at work in the same fashion, as your techniques are superior. They are even better than how they show in the CPNE videos.

I passed cpne in Racine, WI April 21-23 with no repeats. Tina's workshop is all you need to put the pieces together. I recommend Tina's workshop to all my friends. Tina is very caring, and stays in touch with you to make sure you are studying and to see if you have any questions. Tina even calls you on Friday to calm you down before the lab stations. I kept her updated with my success over the weekend. You have got to attend Tina's very comprehensive workshop. Yes it's tiring, but it is so worth the work.

I passed in Albany @ St. Peter's May 12-14. I know everybody says the same thing, but I think if this many people have said the same thing then there must be truth to it. But Tina's workshop helped put the puzzle together for me. I will try to post my experience on the CHE website later this week, and my thought I have already posted on the Yahoo groups site, will try to re-post here. Thanks to all, best wishes and good luck. This is the workshop to take. Please if anyone wants to ask questions please contact me via e-mail or AOL IM at sfdmedicRN.

I went to Tina's CHE workshop in November, at the beginning of my CPNE studies. What a smart move on my part! Tina taught me the proper way to do the simulation labs, so that I could go home and confidently practice them. She explained the areas of care, and critical elements in a way that helped me understand and get the most use out of Excelsiors CPNE study guide. Words cannot adequately express the way I feel about Tina and her workshop. There is no doubt that I passed my CPNE in Racine, Wisconsin this past weekend, (May 12-14, 2006) because of her. I owe my ultimate success to God, but I am convinced Tina was an answer to my prayers early in my CPNE preparation. I have been a LPN for 29 years, but hadn't worked in a hospital for almost 3 years. I lacked confidence and direction in my studies, and Tina's workshop gave me exactly what I needed to prepare for the CPNE.
Tina is in this because she has a heart of gold, and it shows. THANK YOU TINA!!!!

I took Tina's workshop in April and just passed my CPNE this past weekend. Tina's workshop totally prepared me for the exam. The grids helped to keep me organized so I wouldn't forget any critical elements. The workshop also helped me with careplans. Tina covers everything. My advice is to take this workshop before you test. I guarantee that you will feel much more prepared. Tina is a wonderful caring person and a great teacher. THANKS Tina for all your support!

I took Tina's workshop in November. I have to give her teachings most of the credit for my success in passing the CPNE in Feb with no repeats. She not only spent 12+ hour days while I was actually at the class, but she called to find out how my studies were going before my CPNE and while I was in Atlanta she called to make sure I was doing ok and help me focus my first care plan.
I highly recommended Tina's workshop, she will help get you focused and simplify the critical elements so that you can conquer the beast, oops I mean CPNE, with confidence. Many thanks!

I passed my CPNE 19-21 May in Racine WI. To say it was intense and stressful was an understatement; however, had I not taken Tina's workshop back in Jan (when nearly our entire UT Study Group attended)no doubt I would have failed. Just having the information for the mnemonics and grid set up and the KISS thinking for the care plans made a world of difference for my success. Prior to attending her workshop, trying to sort out through the study guide was pretty overwhelming. She broke things down into such common-sense and easier means. Add to all of that, she is such a great support and motivator. She inspires in one such positive motivation like no other. To date, everybody who was in our study group in Jan has passed the CPNE. Two more are slated to go in Aug and NO doubt that they will be passing as well. We are busy practicing, in our weekly study group, everything and anything she taught and shared with us. Tina is truly one of God's angels for sure. God bless her in all she does. Inshallah.

First and foremost, I am very fortunate that a close friend of mine, Sujata introduced me to Tina's workshop..Tina is I think a "God sent" by the "CPNE GODS!". I passed the CPNE last weekend of May 19-21 at Meriter Hospital in Madison Wisconsin. I have to say that without Tina's workshop, I don't think I would have made it through. If anyone is debating to take her workshop..I am not only recommending it..Her workshop is a "MUST"..My analogy to this is that, Tina's workshop is everyone's ammunition to a battlefield like the CPNE. It was very stressfull enough to experience the CPNE and i cannot imagine if I had to go through it without Tina's help. Tina, I cannot thank you enough and also same goes to your Sebastian - for all of your help and patience. God Bless to both of you and we will keep in touch... Noemi

You will learn so much in her workshop, it should be mandatory for the CPNE. Good luck and God Bless to all the future testers.

I would not have passed if it had not been for Tina's workshop. I had tested for the CPNE before and failed. But before I left, two other students had told me about Tina. To them I will forever be grateful. I retested and passed everyone on the first attempt. The workshop was very intense and it paid off. This is not an 8-5 workshop. She goes the extra mile for each and every one of her students. All of the tools needed to get through the CPNE are included. She gives her all!! All the paperwork- with neumonics so it will be error free and so many examples that you can't go wrong. The physical tools to play with, and YES, she will answer your every question -no matter how dumb you think that it is. She is full of encouragement and stress managament techniques. To top it off she makes herself available to you after the workshop just in case you need a peptalk or have a question. This workshop is like no other. She even personally took me back to the airport for my flight home! Tina truly cares about the success of her STUDENTS. I'm telling everyone: Do not even attempt the CPNE without attending Tina's workshop first. You'll just be wasting your money.

I am so glad I took Tina's workshop! I would not have passed without it. Tina is patient, compassionate and probably one of the smartest people I have ever met. When I was testing in Ohio, she called me at 0600 (0300 her time) to see how I was doing and if I needed any questions answered! Tina truly cares about her students.
The workshop is intense and packed with information on how to pass the CPNE. Tina spends extra time with students individually on areas of care that most concern them. She makes sure you are performing the labs correctly and shows you how to improve. I had picked up some bad habits over the years that Tina corrected - for this alone I would have failed the labs had I not gone to her class - all these years I thought I was performing correctly!! We spend so much time, effort and money to get our RN. It was one of the smartest decisions I made to attend Tina's workshop and protect the investment I had already made. So far, everyone that attended the workshop when I did has passed the CPNE. You can't afford not to take it. Feel free to contact me and ask me questions about the workshop or my CPNE experience. THANK YOU TINA - I will always be grateful.

Her organization skills are amazing and let me tell you , to pass the CPNE you MUST be organized! Know your critical elements, practice your labs until you can do them in your sleep and find a way to control your stress! Those are the "critical elements" needed to pass this very passable exam! THANK YOU TINA AND SEBASTIAN!!!!!!!

I passed the CPNE exam in Syracuse NY last Dec. 8-10, 2006. My greatest thanks to God first of all and to Tina, who is such a nice and inspiring person. I learned everything from her workshops esp. the lab stations which I passed on the first day. Her workshop will truly help you succeed in the CPNE exam. I'd like to advise you to never lose presence of mind, get things organized (like what you need to do as soon as you enter the patient's room ,one after another)and do what you need to do, and don't mind the CE looking at you. And of course, never forget to pray. To Tina, my warmest thanks, may you receive all God's graces in return for all your magnificent effort in helping your students. I like and love you a lot. Will contact you soon.

I'm sitting in Amarillo, just finished my CPNE,literally.I wish I had known about Tina before my first time taking the CPNE because I know the results would have been a positive one. I took away so much knowledge. Listen to what Tina has to say because she really knows here stuff. Tina also told me to go to Amarillo and I was scheduled here in October but took a cancilation earlier in Racine, so coming into Amarillo for a third attempt was nerve racking. Between August and this weekend the only review materials I used were the ones I recevied from Tina's workshop, I never looked at the carjack. What makes Tina so special is she really cares about you and she will talk to you the weekend you're doing your CPNE and hearing her voice is so calming. You can e-mail/call her after the workshop and no matter how busy she is she makes time for you.
Tina, thank you for helping me fullfill a lifelong dream

Tina is the best. Without her, I'd never made it through the CPNE. Tina teaches not only how to pass the Sim labs and your PCS's, but how to prepare for the CPNE when you get home from her workshop. After taking Tina's workshop, I had all the tools I needed to put my own home labs together, put my wife, son and friends through all the assessments and areas of care with ease.
Taking Tina's workshop will give you more than just a 4 or 5 day prep; which it does; but it gives you everything you need to go home and truly prepare for this most difficult obsticle to the RN you're seeking. It's well worth the money and expecially the time. Thanks again Tina for all your help, prayers and well wishes. Thanks to you, I passed my CPNE in Racine, WI without any repeats. Your instruction made the exam almost easy...Well Almost. The stress is still the biggest thing to overcome; with the knowledge I received from you, that was really the only hurdle left. A MOST SINCERE THANK YOU!!! Lewis Tant, LVN, Associates in Applied Science(nursing) Excelsior College Graduate January, 2007.

Words are not enough to describe how effective Tina's workshop is in helping me pass the CPNE. Her mnemonics are thorough and cover all the critical elements; her care plan approach is so simple that you'll be hard pressed not to understand. I really wouldn't have passed without all the knowledge I gained from her workshop. She supported me throughout the whole experience, called me during the CPNE to check on me, gave me encouragement and made me believe in myself. The only resource information I have is her study guide and that was enough for me to pass. Know her mnemonics like the back of your hand, know her approach to care plan and charting, practice labs until you can do it in your sleep and PRAY and you'll make it too. Thank you Tina!

It was an intense 4 days, but well worth the effort. I took the workshop because I didn't know where to begin my studying. I had just received the CPNE study guide and was overwhelmed. I had no idea what I had gotten myself into.
I followed all of Tina's advice, memorized the pneumonics, practiced all the skills, over and over again, and passed the first time. Wahoo, what a thrill! I felt so much calmer and prepared than most of the other candidates I tested with. I don't think I would have passed so easily without her direction. I just followed the plan.

I passed the CPNE in Amarillo, Texas on January 5-7, 2007. I know that I could not have done it without all of Tina’s help. Tina's workshop is very effective she goes through every aspect of the CPNE from start to finish, her lab set up is great, and set up just like the real exam. I passed the CPNE on my first try with no pcs or lab failures. Know her mnemonics like the back of your hand, know her approach to care plan and charting, practice labs until you can do it in your sleep. Tina is also a great motivator, you will leave this class feeling like you can take on the world!

I passed the CPNE, finally. I had to retest in Racine after failing
myself the first time. Without Tina's workshop, I would have been clueless. I did attend twice before my first attempt, but as I said, I failed myself. I attended the third time, and Tina was as knowledgable and inspiring as before. She truly is an angel for us who take on this test. Tina's spirit and way of presenting the material will put all at ease that this test is do-able. I would highly recommend, no, I would insist that anyone who wishes to pass this test take Tina's workshop.

Hello everyone,
I went to St. Mary's in Madison, Wisconsin this past weekend and it is a great site! The Ce's were great and they helped us all stay as calm as we could. They were all fair and honest. So they are all not the way that you read about on the group sites. It is not a hard test, but the nerves is what makes you forget things. Tina's way of teaching you to follow your grid is the only way you can keep yourself on track! Good luck to everyone and God Bless... Tina, I thank you so much for your help and direction, may God bless you and your family!! Kyle (UTAH)

I passed in Madison, Wisconsin on march 30 , 31 , and April 1 in Meritor Hospital. I honestly would not have done this with out Tina's help. I have being an LVN for the past 7 1/2 years and Tina's workshop gave me the confidence that i needed to pass. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND TINA'S WORKSHOP IF U WANT TO PASS THE CPNE. Took the CPNE in Madison, WI. on March 30, 31 4/1 The CE's, site and CA are great and treat you fairly. Pay no attention to the negative stuff out there. This is a tough test but very doable. If you are going to take one workshop to get you through the CPNE this is the one. Passed all 4 labs on friday. Bottom line, It got me through the entire weekend and gave me the confidence and depth i needed to get through a few bumps on the way to finishing. Tinas neumonics keep you on track as what to do and even better, how to be concise for your narrative notes. Tinas lab station and neumonics are great. Tina will help bring your stress level down and your preparedness up. This is the workshop to attend. Good luck and God Bless.

Thats what blew me out of the water first time (Racine).I went back the second time to Racine WI and passed.I still had a moderate amount of anxiety which is good. I was focused and was able to do what needed to be done to pass the test.Racine is a wonderful test site. The CA is alittle rough around the edges but whats you to REALLY pass. All the CE's were great, kind hearted and also your greatest cheerleader. Just listen to Tina carefully and laugh at her jokes and you will be a winner!!!! Good luck to you all. Banu

I can honestly say that I would NOT have passed, at least not as well as I did, if I hadn't taken Tina's Workshop--and I have been an LVN for several years. Why would a student want to struggle through such an important test when there is an outstanding prep course such as Tina's? It's not worth the stress, time or the money! Tina goes beyond instruction--she is warm, intelligent, patient and even funny at times! Yes, this is a huge, massive test. The workshop is well worth your money--Tina has the expertise, materials and set-up to prepare you. She will give you tips on areas to watch for and 1st hand reports on those who have just passed! Here you can network with others, share your concerns and find true encouragement--to help those unavoidable nerves. Tina, thank you so very, very much. Your help has been immeasurable!!! Marie L.

I just passed Sunday 5/6 at Racine, WI. Not only do I have little hospital experience, but NONE. I've been working in an outpatient clinic the last 5 years doing nothing but vital signs and healthcare reminders (Do you smoke, drink etc). I attended Tina's workshop twice and passed on my first attempt. I failed the IV push and then passed it Saturday. No repeats in the PCSs. Watch your charting, especially on the evaluation phase. Listen to Tina when she tells you that you need at least 30 minutes after your done with the implementation phase. Tina and Sebastian will teach you everything you need to know to pass, BOTTOM LINE!. The answer is NO, I DID NOT ATTEND AN EXCELSIOR OR ANOTHER WORKSHOP EITHER. Tina will also tell you which sites to go. As for Racine, they were more than fair. When it comes to the wound, do parachute method, they like fluff. Also, I forgot something very important. Along with Tina, I would email other students from Tina's class right after they passed and get pointers, that helped a lot, (i.e. the parachute method) I don't know what else to say except if you think your sharp clinically, it isn't about that. It's about doing it excelsior's way for 2 1/2 days. There have been students with ten years of trauma experience and failed.
Good Luck on your exams, Eric N, LPN/GN of Fort Lauderdale, FL

The Workshop
Upon returning to the hotel after Tina's workshop I could not hold back the emotions that swept over me. Yes, I'm sure some of it was fatigue and perhaps a little heatstroke, but it was not something I was seeking. Over the course of the last 4 days I had this "family" in San Jose. Tina was our "Mother Goose" and we were her goslings eagerly seeking her nurture and guidance. We asked questions we felt were so important to which she ALWAYS had the answer. We sat in awe hoping someday to be as knowledgeable and confident as she. We studied together in our bubble of learning (a very hot bubble sonsidering I came from Michigan) for four days oblivious to the outside world. Not even a California earthquake could rattle our concentration as we counted drops and stuffed gauze into fake wounds. We came from various states, religions, ethnicity and life experiences with the trepidation of one thing, the CPNE. We found comfort in the ultimate realization that we were not alone in this odd and unusual experience. Tina's CPNE workshop is like a micro drip in the IV of life, whose memory I will often draw upon for my own personal comfort measure. My only regret is that I didn't learn more about everyone's personal stories. Now, the workshop is over and "Mother Goose" Tina led us out of the nest to the edge of the water. It is up to us now to SWIM across to the CPNE Good luck everyone! 2222 222 22 222

I passed the CPNE WHewwwwwww. I am so excited. I tested at St. Peter's in Albany, NY June 15-17. And without Tina's workshop I NEVER would have passed. Tina is so awesome!!!
On Friday I passed all my labs. All you need to know is what Tina wrote up for the lab sheets. That's it. I was soooo confident when I went back on Saturday. However, I failed in the first 10 mins. of my adult PCS for breaking asepsis. That never happened again. My second PCS was a 16 yo Ped. Assess. for her were abd. assess, resp asses, and pain man. Passed!! Feeling a little under the weather at this point. 3rd pcs was an adult male. Abd assess, meds, and O2 man, passed!! Feeling good at this point!! 4th PCS adult female. Abd. assess, PVA lower, and irrigation of NG tube. I was at a loss, I remember my irrigation mnemonic, and it didn't apply. So I thought real hard tried to look through the chart for what to do and NOTHING. I wanted to give up, but I closed my eyes and wrote down the first thing that came to my head. Suction off check for placement. That's what I did, and I wasn't walked out of the room. The CE actually said good job. I was done I handed my Kardex in with 45 mins to go for my PCS. Passed!!!! I have to say St. Peter's was a great hosp. the CA was really nice and 3 out of the 4 CE's I met were more than great. I would definitely recommend St. Peter's. If for nothing else it was the MNEMONICS, know. Tina without you and God I never would've passed. Thank you sooooo much. It was an absolute pleasure to have met you. You changed my life!! God Bless you. And good luck to everyone.

Hi! After almost eight months of waiting I(and my wife and 4 year old daughter) finally flew to Amarillo, TX for my CPNE. The wait itself was stressful enough esp. that I felt
not quiet ready having just attended a three day workshop. To top it all, I'm working in a psych department and my skills are not comprehensive enough to give me the confidence of even just taking the CPNE, much more of passing it. But the other workshop was actually a blessing in disguise because that's where I learned about Tina's workshop. Having assessed myself, there was this fear of not being able to pass just with this three day workshop. So I really made sure to contact Tina once I got my confirmation to test and luckily I got in the workshop just in time for my scheduled CPNE. I attended the July 13-17 workshop and by the end of the first day i was already saturated with a lot of info, even more than I learned from my other three day workshop. Tina really covered everything. It was also good to learn other student's experiences and actual patient's scenarios which actually supplemented the workshop. The Labs were too cool.Tina's sim labs were organized and with enough room and resources/supplies to practice. She actually made sure everybody is able to do each station under her scrutinizing eyes and always allow and encourage students to practice in their own free time. Tina doesn't run out of ideas. She also make things simple for everyone to understand. Her discussions of every critical element are supplemented with actual student's experience and even her own so it was easy for those info to stick to my already loaded brain cells. She never took even a simple thing for granted. She provided visual aids/pictures for equipment we might find in an actual hospital setting and discussed procedures that might be possibly asked in the actual. For me, she was actually spoon feeding us with everything. All I have to do was take in and digest. Bottomline, she was there to help everyone to pass the CPNE without reservations at all. The fee was really worth it to think that you have already everything planned out and prepared for every student. The critical elements most esp. were already in mnemonics which were easy to remember. She also focused in time management and how to carry on with each PCS with a good and solid background so as not to omit a required critical element. Lunch was even free in her workshop. One important thing I will remember about Tina is that she is open to comments and every question no matter how stupid you may think it is, is always answered. Having practiced the labs many times gave me the confidence and reduced my anxiety level as well. The mnemonics prepared me for the actual PCS. Overall, Tina filled in the gaps that were missing in my journey to the CPNE. She gave me the boost in my confidence despite my job background and put my structure for the actual PCS and even the labs in their proper perspectives... something that was clear, organized, and easy to recall. Her tips for the nursing diagnosis and care plans were also helpful and straightforward. Lastly , Tina made me feel how is to be an RN. To Tina, I can't thank you enough and i won't get tired telling you and everybody this because you mmade me realize my dream of finally finishing my Excelsior nursing degree after 5 long years of taking one step at a time. And with those 5 long years, even though, I was passing every theoritical exam, there was always this cloud of doubt regarding the CPNE hovering in my mind. Tina and her workshop( of course Sebastian, too!) erased that cloud of doubt and prepared me to face my CPNE weekend with open mind and a solid confidence in myself.I'm proud to say that I passed the sim labs on August 10 without repeats and also passed my 2 adult PCS's(Saturday) and my peds PCS (Sunday)also without repeats. And I'm not ashamed to say that this CPNE success would not be possible without God's will and guidance. And I am trully grateful to HIM for giving me Tina as an instrument for this success. Right now, while waiting for my papers for graduation from Excelsior College I'll be contacting Ca board of nursing for my application. I'm also starting to read and review for the NCLEX, in the hope to take it this year. My only advice to everyone, know your limits, focus more on your deficiencies without taking the basic or what you already knew for granted, involve family support if you're comfortable with it(esp. during exam),practice and practice, Know the mnemonics by heart and listen to Tina..you'll learn a lot.And most importantly, trust in yourself and just take one day or one thing at a time. To all those who might be in my shoes, believe in yourself and be prepared taking one day at a time. If you're not registered with any workshop, what are you waiting for? Register with Tina. You will agree with me, it will change your life. Good luck and God bless everyone!!!!!!

I just returned home from my CPNE weekend. I am so very excited to say that I passed with no repeats on labs or Patient Care Situations. I just want to say a huge thank you to Tina and Sebastian from the CHE workshop, for all of their help and support. The workshop was wonderful. Of all the workshops I have attended, this one topped all. They were very attentive to our individual needs and made sure that everyone had enough practice with the skills needed to pass the CPNE. After attending the workshop I felt so much more prepared for the exam. I have been an LPN for almost 10 years, yet I learned so much in those 5 days, from Tina and Sebastian, that I know it has made me an even better nurse. And I just want them to know how very thankful I am for all of their help.
For anyone thinking of attending their workshop. Let me just say that you will not be sorry that you did. Thanks again guys.. Catina Gordon-Oates, GN

Tina throughly covers all areas and is well worth it for even someone with a lot of clinical experience. I travelled across the country to attend. You get more than your money's worth! It was also a fun time!!
(I have no nursing experience but am an X-Ray Tech and a Paramedic working a busy 911 system for many years.) Tina is an awesome and gifted instructor! Thanks for everything Tina!!!

I want to let everybody out there who is thinking about taking a workshop to prepare for the CPNE know that THIS is the workshop to take! Everything and I mean EVERYTHING that you will need to know about the process and planning for the CPNE is given to you by Tina. She tells you exactly how to pass the labs on Friday night and the PCS on Saturday and Sunday. I am an LPN for 36yrs and basically have no clinical skills, doing medical billing and then pediatric homecare for the last 17yrs. This involves taking care of one patient at a time, one set of needs at a time and often taking care of the same child for a number of years. So,you can see the extent of my clinical skills. I found Tina's workshop and attended it last year a couple of months before my CPNE in Dec 2006. I didn't have a clue how to break down the study guide and learn what I needed to know to pass. Tina broke it down step by step, one area of care at a time, with nmeumonics for each critical element that you needed to perform and document for that specific AOC. I did not pass the first time. Nerves, stress and a hearing deficit did me in. I was totally ready to give up and for the next 3 and 1/2 months, I could not even bear to reapply. Throughout all this, Tina continued to call me, to encourage and inspire me, and to tell me that I could pass the CPNE. Tina guides each and everyone of her students. She does not forget about you once your workshop is over. She continues to help you and answer all your questions (by phone or email) until your CPNE is passed. With Tina's encouragement I reapplied and took the CPNE this past weekend (9/28,29,30/2007) and passed with no repeats. After your labs are done on Friday night, she makes herself available by phone if you have any questions or need any help with your careplan for PCS #1. Tina continues to inspire you and help you before and after each PCS throughout your test weekend. I live in NJ and went across the country to Tina's workshop and it is the best preparation for the CPNE that is available. I bought DVDs, audio CDs, lab videos and workbooks and nothing compares to the intensive, complete instruction that you receive from Tina. The lab stations are exactly like the labs at the CPNE. Tina's workshop has complete hospital rooms setup with hospital beds, and many other pieces of medical equipment that you may not be familiar with if you aren't currently working in a clinical setting. I truly could not have passed the CPNE this past weekend without Tina's workshop and her continued guidance and inspiration. For the future CPNERS out there who may be reading this: DO NOT HESITATE to attend this workshop! It is the only one you will need to pass. It is worth every penny you may have to spend to get to San Jose. Other workshops that "come" to your area do not have the extensive amount of medical equipment that Tina has available for you to learn and practice with. I can not speak highly enough about Tina. If you want to pass the CPNE and feel you need help, Tina at cheducation is the only instructor you will need and her workshop is the only way to go. Thirty-six years after starting nursing school (with about a 30 yr time out for "life") I can almost see the "RN" after my name. My gratitude goes to Tina, for without her knowledge and experience, I would not be at this point in my life. Thank you, Tina! Love and God Bless! Oh, and by the way, I'm 56yrs old and if Tina can help this "young woman" to pass the CPNE, all of you reading this can pass too!

I passed CPNE with no repeats @ Utica NY.
Tina's workshop help me to understand the critcal elements, increased my confidence, she thought me how to plan & organize my work. My advice to anyone reading this passage include: believe in yourself, grids for every lab, spend 30 minutes in planning phase, don't rush to finish the lab or PCS, it is your $$$$$. I was the last to finish the labs with no repeats. They wanted to fail me in IV meds b/c my answer was 24.7, I chose 24gtts/min. The CE call the CA that I failed the lab. While she was filling the forms, I requested for the CA and told her that my calculation was right and that it was specified in the study guide. Both the CE and CA stop, after few minutes she told me that I passed. speak out for yourself Stop, breath and think before acting. Learn to pray for yourself, ask family and friends to prayer for you. I believe in poo Pray for steay mind, steady hands, ability to remember the critical elements and apply them in pt clinical situations. pray the right pt, right Ca and CE. Thank you Tina. eveything that helped me pass my CPNE(Oct 26-28 2007) without repeats in Racine, Wisconsin was my workshop with Tina in August. I flew in Racine well prepared. I was a HIPPI COW PTSD Friday morning(all tina workshoppers know what i mean here. haha) but finished my last PCS ahead of the allotted time and with confidence. My CEs complemented me on my skills in the lab and in the PCSs. When I thanked my CA and CEs, all said in this effect: "You were prepared. Your skills were great. You did all the hard work and it is about time to reap the rewards." What an amazing feeling! All these I attribute to my workshop with Tina! Tina made sure she covered everything we needed to know about the CPNE. She made sure we were well equipped with the skills we needed to make it through the weekend. Thank you, Tina, for the patience and the knowledge, for breaking down the CPNE into a comprehensible and attainable goal. More power!

Dear Tina,
Words are not enough to thank you for your great workshop, and your moral support. You are wonderful.. Your workshop is a must for an Exlcesior student to pass CPNE. Not only you have the best workshop (the most comprehensive), but above all you are a talented teacher, and one of the most caring people I have ever known. You were always there to help and to listen. I will make sure to let everybody know about your excellent workshop. I did not have an easy time with CPNE.. but I passed. I strongly believe that one of the things that really helped me was knowing your mnemonics for critical elements and practicing labs/nursing care plans during your workshop. Thank you for creating this workshop..
