| Comments: | I saw you guys in 1982 0r 83 in Greensboro, North Carolina with Quiet Riot and Saga I think it was. Anyway I was already a big fan of the Headpins and all but... LIVE... you guys and Darby in particular BLEW ME AWAY!!! I was 20 years old and I was SO LUCKY to be there on the floor. I was about 15 rows back in the center. It was in Greensboro Coliseum. I will never forget it. IF you guys ever come this way I will go just about anywhere in the SE US to see you. Add me to your email list if you have one.

I just wanted to say thanks for coming to Sooke. I didn't get a chance to tell Darby how much I sincerely appreciate her vocal capability, and amazing stage presence. I am a musician and a singer myself, and when I heard you sing... girl... holy sh*t! I have not yet until last week had a female vocalist who has inspired me that much. There are many I admire, but for the first time something actually hit me in a huge way the second you started to sing. It is truly amazing that you can sing the notes you do with the tone and keep it strong and together the way you do... none... I mean none of the "best" female vocalists of today's "top 40" come close to that in my opinion, and while it may be a matter of preference, I don't go on and on like this about just anyone... so there... long winded.. sappy compliment... You all rock, but I'm a girl, and a singer, so I can't help but focus on that the most! PS - nice chattin with you Ab! |
