| Comments: | We lost our firstborn daughter to stillbirth September 15, 2002. Needless to say, I didn't want to think about celebrating Christmas that year. A friend of ours we met through the national group SHARE gave us a copy of the poem, Merry Christmas from Heaven, and since then we have read it every year. My grandmother passed away last year, December 22, 2004, and the same poem was used in her memorial service program. It is such a blessing to see that our hearts are so touched by loved ones, and that there are websites like yours to share the feelings. |

| Comments: | hi there. i just wanted to say how much i have enjoyed looking at this website. the poems really touched me. i lost my brother back in 90 then my son was stillborn in 91, then we lost my grandfather two years ago. my granny is holding up, she is scheduled for surgery to remove cancer from her leg after the holidays. we dont expect her to make it through the surgery but we pray every day she will. she is a twenty plus kidney transplant patient, had a quadruple bypass surgery ten years ago(which was said was suppose to kill her) she has high blood pressure diabetes you name it. i love my granny so much and it saddens me to think of ever losing her. of course i never expected my grandpa to go. it was sudden and unexpected. i am a single mom of three amazing boys who are my world. they make me smile when i am down. i am hoping to be able to afford to go home for christmas to be with my granny. just waiting to see if i get a child support check. which of course hasnt arrived for november or december. anyways. thanks for a wonderful webpage. i needed the smile and the tears. happy holidays to you and yours. |
