| Comments: | I was born to John Charles Heenan of Tenafly, NJ in 1972. My father was born in Tenafly to Frank and Helen Heenan (formerly Pasquale) on April 8th 1943. I don't know my Grandfather's parents names, so I can't trace a family tree on his side. Any information from other Heenans would be great! |

| Comments: | Hi, I was loking for information about the Heenan clan, had a chance call from a Jeff Heenan from Arbroath in Angus, Scotland who got very excited when I said I too was a Heenan......started a spark of curiosity and here I am??? I was born in Galway in the west of Ireland to parents Alfred Heenan and Una Wallace and am one of 8 children. Grandad was from west of Ireland too......Ballyhaunis area or Westport in Co. Mayo.....rumour has it that the original surname was Heenihan was was shortened.....not sure if that's true though or the right spelling? |

| Comments: | Just fiddling around killing time and googled the family name for curiosity. I am in Australia and married to Paul Heenan, 2nd youngest of nine children.Son of Tom Heenan whose father was Maurice. Tom had a brother Gerald and sister Margaret and some step siblings as well. The ancestors came from county Cork Ireland, some of whom still live in the same cottage ... Paul's elder siblings have visited the 'rellies' on overseas holidays and know a lot more history than I do should you need any info... |
